MAINTENANCE/REPAIR OF CIVIL STRUCTURE AND FLOORING OF 09 JETTY AT NAVAL DOCKYARD VISAKHAPATNAM UNDER GE (I) (DM) VISAKHAPATNAM

M&L for removing the existing damaged, peeled out floor treatment of any description (20mm average thickness) by mechanical/ hand tools to expose the concrete surface and disposal of the rubbish from the Naval dock yard complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for surface preparation of the existing rough surface of concrete (after removal of existing flooring under item No 1 above) by means of mechanical grinding to achieve a rough, coherent substrate having an excellent anchor profile, removing all the loose particles, dirt, etc., clean with high pressure water jet and allow it to dry complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for crack repairs by widening the cracks 0.25mm to 9mm wide, groove cutting to V shape in existing jetty slabs, cleaning out by removing loose particles by mechanical blower and application of Epoxy based primer Nitoprime 25 to the groove and allow it to dry and application of Epoxy putty Nito VF in the prepared groove after complete drying of the applied primer complete all as specified and as directed. [Make : Nitoprime 25 of Fosroc or E-in-C make as approved by GE.

M&L for fixing injection grouting nozzle of suitable size and injecting grouting material, low viscosity epoxy based grouting material Conbextra EP10 or equivalent chemicals manufactured by Sika India Pvt Ltd / Choksey Chemicals Pvt. Lt M/S Mapei Const Product India PVT LtdM?S Thermax Ltd/ M/S STP / M/S Dr Sunanada / M/S BASF in to the cracks with pressure of 40 psi mechanically including sealing the hole complete all as specified and directed. Note: The rate quoted by the contractor is including Conbextra EP10 epoxy grouting material.

M&L for patch repair in concrete surfaces of depth more than 20mm with shrinkage controlled polymer modified fibre reinforced Cementitious patch repair mortar Renderoc SP40 of Fosroc make having a compressive strength of 45 Mpa over a coat of Nitobond SBR on the base surfaces includung taking out the old concrete complete all as specified and as directed. Note : 25 Kg of Renderoc SP40 bag ready to use at site by mixing with water at 4.25 Ltr per bag shall be used for patch repairs in concrete. Make : Renderoc SP40 of Fosroc or E-in-C make as approved by GE.

M&L for application of bonding coat on the prepared old concrete surfaces of the jetty with two component epoxy based bonding agent Nitobond EP of Fosroc make for laying 20mm thick Cementitious flooring system all as specified and as directed. Make : Nitobond EP of Fosroc or E-in-C make as approved by GE.

M&L for 20mm thick cementitious flooring system after application of epoxy based bonding agent on the prepared jetty floor with Nitoflor Levelcrete of Fosroc make having a compressive strength of 40Mpa. The pre-pack 20Kg Nitoflor Levelcrete bag shall be mixed with 4Ltr of water as per manufacturers instructions and thoroughly mixed by mechanical means for application on the floor complete all as specified and as directed. Make : Nitoflor Levelcrete of Fosroc or E-in-C make as approved by GE.

M&L for preparation of construction joint grooves of size 25 mm X 20 mm, application of primer to the groove, inserting breaker rod in the groove and finally sealing the groove with with Polyuretheane based flooring sealent Colpor 200 of Fosroc make and finishing complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of surfaces of vertical concrete surfaces of jetty on sea side wall by mechanical scaryfying for key ( partly under sea water during high tide times), removing all loose particles, laitance, oil, greese, sea weed etc., before application of levelling putty complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for application of single component, polymer modified, cementitious mortar of Rendroc FC (M/s Fosroc) or techno commercial equivalent filler for minor surface imperfections of average thickness 3mm complete all as specified and as directed .

M&L for application of high performance aliphatic acrylate based protective and decorative coating on vertical concrete surfaces of jetty sea face wall with two coats of Deck guard 'S' of Fosroc, 2.85 Sqm per one Ltr (300 microns thick ) over a coat of Deckguard primer @ 2.5 Sqm per one Ltr complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling structural steel work of any description including doors, railing, gates, trusses complete all as specified and directed.

S & F for rolled mild steel plain or chequred plates confirming to Fe-290, Gde E-165 welded, riveted, bolted attachment to supporting structure of capstan, duct covers, valve pit access platform and working in a confined area including making good the disturbed portion of concrete surfaces with 1:1 1/2 :3 type A0 using 12.5mm stone aggregate complete all as specified and directed.

S & F structural steel framed work such as angle, channel, I beams, etc cut to shape, including bending and welding angles as necessary confirming to Fe-290, Gde E-165 as in supporting structure of valley gutters, duct covers, platforms (0 to -15m level) and capstan, ladders framed balusters, walk ways, railings, cable duct covers, lifting arrengements with pulleys, nosing angle and similar works; including making good the disturbed portion of concrete surfaces with 1:1 1/2 :3 type A0 using 12.5mm stone aggregate complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for painting of new / old steel surface of any description over 10cm width or girth and followed by application of paint scheme complete all as specified and directed. (i) One coat of primer (Dft. 1 x 50) epoxy zinc rich primer 50±5 microns (ii) 02 coats of Anti corrosive (Dft 2 x 150) (iii) 02 coats of coal tar epoxy paint Make :- Akzo Nobel/Jotun/Sigma/Asian
