Providing and laying damp proof course 50 mm thick with cement concrete 1 : 2 : 4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size).

Extra for providing and mixing water proofing material in cement concrete work in the proportion recommended by anufacturers.

Applying a coat of hot bitumen (mashphalte 80/100 or equivalent) using 1.70 Kg per Sq.m. on damp proof course after cleaning the surface with brushes and finally with a piece of cloth lightly soaked in kerosene oil.

15 mm cement plaster 1 : 4 (1 cement : 4 fine sand) on the rough side of single or half brick wall.

Applying one coat of cement primer of approved brand and manufacture on wall surface.

Finishing walls with water proofing cement paint of approved brand and manufacture and required shade on new work (three or more coats) to give an even shade.

Painting two or more coats with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture in black or chocolate shade on new work over and including an under coat of suitable shade with ordinary paint of approved quality to give an even shade.

Providing and fixing T-iron frames for doors, windows and ventilators of MS Tee sections joints mitred and welded with 15 x 3 mm legs, 10 cm long embedded in cement concrete block 15 cm x 10 cm x 10 cm size of 1 : 3 : 6 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand : 6 graded aggregate 20 mm nominal size) or with wooden plugs and screws or rawl plugs and screws or with fixing clips or bolt and nuts as required, including fixing of necessary butt hinges and screws and applying a priming coat of approved primer.

Providing polished granite tiles of approved quality, size and shape and thickness not less than 8mm, on walls over 15mm thick, cement mortar bed in prop. 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) including cutting where necessary, finished with flush pointing on wall with ordinary cement slurry mixed with approved pigment to match shade of tiles, complete at all levels as specified and directed.

Providing polished granite slab of approved quality, size, shape and thickness not less than 18 mm on floors, skirtings, treads and risers of steps over cement mortar bed 15 mm thick in prop. 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand ) including cutting where necessary finished with flush pointing with Fix-A-Tile Choksey/Sika/Pedelite/Rouf) /white cement slurry mixed with approved pigment to match the shade of granite slab, complete at all levels as specified and directed. (Cement plastering to be measured and paid separately). (Coloured pigment should be in conformity with colour of slab and as approved and directed by the Department).

Extra for nosing in steps of red or white, fine dressed and rubbed with sand stone.

HERITAGE FINISHING:-Supplying and laying of permanent wall finish for interior and exterior walls with surface coating of Heritage Surface Texture of Bakelite Hylam Limited for all types of buildings at all levels as specified and directed by the department.
