Horizontal direction drilling/boring without damage of road/rail using Auger Machine. 14 This includes track crossing also. The bore shall be 150 mm dia & shall be done at the depth of minimum 1200 mm from the ground level. The ground level shall be considered ignoring the bank height of the bank of the road/rail. The length of the bore shall be minimum 4 Mtrs long. this include insertion of different dia DWC pipe/ GI pipes coupling etc. as per direction of Engineer In charge.

Transportation and Laying of HDPE pipe as per approved cable route plan in the excavated trench, taking due care while transporting and laying the same in the trenches or other protective works. Both the end of duct should be sealed with end plugs before laying and should.

Supply of Optical Fiber Cable Termination Box for 6 fibers as per specification and splicing of fiber with low loss of pigtail cables. Splice losses in no case should be more than 0.1dB. Necessary 0dB connectors should be provided in OFC Termination Boxes.

Blowing of OFC through HDPE duct & protective work (elicited in above item) already 18 provided. Where it is not feasible to blow OFC due to curves, road/track crossings, bridges or for any other reason, OFC shall be drawn or laid manually as per standard procedure. All the equipments and machinery required shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. In case OFC is to be laid adopting 'Direct in trench' method then this item shall be paid as per accepted rate of this schedule..Blowing/Laying shall be started from one end and each drum laying shall be monitored after blowing/laying and before leaving the site. Trace/cable parameters for all the fiber/conductors shall be taken from one central location by contractor's engineer with his own OTDR /measuring equipments with railway engineer, trace/cable parameters for the fibers/conductors shall be taken on papers and signed jointly, if any fiber / conductors shows high loss event, the same shall be rectified before completion of work.

Installation of Unit Maintenance Free Earth to achieve a resistance less than 1 ohm as supplied. It includes- [i] Digging the earth to the required depth. [ii] Insertion of electrode. [iii] Filling of earth enhancing compound [Approx. 30 Kg] [iv] Provision of exothermic weld connections to copper tape of 25 mm x 6 mm x150 mm to the earth electrodes. All material tools and features required for weld will be arranged by contractor. [v] This also includes CC cover 1.5 ft x1.5 ft. 1 ft wall thickness 2inch with cover 3 inch thickness. Installation, testing & commissioning of back box of cameras.

Preparation of cable way 150mm wide at bottom and 200mm deep in rocky area/CC road/Platform and other CC/Stony location and refilling the same (after telecom Cable laying as well 24 as laying PVC pipe which shall be paid separately under different items of the schedule ) with concrete mixture of proportion 1:3:6 all along the trench done rocky area with contractor's own cement mixture, sand, water and other required materials and restoration of earth work as original with tiles/marvel/Granite etc.

Excavation of cable trench as per cable route plan, 1.2 Mtr. deep and of 0.3 Mtr. to 0.6 Mtrs wide advised by Engineer-in-charge along side the track in normal (all type) soil/strata, conforming to distances as per cable route plan and refilling. This work includes clearing of route 25 from bushes etc, covering of cable laid in trench by loose soil. The work shall be done as per the extant practice on Western Railway and instructions of Railway Engineer at site. In case 1m depth of trench is not achievable due to site conditions, specific approval of JA grade officer will be required for each site where trench depth of 1mis not possible. Without the approval of JA Grade officer, no payment for trenching will be made for trench depth less than 1.2m.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Media Converter fiber to Ethernet 100base T Single mode fiber with all required accessories including AC230V to DC Power adapter, as per Clause No. 16 of RDSO Specn RDSO/SPN/TC /65/2016(Rev.4.0) or latest.
