Supply and replacement of unserviceable MS ERW pipe heavy grade pipe 150 mm bore laid in tenches / on ground all as per IS 3589:2001 with flanges made out of MS & rubber insertion, nuts, bolts etc., complete including cutting, welding etc., and preparation of pipe surface and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of zinc chrome primer in open places and with bitumen coating/felt cover including making leak proof joints complete all as specified and directed.

Repairs to automatic control panel of fire fighting system comprising of replacement of pressure switch, arresting leakages in the line etc., for effective functioning of Jockey pump to maintain desired pressure level in the system complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Repairing / Servicing and reassembling of Jockey pump set and motor of capacity 20 HP or 15 KW as per the original assembly after repairs / replacing the worn out unserviceable parts with new parts as ordered, including cleaning, replacing the bearings for both pumps & motors including packing bolts, nuts washers and MS clamps etc., and applying one coat of approved synthetic enamel paint paint on exposed steel surface, making the pump and motor fully serviceable including machine work etc., refixing and testing & commissioning the both for satisfactory operation on its full load complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge

Supply and replacement of fire hydrant landing valve gun metal, type A (Single head outlet) of 63 mm bore conforming to IS-5290 complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and replacement of fire hydrant landing valve gun metal, type 'B' (Double head outlet) of 63 mm bore conforming to IS-5290 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rectification of existing defective flanged joints with rubber or fibre gasket complete with necessary nuts, bolts and washers all as specified for 80 mm dia GI/DI/MS pipes complete all as directed. Note:- (i) quoted rates are inclusive of cutting of GI/DI/MS Pipes and preparation of new flanged sockets and refixing the same at existing place. (ii) Necessary excavation and pipes shall be measured and paid separately.

M&L PCC 1:3:6 type C1 (using 20 mm graded granite stone aggregate) as in base foundation for pipe lines including necessary formwork complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for taking down defective 150 mm dia foot valves/ Non-return valves from UG Sump, scraping the corroded footvalves / Non-return valves and painting with one coat of red oxide along with black enamel paint, repalcing rubber gaskets, bottom rubber with spring complete with replacement of necessary bolts, nuts, washers complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Sl. item No. 12 above but of 100/80 mm dia

Taking down & refixing the old fire hydrant valves of size 80 mm dia from hydrant post and removing the corrosion, changing the damaged pins from pivot end, softening the shaft of iron wheel and applying the greese for lubrication of fire hydrant valves complete all as directed by EIC. Note:- Quoted rates are inclusive of nut & Bolts, rubber gaskets and other connected items.

Repair/ maintenance of fire hose box by changing of damaged doors along with locking arrangements, front glass of existing size, PCC foundation and necessary rubber gaskets for doors complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- Quoted rates are inclusive of one coat of synthetic enamel paint, (paint red and inside clean white paint) NOTE:- Unit quoted rate shall be deemed included for supply and fixing of stencil letter and number writing with highly fluorescent sheet of best quality stickers, stick on fire hose box as directed.

Supply and replacement defective / unserviceable 63 mm dia canvas pipe 15 metre long hose pipe confirming to IS 636 complete with male and female coupling confirming to IS 903 complete all as specified and directed

Supply and replacement of defective / unserviceablehose reel drum and hose reel of 19mm dia and 30 metre length conforming to IS-884-1985, shutoff valve and 4.6mm dia nozzle as per IS 8090-1976, manufactured as per IS 884/85 complete all as specified on fire fighting norms and as directed.

Supply and replacement of defective / unserviceablefire brigade inlet connection 4 way with isolating valve and instataneous gun metal coupling 63 mm dia including with all accessories complete all as specified on fire fighting norms made out of 150mm dia class and as directed

M&L masonary valve chamber of size 1000x1000x1000 mm (internal dimensions) and including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, 100 mm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D2 foundation, brick work in cement mortar 1:6, plastering internal and external surface 15 mm thick in CM 1:4, 50 mm thick PCC 1:3:6 type C1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) coping, 50 x 50 x 6 mm thick MS angle iron, 5 mm thick MS plate cover with locking arrangement, painting exposed steel surfaces with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of zinc chrome primer including dismantling unservicble compete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Labour for pressure testing of existing 150 mm DI/MS fire main system , identifying for leakages for rectifications including replacement of gland packing of sluice valves, rubber insertion packing, nut ,bolts etc of flanged joints/ defective flanges etc complete for making the system leak proof complete all directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: (a) The rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of T&P such as air compressor for pressure testing etc (b) Earthwork, Specialsand pipe required for rectiifcation if any shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items BOQ.

M & L Preparation of old painted steel surfaces of any description, over 10 cm width or girth, not otherwise described and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint including numbering the box with white paint on black circle background of size as directed.

M&L for Fire point comprising of CO2 fire extinguisher 4.5 Kg - 2 Nos, Dry carbon powder (ABC) - 5Kg 2 Nos, ceiling hook, fire beater, sand buckets 9 ltr capacity- 2Nos ,showel complete with angle iron stand duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved colour over a coat of red oxide primer including dismantling old unserviceable one complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge.

Surface dressing in soft/loose soil not exceeding 15 cm deep, cutting/ cleaning of branches, bushes / plants / grass obstructing the pipe line / valve chambers/ sumps /OHTs and path on either sides of water supply installations area including disposal the material up to a distance not execeding 50 m complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and replacement of single hydrant stand post made of MS pipe of size 80 mm bore heavy grade, 1.50 m height with 90°, duck foot bend both end flanged and including welding if required to suit single fire hydrant valve and testing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge.

Excavation in trenches n.exc. 1.5 m wide and n. exc. 1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft / loose soil for foundation, of pipe lines etc, complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick in soil.

Removing surplus excavated soil n. exc. 50 m and depositing where directed at a level n-exc 1.5 m above the starting point.

M & L for repirs and maintenance of 105 BHP Diesel engine set as per the manufacturer instructions including replacement of necessary recommended filters, spares including engine oil, rewinding of burnt starter, replacement of old silencer suction bent pipe, crank case head, air lock pipe, cooling fan, base metallic & wheels, head cleaning, tapet setting complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M & L for dismantling of motor of 90 to 125 HP capacity pumpset from installed position after disconnecting the coupling and electric connections, transporting the motor to the work shop, strip opening of the motor complete including dismanlting stator, rotor assembly and cleaning the complete assemblies by taking out perished glass sleeve of connecting leads from common termination to terminal block, and washing with carbon tetra chloride, decarbonising and cleaning the rotor with CTC solution, replacing the glass sleeve of connecting leads from common termination to terminal block, binding the loose coils with binding cloth, varnishing the coils complete and applyng bectol on the excitor coils, stator coils and heating complete, reassembling the unit and testing with megger for insualtion value and re-assembling, aligning with pump, re-inserting shims where necessary, refixing with coupling, tightening......

…….. with torque wrench to required level, re-connecting the electric cable etc and check for drawing current testing, commissioning etc all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

M & L for dismantling the pump of 90 to 125 HP capacity, checking the worn out parts like impeller, shaft, stuffing box, shaft sleeve by using Micrometer and transporting to workshop for repairs, check for condition of bearings, removing scales from impeller and pump housing, building the worn out metal of transmission shaft to required level, machining to the required size on lathe machine, grinding and finishing to match the sleeve, and fixing into the housing, re-assembling, transport back to the installation, installing in position, check for alignment with dial gauge, inserting shims where necessary, refixing with coupling, tightening with torque wrench to required level, re-connecting the flanged pipe connections of suction/ delivery including replacement of rubber insertion etc complete, all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Spares required will be measured and paid separately under relevant of BOQ.

Supply only Shaft bushes with check nuts (stainless steel) for pumpset of capacity 90 to 125 HP.

Supply only Ball bearings suitable for pumpset of capacity 90 to 125 HP.

Supply only Metal Coupling for above pumpset for pumpset of capacity 90 to 125 HP.

Supply only Gland packing end cover (Stainless steel of suitable grade) as per existing size complete

M & L for dismantling of defective induction motor of any capacity 90 to 125 HP /make/ class of insulation from the foundation bed, duly coupled with pump/compressor, disconnecting the mechanical/electric connections and transporting to the work shop, removing the completely burnt copper winding from stator/ rotor, cleaning the complete assemblies with carbon tetra chloride, decarbonising and cleaning the rotor with CTC solution, rewinding with suitable gauge of super enamelled copper wire of approved make including replacing DE/NDE baerings, insulation materials, varnishing, heating etc., complete , reassembling the unit and testing with megger for insualtion value and re-assembling, aligning, re-inserting shims where necessary, refixing with coupling, tightening with torque wrench to required level, re-connecting the electric cable etc and check for drawing current testing, commissioning etc all as directed.

Note: : Quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of Spares if any required.
