BOQ ( Sch A ) Electric works Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.50M wide and not exceeding 1.5M depth in hard/dense soil and getting out for laying pipes, cables etc and fitting including forming bottom surface to required level and slope complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, trenches including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm complete all as specified and directed.

Removing surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above starting point complete all as specified and directed..

Supply, laying, jointing and commissioning LT XLPE 1100 volts grade heavy duty cable PVC insulated, stranded aluminium conductor served with inner sheathing of PVC tape, armoured with GI steel or tape and over all PVC sheathing cross sectional area 240sqmm 3½ core laid in trenches, floor through pipes,in duct, on pole and roads etc including making good as per existing complete all as specified and directed. Note : 1. The cost of Al thimbles/lugs and cable gland etc is incl in quoted rate and no extra payment will be made for the same. 2. Excavation, earth work, sand cushioning and brick protection will be measured and paid separately under respective items

Material and labour for sand cushioning with a layer of fine sand 8 cm thick before laying the cable and 15 cm after laying the cable in trenches to cover under ground cable complete all as specified and directed. Note :-Punned down thickness of sand shall be considered for measurement)

Material and labour for brick protection to cable using old size class 'B' bricks, laid flat, dry butt jointed, laid lengthwise perpendicular to the axis of cable complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking out unserviceable LT cable of any type and size from pole/wall/trenches by disconnecting electric connections for repair / replacement of cable complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, fabricating and fixing cross arms (any type) supports, bracing, stiffener etc made out of MS channel, angle iron , flat iron of any size including drilling of holes, making clamps, eye hooks, nuts, bolts and washers etc, welding if required including painting with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide paint complete all as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Dismantling and taking down old unserviceable cross arms, bracings, stiffeners, support clamps, back plates, channels and angle iron of any section and any size and shape including nuts, bolts & washers complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for stringing, stretching and strengthening of overhead conductor (ACSR) on existing LT steel tubular pole including binding and jointing the conductor with and including 14 SWG binding wire and following sizes ACSR conductors: - (a) 6/1 X 2.59 mm aluminium and 1 X 2.59 mm steel (Weasel) (b) 6/1 X 3.00 mm aluminium and 1 X 3.00 mm steel (Ferret)

Dismantling / taking out old ACSR conductor / copper conductor / GI earth wire any size from existing overhead lines including disconnection complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing shackle type insulator, porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green insulator of size 75 mm height and 90 mm dia for working pressure of 1100 volts, LT complete with galvanised mild steel strap of size 31 X 3 mm / flat iron 50 X 6 mm ‘D’ clamp or ‘U’ clamp of suitable size and holding clamp, washers, insulator bolts of 12 mm dia, washers and nuts complete all as specified and directed.

Tightening / re-stringing of existing loose / broken ACSR conductor / copper conductor or any other type of conductor of any sizes and strengthening as required at site complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down old broken PVC separator from LT overhead line and Supply & Fixing in replacement plastic (moulded polypropylene) line phase separator (for separating 05 Nos. of over head line conductors of length 1200 mm) with 25 mm fly nuts and clamps suitable for 1100 volts grade LT electric lines of any size fixed with over head electric lines complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing / laying of galvanized iron pipe of 80 mm nominal bore light grade for cable protection, fixed to pole/ alongwall/ floor/ under road/ across the drain or nallaha etc with clamps nuts, bolts and washers complete all as specified and directed. Note : The cost of MS clamp, nut, bolt, washer and GI fittings etc shall be included in the item rate.

Supply and fixing / laying of galvanized iron pipe of 40 mm nominal bore light grade for cable protection, fixed to pole/ alongwall/ floor/ under road/ across the drain or nallaha etc with clamps nuts, bolts and washers complete all as specified and directed. Note : The cost of MS clamp, nut, bolt, washer and GI fittings etc shall be included in the item rate.

Material and labour for supply, transporting, erecting truly in vertical position and fixing of steel tubular pole swaged, over all length 9 metres, type 410 – SP – 31 complete with mild steel base plate, pole cap, finial taper plug, MS bolts, nuts & washers, necessary excavation & earthwork in hard / dense soil, PCC sub base block as mass concrete of size 600 X 600 X 150 mm in cement concrete 1:4:8 Type D-2 in base of foundation, PCC foundation block of size 600 X 600 X 1500 mm in cement concrete 1:3:6 Type C-2, pole plinth of size 600 X 600 X 300 mm in cement concrete 1:2:4 Type B-1 including necessary form work as required at site and painting of pole with two coats of anti corrosive black bituminous paint through out internally and externally upto planting depth (embedded in concrete) and remaining portion of the pole painted two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer on complete exposed surface including painting of 05 Nos. bands / strips of 30 cm wide each with two coats of synthetic enamel paint (black & yellow) at a distance of 30 cm from plinth block upto 1500 mm height and marking / sign writing of pole number and feeders locations of pole with thick synthetic enamel paint (white) complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing stay assembly comprising of GI stay bow 14mm dia, 40cm long, galvanised stay rod 20mm dia, 180cm long with threaded ends, GI nuts, bolts, washers, GI stay plate 23x23cmx6mm thick, 02 Nos of thimbles, MS clamps made out of 50x6mm flat iron and stay wire 7/3.15 SWG, stay clamp, loop insulator of size 65x95 mm clearance of hole 16mm complete including necessary excavation, earth work in hard dense soil and PCC 1:3:6 all as shown in electrical plate No. 01 of SSR-2009 part1 , complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing guard cradles, make to shape, hexagonal / rectangular or any other shape as required and directed, fabricated out of 4 mm dia GI wire including 14 SWG binding wire complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of existing stay assembly any type / size from its stay rod, cutting stay rod (above ground portion) dismantling of MS clamps, nut-bolts, stay bow, loop insulators, stay wire etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling / taking out of old LT steel tubular pole any type and any size from foundations including dismantling of concrete, MS clamps, nuts-bolts, earth wire, over head line conductors, insulators, guarding cradles and other accessories including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling / taking out old unserviceable insulator of any size / type from existing electric LT lines complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for earthing complete with galvanised earth plate electrode 600 X 600 X 6 mm thick burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 m below ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level, connected to galvanised earth lead wire 4 mm dia by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts & washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown on electrical plate No. 3 of MES schedule 2009, Part – I (Specifications) and connected to main switch board / main DB’s / earthing test point including all necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, adequate quantity of charcoal dust & common salt all around the earth plate minimum 150 mm in all directions with & including watering pipe 20 mm dia GI medium grade, GI funnel made out of 0.63 mm thick GI sheet, wire gauge, 50 mm thick RCC cover in PCC 1:2:4, type B-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate), duly reinforced with 6 mm dia mild steel round bars @ 150 mm both ways center to center with suitable lifting handle to cover, earth pit of PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate), GI protection pipe light grade 15 mm bore up to 7.5 m length from earth electrode & engraving of earth marking on nearby building with CM 1:4 plate size 200 X 150 X 15 mm & painting of earth result etc. including testing on complete all as specified and directed Note: - On testing after completion of job, if desired earth resistance is not obtained, the earthing shall be redone by the contractor without any extra cost to Govt.

(c) Platform for the panel with PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 with 40mm graded crushed stone , 15 cm thick in foundation, brick work in CM 1:6 with sub class `B', old size bricks, rendering 15mm thick in CM 1:6 on exposed surfaces and 100mm thick PCC padding 1:3:6, type C-1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate on top and grouting bolts etc for panel. The platform shall be such that it is of a height 45cm above the nearest road level. Note : (i) All out going feeders shall be connected by cable through suitable size gland plate / glands. (ii) The various feeders shall be indicated by 50 mm size letters in synthetic enamel white paint.
