Demolition of brick work or stone/ boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins,arches, pillars,etc. but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for brick work with old size full brick subclass ‘B’ burnt clay bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius, built in CM (1:6) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for walling of random rubble, uncoursed well bonded, bedded and solidly hearted, stone masonary work built in CM (1:6) complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- Only quantity of PCC bond stone to be deducted from quantity of random rubble masonary.

Description same all as item No. 5 above but except stone complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Old retreived serviceable stone under demolition item shall be used.

M&L for Precast PCC (1:3:6) type C-1, using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in bond stones in lieu of stone bond stones, set in cement mortar (1:6), complete all as specified and directed.

Extra over stone walling for hammer dressing with maximum depression on face from straight edge held against the dressed surfacae not exceeding 40mm to face stone for Lime or sand stone and dressing of face beds and joints, as specified of random rubble walling, uncoursed or brought upto course complet all as specified and directed.

M&L for 75 mm thick PCC (1:4:8) type D2, (40 mm graded stone agg) as in sub base of floor/ hardstanding/ footpath complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone wall surfaces including glazed tiles wherever exists including raking out joints, hacking for key and scrubbing down with water and removing unseviceable materials out side MoD land complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 15mm thick plastering on fair faces of brick wall in two layers, Ist layer 10mm thick CM (1:6), and IInd layer 5mm thick CM (1:4), surface finished even and fair mixed with @ 200ml per bag WPC (liquid type) complete all as specified and directed. Note :- WPC (Liquid type) shall be measured and paid separately as supply only.

Supply only WPC integral water proofing compound (Liquid type) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 12mm thick rendering on fair faces of brick work or concrete surface in cement plaster (1:6) finished the surface even and fair complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for raised pointing in cement mortar (1:4) to random rubble masonary uncoursed or brought upto course complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing old decorated plastered or unplastered surfaces of wall by brooming down or steel wire brushing, scrapping down smoke soot, moulds, moss and efflorescent salts and trading oil and greasy spot and applying two coats of white wash complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparing newly plastered surfaces of wall and applying three coats of white wash complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The newly plastered surface must be prepared in a manner so that there should not be any impression of dent and it should be made even and smooth all as per satifaction of Engr-in-Charge.The cost of all materials, T&P and labour required for preparation of surface are deemed to be included in the rates quoted.

M&L for preparation of old decorated surface of exterior wall by complete removal of existing treatment with mechanical sander (rpm 1500-2700) along with internal dust extraction system for clean environment certified by reputed paint manufacturers, then washing the surface with Bleaching powder solution for treatment of fungal growth and applying two coats of exterior anti fungal acrylic emulsion paint of required shade (wallmista of Berger paint or equitant in Asian paint, Nerolac etc having three years of performance warranty) over a coat of exterior water based primer of same make all as specified and prescribed by manufacture of paint/ distemper by using roller/ spray machineand with and including application of wall care putty to remove the dent and to make the surface even and smooth by grinding or rubbing with sand paper complete all as specied and directed at site by Engineer-in-Charge.

Note: (i) The old surface must be prepared in a manner so that there should not be any impression of dent and it should be made even all as per manufacture instruction before application of distemper. The cost of materials, labour and T&P required for preparation of surface are demand to be included in the rates quoted. (ii) The work must be got executed through authorised applicator of manufacture after concluding an MoU with manufacture for company back guarantee by the contractor. The authorised applicator of manufacturer shall be got approved from GE/ AGE (I) before commencement of work. (iii) All the material to be incorporated in the work shall be brought by contractor to MES store yard which will be subsequently issued by deportment for incorporation in the work to ensure the quantity to be consumed all as per recommendation of manufacture. (iv) after carrying out preparation of surface the same shall be got approved from GE /AGE (I) before application of distemper for each building. (v) Before commencing the work, contractor will got the written approval from GE/ AGE (I) for the make and colour / shade (tint). (vi) The cost of Scaffolding wherever required are deemed to be included in the rates quoted by the contractor.

Note:- Shade of the tiles including Colour, design and pattern shall be approved by AGE(I) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Non- skid coloured ceramic tiles of any design and pattern, 7 to 8 mm thick, of following size, as in floor etc with and including 15mm thick screed bed in CM (1:4), set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of the tiles. Tiles shall be confirming to IS-15622.2006, Group B II with average water absorption between 3% to 6%. Length, width and straightness of sides + 0.10% (Max deviation). Note :- (i) If the contractor fail to make good the disturbed surface of wall/ floor etc and do not match with the existing surface of wall/ floor to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge, a recovery of @ Rs. 50/- per RM will be made from payment due to the Contractor.
