Surface Dressing using Bitumen Emulsion Providing and laying surface dressing as wearing course consisting of a layer of bitumen emulsion laid on the prepared surface, followed by a cover of crushed stone chippings of specified size and rolling with 80-100 kN roller including cleaning the road surface as per Technical Specification Clause 507. Nominal aggregate size 13.2 mm

Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.25 to 0.30 kg per sqm on the prepared granular surfaces treated with primer & cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503.

Bituminous Macadam Providing and laying bituminous macadam with hot mix plant using crushed aggregates of grading as per Table 500.4 premixed with bituminous binder, transported to site upto a lead of 1000 m laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled to achieve the desired compaction as per Technical Specification Clause 504. (Bitumen VG-10 @ 3.3% of the weight of mix has been used for analysis purpose. The choice of bitumen will depend upon the prevailing site conditions and shall be in accordance with Clause 504 of MORD)

Providing and laying Semi Dense Bituminous Concrete with 100-120 TPH batch type HMP producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 4.5% of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MoRTH specification clause No. 508 complete in all respects Grading II - 10mm using VG - 10 bitumen

Excavation in foundation for retaining & brest walls in all types of soils and rocks including lead, lift and disposal of surplus material as per direction of engineer - in - charge

Random Rubble Masonary laid dry in breast wall, retaining wall, parapets, scupper etc. Including supply of all materials, labour, t & p & royalty etc, required for proper completion of work. (As per PWD Uttarakhand specifications)

Random Rubble Stone Masonry laid in 1:6 cement and sand cu.m mortar, in breast walls, retaining walls, parapets, scuppers, etc including supply of all material, labour, T&P and royaltiies etc.(As per PWD Uttarakhand specifications).

Providing edge stones on valley side of formation as per drawing and technical Specification. Note :- 1- Defect Laibilty Period for work done will be 3 Years after actual date of complition. 2- Maintenance to be done by contractor for 3 years after actual date of complition of work for which Payment will be made 0.5% for Ist year, 1.0% for 2nd years & 1.50% for 3rd year over final cost of work done. Maintenance will be done as per maintenance manual of PWD Uttarakhand and relevant code and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge such as (i) Trimming of grass and weeds from the shoulders/berms and disposing off the same to suitable locations. (ii) Maintenance of road side drains including minor slip/malba clearence, reshaping, deepening and regrading as well as catch water drains. (iii) Maintenance of shoulders to the required level by filling/cutting the soil and its compacting including disposal of the surplus material in approved muck disposal point. (iv) Maintenance of scuppers, Causeway & culverts by way of clearing, cleaning, Erosion repair, repairs to cracks, parapet walls and protection works. (v) Maintenance of road signs by way of cleaning and repainting. (vi) maintenance of 200 Metre Hectometer stone, Km stone and 5th km stone by way of refixing of tilted stones, repairing with cement motar, painting and lettering. (vii) Repairing of pot holes and patches with same material for construction or as per direction for Engineer-in charge.
