The pre packed components shall be mixed as per the paking ratio and applied.The Epoxy underlay shall achieve a minimum compressive strength of 60 N/mm2, flextural stength of 20 N/mm2 and tensile strength of 10N/mm2, 7 days. The underlay shall have nil water absorption when tested as per BS 1881 Part 122-1983. The over the screed apply copper tape of 100 microns thick and 25 mm width,connected to existing eart pit having spacing 10m both directions, then conductive primer coat Nitoflor SL of Fosroc or equivalent of Sika/Bostic conductive basecoat shall be applied at a Thickness of 100 microns and then top coat of 2000 microns- Nitoflor Sl conductive of Fosroc or quivalent in sika/bostic shall be applied to provide approx 3x103 - 9x103 ohm surface resistance.which shall be applied in pre-weighed packs and ready to mix and use which will consist of resin, hardner, EPI (colour concentrate) formulated as specified and as directed.

PEB Structure (Hanger Portion) refer item No 50.01 to 50.21 Manufacture, supply and erection of PEB in steel structure for hangar of size as mentioned in drawing. Contractor shall manufacture, supply and erect the structural materials such as column, rafter, beams, purlins, sag rods, tie rods, sheets, wall cladding etc to site as per Drgs having materials of approved make from approved manufacturers. The PEB structure shall have robust water tightness at all joints and connections. Also all hardware including equipments required for positioning and anchoring of the PEB structure to the RCC foundation plinth shall be used. Material and labour for Design, Supply, Fixing, Testing and Commisioning for automation operation of the hangar door (FRONT DOOR) with all safety measures including all items/materials required for smooth operation of door complete with comprising the followings :-
(a) Operating Unit : A traction drive operating unit consisting of a special designed gear box along with integral drive wheel made of ST 52-3/ FE-540WHT steel, which acts a single unit for one of the bottom wheels. Incorporated with Consts./heavy Duty Electric Motor, IP-55 Protection to suit electric supply of 415 V, 3-phase AC & 50 Hz with energy efficient rating having PF more than 0.90, robust construction. In case of POWER FAILURE, change over from electrical to manual operation is to be achieved by declutching the idler gear into manual position using which two persons are able to operate the drive manually with handle and doors shall be opened by disengaging the Gear Box. - 10 Nos Note : Speed of movement of door should not more than 0.20 Mtr per Second.
(b) Bottom Wheels : Each door leaf is to be supported at the bottom on minimum of 2 Nos. heavy duty double flanged track wheels made of ST 52-3/ FE-540WHT steel, of required diameter as per design requirement. The wheel assemblies shall be vertically adjustable, wheel assemblies shall be so that it permits removal of the wheel without removing the door leaf from its position on the rails. The machine wheel treads concentric with bearing. The distance between flanges shall not exceed the width of the rail. Wheel bearing Tapered rollers or spherical bearings, either internal or cartridge type, arranged so that both horizontal and vertical loads shall be transferred to the rail only through the bearing. Bearing shall be tightly sealed and equipped with high-pressure grease fittings. - 10 Nos. Note : Total numbers of wheel are 20 Nos (10 Nos under item (a) and 10 Nos under item (b) above).
(c) Top Rollers System/ Telescopic Assembly : Each leaf is to be guided at top by min 2 Nos. telescopic assembly made of ST 52-3 / FE-540WHT steel, specially designed to compensate the allowable structural deflection, reduce the overall weight of the structure and to ensure the smooth running of leaf across the clear opening. - 20 Nos. Note : Top of gantry shall be covered with GI sheet and sheet shall be extended upto PEB structure so that no opening shall be left for rain etc to enter from the top of the door.
(d) Control Panel Systems : Each Door Control Panel shall consist of DOL starters and VFD, drive contactors, motor protection, control fuse holder, fused and indication lamps interlock contactors, limit/proximity switches, warning lights/hooters, trailing/bunching cable/wiring on the door after the main incoming power junction box. The incoming and of each control panel will be of MCCB 415 Volts, 63 Amps, 10KA and Outgoing will be of MCCB 415 Volts, 32 Amps, 10KA. - 02 Nos. Note : Power supply to each master lester leaf shall be by means of a looped trailing/ bunching cable system, mounted in the top guide track area from a junction box placed at top extermities inside the hangar.
(e) Push Button/ Proximity Switch Systems : Master panel is fitted with a pendant push button station. The pendant is mounted to the leading edge of the leaf on a cord about 2 meters long that allows the operator to move from side to side to see where the door is being driven. The pendent is hung up on a hood when not in use. The buttons themselves include “Move”, “Open Mode” (as required) and “Emergency STOP” buttons. The “Open”, “Close” and “Move” push buttons are the dead man’s type; the Emergency “STOP” button is a red mushroom-headed, “twist – to reset” type. In addition, a “Power ON” indicator lamp shall be fitted. Master Panel shall be fitted internally with an audible and visual alarm which operates at all times the “MOVE” button is pressed and for a safe period before the leaf is in motion under power. An interlock switch is fitted to the internal access panels for the drive units to prevent any leaf being used it is open. On operation OPEN/CLOSE push button, the variable speed drive control panel shall enable the doors to be started and accelerated to their running speed by a smooth & gradual increase of the speed over an interval of time. Similarly, on receiving a confirmation from the ‘Pre-final” limit/proximity switch, the panel shall automatically decrease the speed of the door smoothly & gradually from running speed to full rest. - 40 Nos. (push button 20 Nos and proximity switch 20 Nos.)
(f) Door Operation Safety : The following features shall be incorporated in the control system of the door: (i) The Control Panel shall be located as directed for easy operation and enable the operator to have a full view of the area during operation of the door. (ii) Buffers : Heavy duty energy absorbing buffer stops are to be designed and to be provided at the extremities of the bottom track to cushion and stop the doors coming off the end of their tracks in an emergency situation. - 20 Nos (iii) Safety Edges : In order to prevent any accident, the leaf must return to its home position in case of presence of any human being or aircraft along the line of operation of the leaf. - 20 Nos (iv) The OPEN & CLOSE Push Buttons are constant pressure (HOLD to RUN) and the EMERGENCY STOP Push Buttons is STAY PUT type and have to be twisted to release. (v) Emergency limit switch shall be provided at the extreme limits of travel just before the mechanical buffers. These emergency limit switches shall totally cut-off the control/power supply to the system in case the doors over shoot their normal limits. (vi) Audio/Visual Alarm : Master door panel shall be provided with a Flash Light cum Hooter that shall start & continue to operate during the time door is in operation. - 02 Nos (vii) Key operation: An operation key switch shall be provided on each control panel to prevent unauthorized operation of the doors.

NOTE FOR FRONT DOOR & BACK DOOR: (i) Any other items which is necessary and required for smooth and safely functional of the doors shall be carried out without extra cost to the department. (ii) All doors/door leafs should be provided with EPDM sealing to avoid ingress of dust. (iii) Provide galvanised drainage duct mounted under bottom guide rail for drainage of water from grooves of rail tracks. (iv) Provide sufficient number of cleats at both side of upper guide tracks to prevent the door/door leafs over falling by any cause.
(v) Tenderer shall submit complete OEM design details alongwith drawing vetted by IIT/NIT or any Govt agency/ Govt approved agency for electrically and manually operated sliding doors to GE and obtain approval before execution of work. The complete work shall be carried out by the OEM /approved venders who has already executed the same nature of work.
(vi) Structural Stability Test for the hangar door shall be carried out through state/central authorities and Structural Stability Certificate shall be submitted be submitted by the contractor on completion without any extra cost to the department.
