REPAIR/REWINDING OF 3.15 MVA POWER TRANSFORMER AND INCLUDING OTHER CONNECTED ACCESSORIES AT DEF LAB JODHPUR

M& L for disconnecting carefully electrical connection from HT/LT sides of the transformer keeping them at safe side and taking out the transformer outdoor type 3.15 MVA, 33 /11KV step down any make carrying out complete overhauling which shall complete of the following :- (a) Material & Labour for lifting, transporting, handling the transformer to workshop and opening top cover of the transformer by unscrewing nuts, bolts,washers etc including disconnecting core assy from HT/LT bushing and lifting the same gently and taking out from the shell (container/body) of the transformer.(b) M&L for draining out transformer oil from the above said transformer in the suitable capacity of container. (c) M&L for cleaning of the transformer body from inside, removing deposited dirt/sludge/foreign particles etc from the bottom/body of the transformer and drying/heating up the shell from inside before refilling of the new transformer oil. (d) Cleaning/washing through core and windings of the tansformer by hosing down with clean dry oil conforming IS 335/983,removing deposited dirt sludge/foreign particles from the windings/core and revarnishing of the windings with super varnish including heating/drying/packing complete carefully and throughly inside the heating chamber at suitable temperature to obtained required value of insulation resistance etc all as per IS and directed by Engr-in-charge (e) Lifting and refixing core assy inside the transformer shell gently and carefully,connecting of HT/LT/Neutral connections to the bushings assy,fixing of the tap change over incl tightenting of nut,bolts,washers of the core to reduce humming noise all as directed. (f) Refixing the top cover including cork sheet/gasket ,tightenting of nut bolt,washers etc all as directed by Engr-In-Charge.(g) Checking and Testing of complete Buchhoz relay. (h) Lifting/shifting to the place from where removed and reinstalling the transformer including connecting HT/LT/Neutral/Earthing connections etc all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (j) Any damage to insulator/bushes/ windings etc while in the custody of the contractor or during the transportation shall be made good at no extra cost to govt.The serviceability of the transformer shall be checked and confirmed by the contractor before taking into his custody. (k) Rewinding of super enamel copper conductor of HT/LT coil will be paid seperately under relevant item of sch.

Supply and replacement of HT/LT coils made out of super enameled copper winding wire of transformers capacity 3.15 MVA. (Note:- The coil to be replaced shall have same number of turns, gauge, insulation value matching with manufacture, design)

Supply and replacement of HV/LV bushing for insulator suitable for outdoor type 3.15 MVA transformer complete with brass stud,brass nuts, brass cup and packing gasket complete all as spd and directed,

Supply and replacement of HV Metal Parts suitable for outdoor type 3.15 MVA transformer complete with brass stud,brass nuts, brass cup and packing gasket complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge

Supply and replacement of LV Metal Parts suitable for outdoor type 3.15 MVA transformer complete with brass stud,brass nuts, brass cup and packing gasket complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge

Supply and replacement of gasket for corksheet suitable for trasformer 3.15 MVA complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and topping up transformer oil of approved quality ISI marked for filling in transformer complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- (i) The rates quoted by the contractor deemed to include changing and testing for dielectric strength.

Supply and fixing of Tap Changer suitable for 3.15 MVA Transformer complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and replacement transformer breather complete with silcagel for capacity 3.15 MVA complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge

Supply and fixing of WTI & OTI Meter suitable for 3.15 MVA Transformer complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing of Temperature Gauge Meter suitable for 3.15 MVA Transformer complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L Earthing complete with copper plate 60cm x 60cm x 3.15mm thick electrode buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metre deep below ground level) with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level connected to 20 x 3 mm copper strip as earthing lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-I connected to main switch board or main control board all as specified and testing on completion including provision of earth strip protected by galvanized iron 40 mm dia light grade pipe and watering pipe shall be 20 mm bore light grade including all excavation and earth work in any type of soil, PCC pit with pre-cast RCC cover, charcoal/salt, funnel etc including taking out old un-serviceable earthing, complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: (i) The concrete pit shall be PCC 1:3:6 type C-1, 40mm thick pre-cast cover slab of RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate, reinforced with 8mm TMT bars @ 10 cm c/c on both sides with suitable cast iron handle shall be provided in lieu of cast iron cover shown in electrical plate No. 3 of MES SSR Part-I., (ii) Item includes the cost of GI pipe up to 7.5m for protection of earth strip and 32X6 mm GI strip up to 7.50 m length (iii) PCC pit shall be provided at least 500 mm away from the pit and not on the earth pit itself and the extra cost of additional length of watering pipe, bends, elbow etc shall be deemed included in the unit rate.
