Polymer coated wire mesh, when subjected to neutral salt spray test in accordance with ISO 9227, after 10,000 hours of exposure the mesh should not exhibit more than 5% Dark Brown Rust (DBR) and polymer should be resistant to abrasion after 300 cycles and shall not expose metal wire in accordance with the procedure described in ASTM A 975. Mechanically edged/selvedged with partitions at every 1m interval and shall have minimum 10 numbers of openings per meter of mesh perpendicular to twist, tying with lacing wire of diameter 2.2/3.2mm(ID/OD), supplied @3% by weight of Gabion boxes, as per directions of Engineer in charge.

Mechanically edged/selvedged, with pleated partition at 1 m interval , with prefabricated vertical ties, tying with lacing wire of diameter 2.2/3.2 mm (ID/OD), placing at indicated places in dry condition at easily accessible location as per direction of Engineer including tools, plant, labour etc. complete in all respect, carrying the material from nearest approach with all leads & lifts, manpower & machinery, materials, labor etc. complete as per detailed technical specifications and as directed by Officer Commanding. Minimum Tensile strength 37 Kn/m & punch strength 21 Kn as per IRC 116, IS 16014 & Morth specification for road & bridge works, Section 2500 and and using Boulders of suitable size tying with lacing wires, placing of geotextile at the back side etc. as directed by engineer in charge.

Roadwork

3.16:Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of table 300-2.

4.1.B.1:Construction of granular sub-base by providing graded material, spreading in uniform layers with a motor grader on a prepared surface, mixing by mix in-place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with a vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per clause 401. Grading-V - For sub-base cum drainage layer - Mix in Place Method

55.4:Supplying and stacking 36mm size hard broken stone in standard heaps for measurement.

55.7.a:Providing bitumen leveling coarse between 40mm and 150mm with 36mm deptl metal by spreading the metal to line and levels and rolling until the compacted coarse aggregate has a firm surface and applying hot bitumen with pressure sprayer at the rate of 20 Kg per M3 metal including all cost of bitumen conveyance heating mixing spreading in appropriate locations to proper levels compacting with power roler and other sundry stores.

5.2.a:Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion( RS) using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.20 - 0.30 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous surface cleaned with mechanical broom.

5.7.1:Providing, laying and rolling of close-graded premix surfacing material of 20 mm thickness composed of 11.2 mm to 0.09 mm (Type-A) aggregates using viscosity grade bitumen ( VG - 30) to the required line, grade, and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable HMP of appropriate capacity not less than 75 tonnes/hour., laying and rolling with a Smooth wheeled roller 8-10 tonne capacity, and finishing to the required level and grade.

55.38a:Providing and erecting a "W" metal beam crash barrier comprising of 3 mm thick corrugated sheet metal beam rail, 70 cm above road/ground level, fixed on Structural Steel c section vertical post, 150 x 75 x 5 mm spaced 2 m centre to centre, 1.8 m high, 1.1 m below ground/road level, all steel parts and fitments to be galvanised by hot dip process, all fittings to conform to IS:1367 and IS:1364, metal beam rail to be fixed on the vertical post with a spacer of structural steel c section 150 x 75 x 5 mm, 330 mm long complete as per clause 811.3.
