Supply, Installation, Testing & Commisioning of Microprocessor based Intelligent, addressable expandable and fully networkable Fire Alarm Control Panel ( VDS / UL /ERTL, LPCB & FM approved ) suitable for the devices as stated in the previous items of this BOQ along with 20% spare capacity with each loop loading not exceeding 80% of the full capacity of detectors and devices taken together, conplying to IS 2189:2008 or its latest amendments, and with minimum 600 character alpha - numeric liquid crystal display.The panel shall be soft addressable type and shall be able to give pin point location of all fire/ fault conditions. Further, the panel must be able to automatically switch off respective control switches whenever any alarm is triggered.The Panel should be able to store sufficient numbers of log events in its Memory as per recommended standards.

The panel shall have in built rectifier, provision for external & internal printer ( if required ), Loop cards, L C D unit to indicate Fire/Fault Signal with address and analog output, complete in all respects, in built Surge protection facility, integral SMF lead acid batteries with sealed cells of 24 V capable of running for 24 hours normal working and then be capable of operating the system for 30 minutes during Emergency condition, with integral battery charger complete in all respect as required.

The FACP shall be capable of being networked ( future expansion ) with other similar FACP located at different part of the premises through single RS 485 bus.The FACP shall have provision for interfacing with the public address system, remote computer and BMS interface.The system must be preloaded with licenced software. NOTE : 1. The Fire Alarm system shall comply with latest requirements of -- 2. National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Standards. 1. IS 2189 3. NFPA 70 National Electric Code 4. NFPA 72 National Fire Alarm & Signaling Code 5. Local Statutory Regulations 6. Manufacturer Recommendation.

TESTS:1.The system shall be tested and commissioned by a qualified competent,trained engineer or technician authorized by the manufacturer of the fire alarm equipment to technically supervise and participate during all of the adjustments and tests for the system. 2. Before energizing the cables and wires, check for correct connections and test for short circuits, ground faults, continuity, and insulation and other tests as per above standards must be done. 3. The Commissioning Manuals, Tools , Dongles, USb Token, Software, or whatever is required for the Commissioning of the FACP, in whatever name it called must be handed over to the EIC, along with the passwords of the panel.

Terms and Condition

The Agency must procure the materials from the Manufacturer / OEM or from their authorised sales channel so that the standard warranty / support of the Manufacturer / OEM becomes applicable to the products to be delivered and installed by them.

Documents that authenticates such procurement from the Manufacturer / OEM or from their authorized sales channel and standard warranty / support should be sent from the e-mail of the Manufacturer / OEM / authorized sales channel to the e-mail of Engineer-in-Charge and hard copy of it to be submitted during execution, of work/submission of bill.

If any refurbished material is supplied and installed, penal action will be taken as per existing rules
