M&L for decarburizing / cleaning existing LT panel of various sizes consisting of bus bar & circuit chamber, metering chamber, CTs and relay chambers, cleaning with CTC and ensure proper decarburizing,checking the bus bar joints, bus bar and circuit spouts, current transformer, all connections, tightening of nut-bolts, thimbles, joints, cleaning and applying busbar Insulation tape to the bus bars, applying monoplast compound at the bus bar joints, supply & replacing defective / burnt nut-bolts, lugs and wire with new nut-bolts, lugs & wire of suitable size and reassembling & refixing the same complete all as specefied and directed. M&L preparation of old painted surfaces of LT panels etc. by scraping rusted surface by sand paper & steel brush, rubbing, cleaning, brooming and making the surface smooth including spray painting with one coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Contractor shall provide all testing equipment, T&P and injection kit for testing and creating the artificial fault for testing the proper functionality of relays and instruments on designed settings & unit rate quoted against this item shall be considered to include all these aspects. (ii) Necessary test report of calibration shall be submitted by the contractor to Engr-in-Charge before claiming any payment against this item.
