Levelling landscaping and uprooting of vegetation and clearing unwanted plants and entries and allied works in divisional office complex at Khellani

Clearing and grubbing of the site by uprooting shrubs, bushes, jungle growth, weeds, and other unwanted vegetation, including cutting and trimming of wild grass and clearing of all surface rubbish. The work comprises complete removal of root systems, disposal of all cleared organic debris outside the division complex footprint or to designated municipal dumping sites, and neat dressing of the cleared surface. All operations shall be performed in accordance with JKSOR 2.1.1 guidelines to provide a clean and unobstructed site area for subsequent grading, leveling, and horticultural Turf lawning operations, complete in all respects.

Earthwork in bulk manual excavation over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width as well as 10 m2 on plan) in all kinds of soil, finished true to line, level, grade, and dimensions as per approved site layout plans. The work comprises manual cutting of sloped contours, leveling of mounds, excavation for the gravity RRM retaining wall foundation pits, shoring and dewatering where required to maintain dry working pits, careful dressing of excavated sides, ramming of pit bottom, and separate stack-piling of useful excavated earth for backfilling. All operations comply with JKSOR 2.6.1 and local structural safety guidelines.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of mix 1:4:8 (1 cement: 4 coarse sand: 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size) under the gravity RRM retaining wall foundation base. The concrete is mixed mechanically and compacted thoroughly to form a level, stable load-bearing bed. Sized at 9.14 m length, 0.90 m width, and 0.15 m thickness, providing a stable base that protects the foundation masonry from moisture and soil movements

Construction of a gravity Retaining Wall in Coursed Rubble Stone Masonry (first sort) in cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement: 6 coarse sand) for slope stabilization and protection. The wall is built of hard, durable local stones sourced from approved quarries, laid in regular horizontal courses with proper bond stones (headers) at 1.5m spacing, complete with weep holes (75mm PVC pipes) at 1m horizontal and vertical intervals, and gravel packing/drainage backing behind the wall. Sized at 30 ft (9.14 m) length, 4 ft (1.22 m) exposed height, 1.52 m total height, and 0.70 m average thickness, designed to retain the office complex slope footprint against sliding and overturning

Filling available excavated earth in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth, including watering, ramming, consolidation, and dressing of the filled earth to achieve the required finished levels. The earth is compacted mechanically or manually to eliminate voids and prevent future settlement, providing a solid sub-base for Turf lawning and pathway grading

Turfing lawns with select grass sods of approved local variety (e.g. Bermuda or Rye grass), including preparation of ground by digging, cleaning of stones/weeds, spreading of organic manure/compost in a 50mm thick layer, mixing of soil, laying of healthy grass sods closely knitted together, light rolling, and continuous watering and weeding for a period of 30 days until the lawn is fully established. All operations conform to JKSOR 14.54 guidelines, ensuring a lush, green, undivided grass carpet.

Disposal of surplus excavated earth and organic debris by mechanical transport (tippers/trucks) including loading, unloading, and carriage up to a lead of 5 km outside the division office complex. All disposal operations must comply with state pollution control board regulations, ensuring no environmental contamination or blockages of natural drains,
