Special Repairs to Sewage Line, Manholes, Drain and Culverts at NORA, Visakhapatnam

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 10 Sq.m on plan area and not exceeding 1.5m deep in Soft / Loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 10 Sq.m on plan area and depth exceeding 1.5m but not exceeding 3.0m and getting out in hard / dense soil complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for PCC 1:3:6, Type C-2, using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in Foundation of Manholes complete all as specified and as directed.

Cleaning of existing Manholes of any cross section or any size in any condition [including foul condition] by removing Silt, Grit, Mud, Debris, Sludge deposits, Pebbles, Large Stones of any shape including bailing out of water by mechanical pump if required and deposited to a distance exceeding 1.5 KM and not exceeding 5 KM for smooth flow complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition and breaking up drain pipes [Salt glazed ware, AC or Reinforced concrete] of any diameter set in cement mortar complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Dry River Sand cushioning as bedding layer of 100 mm thick for DWC pipe protection in trenches, levelled and punned down complete all as specified and as directed. Note: The punned down thickness shall be measured for payment.

Supply and Laying of DWC structured wall polyethylene piping systems for non- pressure drainage and sewarage pipes with non smooth external surfaces and smooth internal surfaces, 150 mm inner dia in any length, Type-B, Stiffness class of pipes SN 8 complete all as per IS 16098 (Part-2): 2013, laid in trenches, jointed complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition of Brick / Stone Masonry built in Cement Mortar including all quoins arches pillars etc and removing rubbish to a distance not exceeding 1.50 KM complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for brick work with Fly Ash bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 m mean radius built in Cement Mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for rendering to brick / concrete surfaces, 15 mm thick in Cement Mortar 1:4, including mixing water proofing compound as per manufacturers instructions and finishing the top surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Water proofing compound will be measured and paid separately.

Supply only integral water proofing compound [ISI marked] of approved make.

M & L for providing RCC 1:2:4, Type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in Landings, Cover Slabs [for manholes etc], Chullah Hoods, Chajjas, Water Troughs, Mangers, Shelves and similar articles with plain faces set in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F Reinforcement using High Strength Corrosion Resistant Deformed TMT Bars of Grade Fe–500D of 6mm to 8mm dia, cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking, bending, spirally for hooping, hooking ends and binding with annealed mild steel wire not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips or welded complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Plain / Reinforced cement concrete Type B1 [Nominal Mix] 1:2:4 using 20mm graded stone aggregate cast in situ in lintels up to 1.5m span, Cills, steps, seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings up to 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating as directed including use and waste of form work, complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick of excavated soil complete all as specified and as directed. Note: A deduction of 10% shall be made from total computed volume of filling to cater in bulk irrespective of machinery used for ramming.

Removal of excavated material [Soil] to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Soling of spread thickness 200mm with broken boulders or quarried stones, interstices filled, surface formed and rolled with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity and consolidated to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for 150 mm thick [compacted thickness] [Two layers of 75mm thick each] Water Bound Macadam with coarse aggregate of Grading 2 [63 to 40mm size] spread, rolled with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity and consolidated to gradient and camber required complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Preparing surfaces of unsurfaced Water Bound Macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer at 10 KG per 10 Sq.m of paving bitumen and laying Bituminous Premixed Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete, 40 mm consolidated thickness, using paving bitumen of Grade VG – 30, with 5.5% of binder content by weight of total mix using Hot Mix Plant and Mechanical Paver, rolled and compacted with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity to required camber and gradient complete all as specified. Note: Minimum Bitumen content shall be 5.5% as specified here in above. Please note that if the actual quantity of bitumen to be incorporated on approval of Mix–Design is found more than the minimum bitumen content specified above, No price adjustment shall be made for actual bitumen content of Mix–Design. Bitumen shall be Paving Bitumen of Grade VG–30 and shall be procured by the contractor.

Dismantling of Cast Iron or reinforced concrete Drain Pipes, 200mm dia, jointed in cement mortar and taking out of trenches, if required complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Road Marking Strips, Lines, Dashes, Arrows, Letters etc of 2.5 mm thick [Reflective Type] of colour White or Golden Yellow on roads, pavements and the like exceeding 10cm wide with Hot Thermo Plast material by fully automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine, fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heaters and profile shoe heater, driven by skilled operator on road surface complete as per MOSRT & H specifications including cleaning the road surface of all dirt, scales, oil grease and foreign materials etc complete all as specified and as directed.
