REPAIR/MAINT AND REPLACEMENT OF STREET LIGHTS, FLOOD LIGHTS, PERIMETER LIGHT, HIGH MAST LIGHT AND ALLIED ITEMS IN DOMESTIC AREA AT AF STN AMBALA UNDER GE (AF) AMBALA

Attending complaints of Repair/Maintaining of street light by disconnecting and Taking UP/down UNSV street /security light/flood fitting etc of any size /capacity /make/type from the pole, reparing of luminaire & cleaning the fitting internally and refixing the light fitting in original position on pole/sentry post/top of building including necessary electrical connection complete all specified and directed. Note:- (a) if any part required to be replaced, M&L of same item will be measured in items hereafter (b) The contractor's representative will report to concerened JE E/M at 0900 hrs daily to collect the list of defective street light fitting and will submit the report on the same day before 1730 hrs to JE E/M./AGE E/M (c) The contractor has to rectify the defects/reports and make the street light seviceable with in 72 hours from time the list of defective street lights is handed over to him/her rep by the concerened JE E/M.In case the street light is not made functional for whatsever reason with in the specified time line,an amount of Rs. 200/- per such defective street light per day will recovered from the amount due to him through RAR /Final Bill.The contractor shall be carry out repair/maint replace simultaneously both domestic area and tech area by engaging seperate team of electrician/technician in order to ensure properly & timely rectification of defects. (d) The contractor shall be fully responsible for the safety of his men engaged for executing this work and he will provide all requisite safety measures and clothing to his men. Department shall not be responsible for any mishappening/accident/injury to his men. (e) Vehicle and T&P will be arranged by the contractor.

S&F in replacement the following items:-

Driver 230 V suitable for 45/60/90/120 watts of existing make suitable of LED street light fitting complete all specified and directed.

Driver 230 V suitable for 70/120/250 watts of existing make suitable of LED Flood light fitting complete all specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m depth for laying of cable complete all specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5mtr wide and exceeding 1.5 mtr but not exceeding 3.0 mtr in depth; for foundation, laying/taking out pipes/cables etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. not exceeding 10sqm on plan and exceeding 1.5 mtr but not exceeding 3.0 mtr in depth and getting out, in soft/loose type of soil complete all specified and directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading leveling watering & well ramming in layer not exceeding 25 cm thick in soft/loose soil complete all specified and directed.

Removing of excavated surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtrs. And deposting at a place not exceeding 1.5 mtr specified wide above the starting point complete all specified and directed.

M&L for fine dry river sand cushioning by laying 8cm thick layer below the cable for making soft bed and 15cm above the cable and then punning down to its consolidated thickness of 18cm after the cable is laid all as specified in SSR Part-I complete all as specified and as directed Note: Only punned thickness of sand shall be considered for measurement purposes

M&L for brick protection cover of UG cable by old size bricks common burnt clay building bricks sub class `B’ laid dry and flat abutting each other with width equal to length of brick and gap between adjacent brick not exceeding 10mm complete all as specified and directed
