PROVISION OF EPOXY PU FLOORING AND ALLIED WORKS AT AEC BAY AT AFS BIDAR

SCHEDULE OF WORKS

Taking down existing EPU flooring with mechanical grinding machine, cleaning surfaces with vacuum cleaning using scrubbers, hard blowers, vacuum cleaners, etc., clearning the surfaces free from dust, dirt, paint, moisture, oil, grease, foreign material or any other previous treatment, filling cracks / pot holes with solvent free adhesive or repair by epoxy mortar complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for, Epoxy Poly Urethane (EPU) floor of approx 4mm thick with priming coat of 100 microns, base coat of average thickness of 2.5mm, sealer coat of thickness of 100 micron, top coat of thickness of 1.2mm and anti static coat (Carbon coat) including provision of self adhesive copper tape including treatment of expansion / construction joints below primer coat as per manufacturer's instruction and with the following complete all as specified and as directed. (i) Priming Coat :- (a) The prepared surface to be tested for moisture content for every 500 sqm with a minimum 5 reading to assess the average moisture content in the surface with moisture meter and same shall be less than 5%,. (b) Apply low viscous epoxy primer of thickness 100 micron, with resin and hardener in 2:1 ratio by volume with the help of Notch trowel, stiff brush of roller, etc. The primer should be tack free before application of screed coat. (ii) Screed Coat:- Screed coat shall be of an average thickness of 2.5mm which consists resin, hardener and FQ Sand in ratio of Resin + Hardener = 2.00 Itr and FQ sand 300=5 Kg. Mixing to be done correctly with an electric variable speed mixer throughly till homogeneous mixture is obtained. (iii) Top coat:- Apply a sealer coat of 100 microns thick after removing dust from screed coat if any. Thereafter, apply EPU finish of average thickness 1.2mm as top coat with glossy and smooth finish. The material for top coat shall be supplied in pre-weight packs and ready to mix and use The material shall consist of resin, hardener, formulated aggregate and EPl in the pre-weighed.

Material and labour for for providing ready mix paint, suitable for flooring on epxoy based flooring for markings borders, directions, etc., complete all a specifed and as directed.
