Notes for item No 2 to 78 :- (i) The work will be carried out upto multi-storey buildings. Hence necessary complete scaffolding and other safety arrangements will be managed and made by tenderer/ Contractor accordingly at own expense. (ii) Tenderer kind attention is also invited to srl clause 1.16 of Sec-I on srl page No 6 (General rules for Safety in Construction) as specified in SSR Pt-I (2009) for safety measures/ precautions. (iii) Steel scaffolfing is to be used in the work. (iv) Necessary arrangement for temporary plug the / door / window / ventilator opening at time of taking down plaster/ new plaster till completion of work. Made by Tender / Contractor at own expense.

Earth work in excavation in all kind of soil by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/ in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for earth filling in floors or pavings, earth obtained by excavated earth in trnches, plinth, sides of foundation etc, removing to distance not exceeding 50m, laid in layers n exc. 25cm thick, spread, levelled and rammed including watering, complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches in any type of soil not exceeding 1.5 metre deep and not exceeding 1.5 mtr width and getting out soil including forming bottom surface to required slope/gradient for laying cables/pipes etc. including removing cable protection covers/ bricks complete all as specified and directed. Notes : (i) Excavation shall be made carefully in order to avoid damage of existing cables and brick protection.

M&L for Returning, filling in, including spreading leveling, watering and well ramming the excavated soil in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Removal of surplus excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 Mtr distance and depositing as directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for sand filling with clean dry fine sand unwashed including gently punning around cables in trenches/ducts for cable protection complete all as specified and directed. (NOTE : Thickness after punning shall be measured for payment)

M&L for cutting down removing vegitation plant digging out penetrated roots with tronices looping branches not exc. 10cm girth PROTRUDING over wall roofs by necessary cutting hole in brick / concrete wall/ surfaces and injecting chemical GLYPHOSPHATW 41% SL 20 ml or till refusal by makimg cut/ injection in the stem of plant 30mm C/C spraying with solution (25ml Glyphospoto 41% diluted with one litre water) and making good in cement mortar 1:3 or cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 and to match the existing work and finishes and removing of debris out side premises/ defence land including necessary scaffolding etc work will be carried out upto 6th storey bldgs. The work shall be carried out strictly under manufacturer’s directions and/or by an authorised applicator approved by GE complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for cement concrete ( 1:3:6 ) typeC-1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in lintels upto 1.5 clear span , cills steps seismic and other similar bands, copings, hold fast and the like incluing weathering , slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating asdirected with and icluding necessary form work in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only Liquid water proofing compound ISI Marked (used 200 ml per bag of cement) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for brick work with sub class 'B' bricks (old size) straight or curved on plan exc 6.00m mean radius built in CM (1:6) complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down chowkats or frames with shutter (without taking off shutters from the frame) n. exc. 1.50 sqm each including removing from site complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 35mm thick Flush shutters, solid core construction, with block board core and plywood face panels, commercial type on both sides (Emission safe, weather resistance, anti termite treated as per IS:401, etc. Make : Greenply Ecotec-15yrs waranty or equivalent) with lipping/frame to match including ISI marked Stainless Steel butt hinges with necessary screws ISI marked, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L PVC SHEET of wall paneling of thickness 5mm solid consisting of panels of desired size stuck on inner frame work of 50mm wide strips of 5mm thick prelam PVC sheet. The panel & strips shall be of 600 kg / cbm density manufactured by an ISO-9000 certified company. The strips should two PVC strips. The PVC strip shall be fixed to the wall using 65mm long M.S screws through the groove in the strip by using PVC fasteners. The distance between two screws shall not be more than 200mm. A groove of 2mm may be left at the joint of two panels for aesthetic looks. The exact size of the panel and correspondingly of the grid may vary depending on the size of the wall. Optionally a U Channel at top, bottom and side edges and strips of 5mm thick PVC sheet of width 75mm feathered at the edges shall be stuck at the places where two panels are joined, using solvent cement with and complete all as specified and directed. (Note- Including all nesscesary fittings and scafolding for heighted site)

Supply and fixing factory made uPVC white colour Three track three panels sliding window with fly proof S.S wire mesh (Two nos. glazed & one no. wire mesh panels) upto 1.50m height made of (big series) frame 116 x 45 mm & sash 46 x 62 mm both having wall thickness of 2.3 ± 0.2 mm and single glazing bead / double glazing bead of appropriate dimension. M&L for applying siloxane based water repellent impregnation on concrete/brick/ stone/ masonry surfaces (Make: Sikagard-700 S or equivalent), complete all as specified and directed with and including followed the following:- (a) Preparation of surfaces by cleaning and removing dust, dirt, oil, grease, efflorescence, mould etc, using brush/roller/spray with detergent, degreaser, light blast cleaning, steam cleaning as required, including removal of any existing incompatible coating/paint which may block absorption.(b) Filling/repairing cracks wider than 200 microns using approved crack filler as per manufacturer’s instructions.(c) Ensuring surface is dry (maximum moisture content 5–6%) with no visible damp patches before application. Applying the first coat by low-pressure spray, roller or brush in vertical direction.(d) Applying second coat before the first coat is fully dried, strictly as per manufacturer’s instructions. Coverage rate: 0.30 to 0.50 Kg/Sqm per coat (corresponding to 0.375 to 0.625 L/Sqm per coat). Notes:(i) The work shall be carried out strictly under manufacturer’s directions and/or by an authorised applicator approved by GE (ii) Contractor shall produce manufacturer’s certificate after satisfactory completion of work.

M&L for treatment of capillary wall against rising dampness comprising the following operations complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge: (a) Substrate preparation (vertical surface): Cleaning and chipping of brick/plastered surface to remove dust, sludge, efflorescence, and loose particles, including grinding of extended portions with suitable equipment to prepare substrate for waterproofing system. (b) Masonry joint exposure & injection preparation: Exposing first horizontal joint of masonry at ground level, removing plaster up to 50 cm beyond visible penetrated area, raking out mortar joints to a depth of 2–3 cm, drilling 10 mm dia holes at 45° inclination to cross bricks/blocks at spacing of 10–30 cm (as directed), cleaning of drilled holes with air blower, fixing of 9.8 mm dia × 100 mm long injection packers tightened and sealed with Sikadur 31 or equivalent, cutting of packers after grouting and sealing with Sikagard 694 Fi or equivalent without damaging structure. (c) Injection resin: Supplying and injecting three-part, very low viscous, solvent-free elastic polyacrylic injection resin (Sika Injection-306 or equivalent) with adjustable reaction time, reversibly swelling/shrinking property, viscosity 3–11 mPa.s at +20°C (ISO 3219), curing time 8–50 minutes depending on accelerator dosage; having valid test reports (Wissbau for re-injectable hose, compatibility with PVC membrane) from manufacturer certified to ISO 9001 & 14001. "(d) Waterproofing coating: Providing and applying cementitious two-component acrylic waterproofing coating or (SikaTop-109 Seal IN or equivalent), applied in 2 coats (1 kg/sqm each) reinforced with glass fabric cloth (Sika Fabric-50 equivalent), with coats applied at right angles to each other on saturated substrate, taken up to 300 mm height on wall and 600 mm in splash zone. Notes: (i) Application shall be carried out strictly as per manufacturer's specifications and under supervision of authorised applicator. (ii) Contractor shall submit manufacturer's certificate after satisfactory completion of work.)"

M&L for coloured Glazed ceramic desiner mosaic tiles (247x122mm) x 8mm thick, as in floor surface etc set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in coloured epoxy grout with coloured tiles over and including 20 mm Screed bed in CM 1: 4 with complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for coloured Glazed ceramic desiner mosaic tiles (247x122mm) x 8mm thick in vertical surfaces, as in dado/skirting etc set & jointed in neat cement slurry & pointed in coloured epoxy grout with coloured tiles, over and including 15mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:4 rough finish to receive the tiles complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 75 mm thick PCC 1;3:6 type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in plinth protection or similar places and finishing the surface even & smooth without using extra cement including making joints 12mm wide to the full depth of PCC at every 3 meter and every change of direction and filling the same with mixture of bitumen & sand in ratio (1:1) by weight including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for taking down old cement plaster/Grit wash on stone wall or brick surfaces of walls including raking out joints, hacking for key and scrubbing down with water with and including, removing debris out side MOD Land at contractor is own arrangement ) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 12 mm thick rendering on brickwork / concrete surface on wall finished even and smooth (without using extra cement) in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

M&L for prepration of new plaster surfaces of wall and applying Premium Acrylic Smooth exterior paint with Silicone additives of required shade: New work (Two or more coats applied @ 1.43 ltr/10 sqm and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of required shade over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20 kg/10 sqm). Make: Asian Apex Ultima Protek Duralife- (Top & base Coat) or equivalent. Note: Item shall be included rate of writing of qtr no in block, roman, italic or indian font complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for complete removal of existing treatement by scraping, washing, rubbing down or stopping distempered or painted surfaces etc of walls plastered or un-plastered & removing all vegetation growth, cleaning and applying Two or more coats of Distempering with 1st quality acrylic distemper (ready mixed) having VOC content less than 50 gms/litre, of approved manufacturer, of required shade and colour over and including a coat of alkali primer complete all as specified and directed.

Two Coat Wall painting with premium acrylic emulsion paint of interior grade, having VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) content less than 50 grams/ litre of approved brand and manufacture, including applying additional coats wherever required to achieve even shade and colour complete all as specified and directed

M& for complete removal of existing treatement by scraping, washing, rubbing down or stopping distempered or painted surfaces etc of walls plastered or un-plastered & applying of Birla/JK white wall putty approx 1 mm thick as per manufacturer's instruction on existing prepared surface and make the surface smooth by rubbing with sand papers etc and applying two coat of with Acrylic Smooth and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of required shade : New work (Two or more coat applied @ 1.67 ltr/10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20 kg/10 sqm) complete all as specified and directed. Make: Asian Apex Ultima Protek Duralife- (Top & base Coat) or equivalent. Note: Item shall be included rate of writing of qtr no in block, roman, italic or indian font with synthetic enamel paint complete as per direction by Engr-in-Charge.

Boards shall be fixed on existing building using separate MS structural frame, including LED lighting with all mounting hardware and accessories. Design of board and supporting structure may be specified/approved by Engineer-in-Charge. Rate includes provision of necessary scaffolding up to 15 m height and all incidental works for proper completion.

Supply, installation,fixing and testing of 36 ft dia round shaped GI Ring Header medium grade 50 mm dia incl socket and 18 ft dia round GI Ring Header meduim grade 40 mm dia incl socket etc and arrangements for 110 Nos 15 mm dia socket duly welded and 2 Nos inlets 50 mm and 40 mm dia including drilling, welding,gasket, supporting pipe of 50/40 mm dia as required at site etc complete all as specified and as directed by EIC. M & L for cutting chases in hard standing road/path/drain etc for passing cables/pipes etc. size of and removing the excavated materials and disposal at 50 metre distance and making good the cutting after the pipe and cables are laid with PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregates complete all as specified and directed.
