Erection, Installation and Commissioning of 62.5 KVA DG SET at CHC, Vadavucode under CSR Scheme of FACT.

Loading the DG set from FACT Cochin Division store, transportation to CHC Vadavucode, unloading at CHC, leading , safe handling and storing of DG set at CHC. Erection and fixing of the DG set on the pre-casted cement concrete bed etc. Truck for transportation, crane, tools & tackles etc. required for unloading the DG set at CHC shall be arranged by contractor. Fastners, nuts , bolts, washers etc required for completing the work shall be supplied by the contractor. Crane for loading at FACT CD premises arranged by the FACT free of cost subject to availability of crane.

Extension of exhaust pipe. The scope of work includes connecting and extending the exhaust pipe as per the relevant standards. supplying and fixing 'B class' MS ERW pipes, as per manufacturer specification from the Generator silencer. A rain cap with loose grill shall be provided over the pipe’s mouth. The exhaust pipes shall be properly supported and secured. The exhaust piping should be connected via a flexible joint located on the engine exhaust outlet. All the piping and the erection shall be complied with statutory authorities obligations.

Concrete bed/foundation preperation for 62.5KVA DG set. The scope of work includes casting of bed ( size 3400mm x 1800mm x 300mm as per relevant standard Concrete mixure of 1:2:4 ratio, surface finishing. Supply of cement, sand, 20mm aggregate, 8mm bar (20cm x 20cm mesh, edge with bend up 20 cm height), shutter and etc..complete for the above shall be supplied by the contractor.

Supply and erection of pipe for earth electrode as per I.S. 3043 / 2018 and IS 732:2019. The scope of work also includes making earth pit, laying earth electrode & earthing compound, providing suitable earth connection clamps, pit chamber and supplying its cast iron cover etc. Complete.

Termination of earth cables/strips. The scope of work shall include termination of all earth connections to electrodes, benches, glands, and electrics etc. Complete. All materials required for the work including lugs, earth benches, fastners, hardwares, etc. shall be supplied by the contractor.

Supply of 650 Volt grade, 1c X 35 sqmm, PVC Insulated, Unarmoured Aluminium earthing cable as per IS 694, with latest amendments and with ISI marking & Cable length to be marked on every 5 Meters on the outer sheath.

Supply of 650 Volt grade, 1c X 25 sqmm, PVC Insulated, Unarmoured Aluminium earthing cable as per IS 694, with latest amendments and with ISI marking & Cable length to be marked on every 5 Meters on the outer sheath.

Laying of 1c x 35 sqmm, PVC Insulated, Unarmoured Aluminium earthing cable for body and nutral earthing of DG set as per relavant standards. The scope of work also includes trenching and back filling, drilling,cutting, minor civil works etc. All the materials required for the work shall be supplied by the contractor.

Supply of 650/1100 V, Aluminium conductor, 4c x 50 sqmm AYFY (FRLS), Flat Steel armoured aluminium Cable conforming to IS 1554/Part I of 1988 or IS 7098 Part I, with latest amendments and with Cable length & ISI marking, to be marked on every 5 Meters on the outer Sheath of the Cable.

Supply of 650/1100 V, Aluminium conductor, 4c x 16 sqmm AYFY (FRLS), Flat Steel armoured aluminium Cable conforming to IS 1554/Part I of 1988 or IS 7098 Part I, with latest amendments and with Cable length & ISI marking, to be marked on every 5 Meters on the outer Sheath of the Cable.

Laying and combined clamping of power cables of size 4c x 50 sq. mm. and earthing cable of size 1c x 25sq.mm 2R each. The scope of work includes trenching, back filling and laying of cables through walls,floors, trenches,risers , cable trays, dressing, tagging, clamping at regular intervals with aluminium clamps not exceeding 500 mm, drilling, Chipping, breaking, sand removal and minor civil work. All materials, hardwares, stainless steel screws, tools required for the same etc complete shall be supplied by the contractor.

Laying and clamping of power cable of size 4c x 16 sq.mm. The scope of work includes laying of cables through walls,floors , trenches, risers, cable trays, dressing, tagging , clamping at regular intervals with aluminium clampsnot exceeding 500 mm,drilling , Chipping, breaking, sand removal and minor civil work. All materials, hardwares, stainless steel screw , tools required for the same etc complete shall be supplied by the contractor.

Glanding and termination of power cables of size 4c x 50 sq.mm. The scope of work includes glanding , termination and connection of cables with suitable cable entry boxes, cable lugs, ferrules, arranging and dressing the leads / cables and clamping/tying to supports etc. The Nickel plated Brass Single Compression type cable gland, with ring, rubber bush, lock nut etc. suitable for the cable shall be supplied by the contractor

Supply, erection and commissioning of Vertical Distribution Board (VDB, double door, IP52 or above) with accessories as per the following details. Type : Surface mounting, Double door, 3 phase 4 way with neutral bus and earth bus. Incomer 125A MCCB, 4P -1No, Outgoing 63A,3P, MCB -2No, 32A,1P,MCB-3nos, MCB blank plate- as required Busbar100A/phase, fully insulated.

Supply, fixing, connecting and commissioning of metering board with following provision and accessories. Provision for fixing CT-3nos, 3phaseKWH meter-1No, and 100A, MCCB-1no, Double earthing etc. The scope also includes supply and installation of 63Amp cutout fuse-3nos and 100A, 4p MCCB-1No.

Liasoning with statutory authorities including PWD/Electrical Inspectorate, preparing necessary/statutory drawings and submitting documents to the department. The contractor shall acquire scheme approval, arrange site visit, energisation order from the competent authority. All expenses including statutory fees in this regard shall be paid by the contractor itself.

Commissioning and handing over of DG set. The scope of work include supply of Diesel 50L, Coolant, water etc. required for smooth running of DG set, DG starting, testing and commissioning in all aspects.
