M&L for roof treatment with the following specification - Removing existing water proofing treatment and applying water proofing treatment on horizontal or vertical surfaces by applying oil bound bitumen primer @ 0.20 Kg/sqm and providing 3mm thick APP modified water proofing membrane weighing not less than 3 Kg/sqm reinforced with non-woven polyester matt weighing not less than 160 gm/sqm, The overlap shall be minimum 100mm on transverse direction and 75 mm on longitudinal direction and sealing overlap by torch application and bonded and applying a coat of blown grade hot bitumen 85/25 over and below the membrane @ 1.20 Kg/sqm in drying over the membrane finished with solar reflective bituminous aluminium paint/ primer @ 0.10 Kg/sqm over RCC roof slab/ parapet after cleaning the surfaces by removing dust, dirt etc. as per manufacturer’s instructions including 15mm thick screed in CM 1:4 and all as specified and as directed.
