REPAIR TO CERTAIN REPAIR TO ROADS, HARDSTANDING, BERMS, PATHS AND CULVERTS ETC UNDER AGE B/R-I AT ARMY AREA JODHPUR UNDER GE (ARMY) NO. 02

M&L for Repair to pot holes any depth not exc 1.0 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads , paths etc including cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth and making good by applying tack coat with bituminious primer of paving bitumen at 5Kg/10Sqm , putting in premix as specified for thin bituminious carpet (2 cm thick) well rammed & sealed with premixed sand seal coat ( 6.8Kg of binder & with 0.06 Cum of sand) again well rammed depth of pot holes n.exc 30mm (including supply of premix binder & sand) complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charges.

Scarifying or picking gravelled macadam or bituminious macadam surface in area not exceeding 400 Sqm and deep exceeding 50mm or n. exceeding 100mm , removing the unserviceable materials/debaries n.exc 50m and dispose off complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charges.

M&L for 7.5cm thick ( Compacted thickness) WBM with sand stone coarse aggregates of grading 2 ( 63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 ( 50 to 20mm size) spread rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber as required complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charges.

Ditto- all as per item No 3 here in before but Except materials complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charges.

M&L for preparing scarified road surfaces and/or unsurfaced WBM top surface of roads by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny gags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a prime coat of Cationic bitumen emulsion (SS- 1) confirming to IS 8887 at the rate of application of 0.7 to 1.00 Kg per Sqm on surface of WMM/WBM as specified in Table 500 - 3 of Morth specification for road and bridge works 2013 using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charges.

M&L for laying premix bituminous, macadam with paving bitumen VG 40 ( viscosity grade) @ binder content of 4% by weight of total mix laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charges.

M&L preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny gags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a tack coat of Cationic bitumen emulsion (RS- 1) confirming to IS 8887 at the rate of application of 0.2 to 0.3 Kg per Sqm as spd in Table 500 - 5 of Morth specification for road and bridge works 2013 using mechanical sprayer after cleaning the existing surface complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charges.

M&L for providing bituminous premixed asphaltic semi dense concrete (design mix) 40mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, using paving bitumen VG-40 ( viscosity grade) of any penetration laid/spread uniformly by means of mechanical pavers over primed WBM surfaces rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient, complete 10 to 12 ton power roller, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charges.

S&F in repair for cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions. complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charges.

M & L thermo plastic center or edge line, marking (reflective type ) of 2.5 mm to 3.00 mm thickness & width of strip exc 10cm but not exc 25cm of uniform finishing with machine conforming to BS 3262 (Part-I) 1989 read with most specification of 803 clause 4.2.1 and 4.2.2 on bituminious surface in white / yellow colour and super imposed with glass slam beats conforming to BS 6088 and most specification 803 clause 4.3.3 including cleaning of surface by removing all dust dirt oil grease etc including removing of existing marking with spirit / kerosene / gas burner or mechanically on bituminious surface complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charges.
