S&F pre-laminated PVC sheet wall panelling of thickness 5 mm (+ 0.25) consisting of panels of desired size stuck on inner frame work of 50 mm wide strips of 5 mm (+ 0.25) thick prelaminated PVC sheet. The panels & strips shall be 600 Kg/Cum density manfactured by an ISO-9000 certified company. The strips should have a groove in their centre of 6mm wide and 1mm deep in the centre for sinking the head of the scews used to fix the strips to the wall vertically at an equal interval of 10" C/C between two PVC strips. The PVC strips shall be fixed to the wall using 65 mm long M.S screws through groove in the strip by using PVC fasteners. The distance between two screws shall not be more than 200mm. A groove of 2mm may be left at the joint of two panels for aesthetic looks. The exact size of the panel and correspondingly of the grid may vary depending on the size of the wall. (d) Applying a coat of hot blown bitumen 85/25 grade @ 1.20 Kg/Sqm on top surface of APP membrane. (e) Finally finishing the top surface by applying one coat of aluminium paint as per manufacturer's instructions. (f) Providing template of size 450 x 450 mm to each bldg where roof treatment is carried out with marking CA No, Date of WPT, Expiry date, etc all as specified and directed. Note: (i) The work of WPT shall be carriedout by authorised manufacturers/ applicator with prior written approval of GE. (ii) WPT shall be tested for leakage seepage by filling of water over roof slab continuously for 48 hours. The defects observed during testing, if any, shall be rectified by the contractor for entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge/GE.
