Taking down, disconnecting the power supply carefully by deployment of skilled manpower from existing energy meter by carefully opening electric connection from terminal including removing of metal box/polycarbonate box and depositing to MES store for safe custody, cementing/plastering the damaged wall surface and colouring as match with existing colour . Also ensure to capture the final reading/reading remark from the meters being removed from wall and providing the same to MES for final settlement , complete all as specified and directed.

Design, Installation, Testing, Commissioning including Integration and Maintenance of the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) with procurement of all necessary software, programming licenses, and documentation with having specifications and comprising of following :- Note: The payment of this part of item shall be made as per Sl No 1 to 6 of the payment Schedule mentioned in the Table at Note no 17 of Schedule A notes on Srl page 27(R)

Perform site survey and prepare design proposal for deciding the communication technology to ensure data availability of all the consumers.

Supply, Installation, Testing, Commissioning of Smart Meters of different makes (not more than 33 % of a particular make to ensure interchangeability at a later date as per BIS 16444 with communication modules having GPRS (3G/4G/5G)/RF (Mesh Network) or Hybrid (RF+GPRS {(3G/4G/5G)} or any other advanced technology as per CEA/TRAI regulations as mentioned below:- (i) Single Phase smart meter of rating 10-60 Amp based on RF (Mesh Network)/GPRS (3G/4G/5G) communication- 2148 Nos (with 33% of each make) (ii) Three Phase smart meter of rating 10-60 Amp based on RF(Mesh Network)/GPRS (3G/4G/5G) communication-302 Nos (with 33% of each make) (iii) All Meters must be fixed with polycarbonate meter box of suitable IP protection grade, the quoted rate deemed to include procurement and fixing of meter boxes.

Supply/ planning/setup/ tuning of RF communication infrastructure including meter data management & Head End System (HES) for the project area. AMI software and associated equipment’s should be capable of handing at-least 2450 Number (cellular communication) of meters of different makes as per BIS 16444 with 25% expansion for each station without any additional infrastructure and cost implementation to the dept. Software/infrastructure must be compatible for installation of additional smart meter in existing system along with their integration with the installed system in future. It shall support occupation/vacation, meter replacement, personal details update on email to user/staff. Bank details of GE and payment gateway would be integrated with the software and also calculation of refund on vacation of quarter. Software would adopt meters and system of minimum three different makes conforming with IS 16444. Software would compatible for both pre-paid and postpaid billing plans as per requirement including user friendly app (Android & IOs) for Smart Phone. RF gateway shall be compatible with atleast 03 different makes of smart meter

Supply and set-up of Meter Data Management (MDM) system.

Integration of different devices of different makes/ equipments/software covered in scope of this project with each other as per functional requirements, including water charges, furniture and license fee.

Integration / Interface of the AMI system with application systems like metering / billing / collection. Interface has to be provided in the proposed solution to upload and process meter data from these systems.

Server for housing and management of supplied software application with standby server.

Planning, deployment and tuning of communication system including cellular network (if required) to meet the performance requirements.

Business intelligence, Analytics and Reporting.

Return of Dismantled materials to MES stores

Training knowledge transfer.

All expenditure including periodic charges of telecom, operator from installation till completion.

Note:- (a) Audit of software for smart meters shall be done by CERT-India empanelled firm / CERT auditor of Armed Forces. The cost of the audit shall be born by contractor. (b) Taking down carefully existing unserviceable energy meters and shall be deposited to MES yard by the contractor and shall be paid under Item No 01. No other extra payment shall be admissible on this ground.

Bidder may go through the details for design of system as per PS and E-in-C’s Branch policy No. 12/2023 alongwith other details /policies as per CEA/TRAI/NSGM.

Comprehensive operation and maintenance of system including project implementation and management, all expenditure including periodic charges of telecom operator, smart meter billing and maintenance after completion of defect liability period till completion for 8 years complete all as specified and directed Note: The payment of this part of item shall be made as per Sl No 8 of the payment Schedule mentioned in the Table at Note no 17 of Schedule A notes on Srl page 27(R)

Supply and fixing Single Phase smart meter of rating 10-60 Amp based on RF (Mesh Network)/GPRS (3G/4G/5G) communication with polycarbonate meter box all as described in above item No 02 Note: This item pertains for adjustment of rate only in case of variation as explained below

Note for item no 2.26 & 2.27 above :- In case of any variation in quantity of number of meters beyond the limit as mentioned in above item no 2.02 & 2.03, the price adjustment of numbers of meters (Plus/Minus) shall be done at the rate of Item no 2.26 & 2.27, however cost of installation, integration of additional meters and its services shall be deemed to be included in rate quoted for Ser Item No 2.00 to 2.25. Hence the bidder shall offer the rate accordingly
