Maintenance of Intercom Telephone Network at HWBF, Talcher

Fixing of PVC conduit/ Casing capping of required size upto 25mm on surface including joints, bent, reducer etc. as per requirement during telephone wiring.(Supply of PVC conduit/ Casing capping is under dept.'s scope).

Wiring with telephone wire of size upto 5 pair in PVC conduit/casing caping as reqd. including end termination (supply of PVC conduit/casing caping, wire in dept. scope).

Repairing, attending complains against each telephone connections of telephone network system including identifying fault and replacement of defective components such as telephone set, line cord, Rosette box etc. if required (Supply of spare material is in department's scope). Shifting spare material from site store to work site is in contractor's scope.

Quarterly maintenance of Telephone juntion boxes includes cleaning, checking, review/ relist of numbers allotted at each crone position, cable tag verification etc.

Maintenance of Telephone sets includes internal body cleaning of set, minor repairing if any, connection checking and funtional checking etc.

Painting of the surface of Telephone JBs with one coat of primer and two coats of synthetic enamel annually. Scope of work also includes painting of nunbers on JB. (Only primer,Thinner and paint will be supplied by department)

Supply of jointing kit and jointing of telephone cable of following size as when required.

Supply of 5pair PIJF cable straight through Jointing Kit including jelly crimp connectors make :3M / Raychem

Supply of 20 pair PIJF cable straight through Jointing Kit including jelly crimp connectors make :3M / Raychem

Supply of 50 pair PIJF cable straight through Jointing Kit including jelly crimp connectors make :3M / Raychem

Jointing of PIJFcable up to 50 pair

Excavation of Earth (ordinary rock) by manual not exceeding 1.5m depth including back filling of earth as when required.

Providing of Cement concrete 1:3:6 (1 cement, 3 sand, 6 graded stone aggreegate of 40 mm nominal size.) as when required.

Digging of earth of depth 900mm and wide 600 mm and removal PIJF cable upto 50 pair from trench for fault identifying.

Laying of PIJF cable upto 50 pair including drawing of cable from Store yard, shifting to work site, filling of sand, dressing, brick protection from top, refilling with sand and earth in a common trench (trench making will cover in other item.). The work includes making the road as good as before where cutting of road is required.
