Construction of Ring Road Gate Side Boundary Wall at New Campus

Amount

Earthwork : Excavation in all types of soils for foundations, including backfilling the sides in stages of 300mm and compacting and disposing surplus earth outside the campus as directed, all completed as directed and as per specifications and including shoring and strutting of sides as required. The rates shall include excavation, loading, transporting and unloading the excavated material. Actual excavated volume to be measured and paid.

Plain concrete work in (1:2:4) : Providing and laying, machine mixed, properly compacted plain concrete 100mm thick in foundation trench including ramming, consolidating, curing etc. All complete as per specifications.

Brick masonary work : Up to ground level: Providing and laying brick masonry work 450mm and 350 mm thickness with first quality approved bricks in cement mortar 1:4 (1cement: 4coarse sand) in true line level and plumb for wall foundation, pedestals, compound wall, steps, pillars etc. curing etc. complete as directed and specified. Filling joints with cement sand mortar. (Refer annex-I for typical drawing)

Exposed brick masonary : Above ground level: Providing and laying brick masonry work 230 mm thickness by using first quality approved bricks in cement mortar 1:4 (1cement: 4coarse sand) in true line, level and plumb for walls, pillars and other similar locations etc. including racking the joints upto 20 mm depth, rubbing and cleaning the surface, with curing etc. complete as directed and specified. (Matching to existing IIMA buildings). It includes providing 100mm diameter grey PVC pipe as a weep holes-2nos per wall pannel wherever inner ground level is above road foothpath level. Expansion joints to be maintained as existing and as directed by EIC. (Refer annex-I for typical drawing)

Flush pointing : Providing cement flush pointing in CM (1:2) proportion. (Matching to existing IIMA buildings.

Cast in-situ piles : Providing, driving and installing driven cast-in-situ reinforced cement concrete 230 mm dia piles in proportion (1:1.5:3) of 230 mm diameter and 9 feet in length below the pile cap, to carry safe working load, excluding the cost of steel reinforcement but including the cost of shoe and the length of pile to be embedded in the pile cap etc. all complete. (Length of pile for payment shall be measured from top of shoe to the bottom of pile cap) It includes casting sufficient cube sets (minimum 9 nos) and testing in the approved laboratory for verifying the concrete uniformity & strength. (Refer annex-I for typical drawing)

Reinforced concrete work in (1:1.5:3) : Providing and laying, machine mixed, properly compacted RCC in footing, tie beam, column & pile cap including ramming, consolidating, curing etc. All complete as per specifications. (Excluding cost of formwork and reinforcement) Expansion joints to be maintained as directed by EIC. (Refer annex-J for typical drawing)

Reinforcement work (HYSD FE-500) : Providing, fabricating and placing in position reinforcing bars, including binding with annealed GI binding wire for R.C elements, wastages, spacers, cover block (25mm for beam, 40mm for column & 50mm for footing), etc. all complete for all diameters and as per specifications. (Refer annex-J for typical drawing)

Providing & fixing MS circular grating : Providing & fixing mild steel gratings of size 15” in diameter at the bottom of wall as per the existing and as required by EIC. It inclused one coat of yellow zinc primer and two coats of approved enamel paint.

Exposed finished formwork : Formwork concrete element such as columns etc. with definite pattern as directed. Plywood with polyurethane coating is must. Actual exposed surface area shall be measured and paid.

Rough finished formwork : Formwork concrete element such footing pile cap & beam etc. with definite pattern as directed. Actual surface area shall be measured and paid.

Dismanteling Kota flooring & pavers : Carefully Dismantling / Removal : The debris needs to be transported outside the campus as directed by the Engineer and No extra tractor trips to be provided. It includes cutting the kota stone as per the requirement and remove that much portion. Pavers to be reused.

Dismanteling 150mm thick RCC : Carefully dismantling reinforced cement concrete & the debris needs to be transported outside the campus as directed by the Engineer and No extra tractor trips to be provided. It includes cutting the steel bars and shifting it to the scrap yard in main campus as directed.

Dismanteling 150mm thick PCC : Carefully dismantling plain cement concrete & the debris needs to be transported outside the campus as directed by the Engineer and No extra tractor trips to be provided.

Kota stone flooring : Providing & laying 25 mm to 32 mm thick green kota stone flooring around the new wall of uniform thickness and size as per existing pattern & engineer in charge's direction over average 35 mm thick CM bedding 1:8, rubbing the edges & filling joints with cement slurry pigmented to match the shade of the slabs, including curing rubbing etc. at all levels as directed & specified.

Re-fixing existing pavers : Re-fixing existing pavers around new wall including, 50 to 75 mm sand bedding, etc. as directed.
