Design & Construction of 100 K.L. capacity 15 M staging R.C.C. circular over head tank (column bracing type) with cost of all labour material & T&P required for completion of work at site, as per contractor's Design and Drawing (Complete) based on stresses as given in concerning latest I.S. code in I.S. specification (1893-1975) or latest relevant amendments for Zone IV & considering the bearing capacity of soil as 10T/ M2. The minimum depth of foundation is to be kept as 2.00 M the cost must also include the follwing items,

Excavation of earth for foundation including refilling, ramming and disposal of surplus earth.

1 M wide R.C.C. spiral stair case around the staging with R.C.C. landing from ground level to top dome as per standard specifications along with two rows of 20 mm dia G.I. pipe medium quality railing on both sides supported with R.C.C. post or 50x50x6mm M.S. angle iron posts 1 m. high. The stair case will be closed by a M.S. gate with jali as per direction of Engineer in charge at the ground level & at the top as well.complete

Balcony will be 1 m. wide haiving two rows of 20mm dia G.I. medium pipe railing supported with R.C.C. posts or 50x50x6 mm M.S. angle iron posts 1 m high at 2 M interval along the periphery of the balcony and around the top dome

M.S. ladder from top of the dome to the bottom of the inside of container having size of 50x50x6 mm M.S. angle iron and Alonwith a M.S. manhole cover of 60x60 cm with locking arrangement.

Lightning conductor along with all eathing arrangements as per Indian Electricity Rules complete in all respect.

Water level indicator along with floating valve, chain pully marked scale complete in all respect.

The rates should included supply laying, jointing and fixing of G.I. pipes class B & valves for inlet outlet, overflow & washout including jointing materials such as rubber packing nut bolts, various, clamps, T&P for fixing on the approval of these material by Engineer in charge and as per design.

Ventilator of 120 mm supported with R.C.C. columns & expended metal & wire net all around with R.C.C. roof complete in all respect, as per the direction of the Engineer in charge.

Painting 2 coats with approved shade of snowcem. (I.S.I marked) over white cement primar all over head tank, inside the tank 2 coats of cement wash will be provided.

Painting 2 coats with approved quality and shade of paint of G.I. pipe (used for railing), fitting & M.S. angle irons M.S. gate, M.S. M.H. cover, M.S. ladder etc. Over a primer coat of red oxide, CID/F pipe valves used for inlet, outlet, over-flow & washout, shall be coated with two coats of approved black Japan Paint with arrow mark flow of water on pipes.

Refilling of excavated earth in 15 cm layers, watering, ramming & compactions of excavated earth& laying of 40 mm thick P.C.C. 1:2:4 flooring of ground level with thick P.C.C. 1:2:4 flooring of ground level with glass strips (used for paneling of the floor) over 80 mm thick P.C.C. 1:4:8 with cement coarse sand & shingle, on total plan area of the tank along with one meter wide apron all around the plan of the tank (inclusive of balcony) with flooring of same specifications and other appurtenant works like over flow chamber and sluice valve chambers. The floor, shall be finished with neat cement. 1:4:8 with cement coarse sand & shingle on total plan area of the tank along with one meter wide apron all around the plan of the tank ( inclusive of balcony) with flooring of same specifications and 15 cm. dia semi circular drains all around the apron and other appurtenant works like over flow chamber and sluice value chambers. The floor, shall be finished with neat cement.

Cleaning and dressing of the site of O.H.T. as per direction of Engineer in charge after constructions and testing of the tank, pipe and pipe fitting also.

The tank shall be water tight. The testing of the tank will be done at the cost of the contractor. Water for filling however will be supplied to him against cost, if available.

The tenderes are requested to visit the site. The rate must include the dismantling & clearing of exicsting structures at site for execution of work if required.

Design and Drawings are to be got prepared from Civil Engineering Department of I.I.T. Roorkee or Civil Engg. Deptt. of G.B. Pant University (U.S. Nagar) and other government authorized institution are to be submitted in six copies.

Carried out dynamic cone penetration test to evaluate & find out the value of allowable bearing capacity of the soil on the basis if test required at the site of the O.H.T. bearing capacity report of soil is to be got prepared from civil engineering deptt of G.B. Pant University, Pant Nagar or deptt of I.I.T. Roorkee and other government authorized instution is to be submitted in three copies.
