Earth work in excavation by manual means in foundation trenches or drains, sunken area, including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift up to 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil in side the building and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, outside technopark campus. Providing and laying matt finished vitrified tile of size 100x100x16mm having water absorption less than 0.5% and conforming to IS: 15622 of approved make in all colours and shades in out door floors such as footpath, toilet court yard multi models etc., laid on 20 mm thick base of cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) in all shapes & patterns including grouting the joints with white cement mixed with matching pigments etc. complete as direction of Engineer-in-Charge. including applying of epoxy joint filler, and using a spacer of minimum of 3mm thick. Providing and laying water proofing treatment to vertical and horizontal surfaces of depressed portions of W.C. kitchen and the like consisting of : i) I course of applying cement slurry @ 4.4 Kg/ sqm mixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS: 2645 in recommended proportions including rounding off junction of vertical and horizontal surface. ii) II course of 20 mm cement plaster 1:3 ( 1 cement : 3 coarse sand) mixed with water proofing compound in recommended proportion including rounding off junction of vertical and horizontal surface. iii) III course of applying blown or residual bitumen applied hot at 1.7 kg per sqm of area. iv) IV course of 400 micron thick PVC sheet. (Overlaps at joints of PVC sheet should be 100 mm wide and pasted to each other with bitumen @ 1.7 Kg/ sqm. Providing and applying membrane treatement for water proofing over the exposed areas / toilet area / terrace area / all wetted areas with APP (Atactic Polypropylene Polymer) modified prefabricated five layer, 3 mm thick water proofing membrane, black finished reinforced with glass fibre matt consisting of a coat of bitumen primer for bitumen membrane @ 0.40 litre/ sqm by the same membrane manufactured of density at 250C, 0.87-0.89 kg /litre and viscocity 70-160 cps. Over the primer coat the layer of membrane shall be laid using butane torch and sealing all joints etc., and preparing the surface complete. The vital physical and chemical parameters of the membrane shall be as under : joint strength in longitudinal and transverse direction at 230C as 350/ 300 N/5 cm. Tear strength in longitudinal and transverse direction as 60/80N. Softening point of membrane not less than 1500C. Cold fexibility shall be upto -20C when tested in accordance with ASTM. D - 5147. The laying of membrane shall be got done through the authorised applicator of the manufacturer of membrane : 3 mm thick. Finishing the expansion joints on exposed areas after cleaning the surface and filling the gap with board to ensure uniform depth on joints (Shalitex board which is measured and paid as seperate item) and the joints are sealed with 2 part gun grade polysulphide manufactured by STP Ltd, and finished with detergent liquid and curing the treatment for atleast 24 hours and then applying a coat of asphaltic primer and fixing 3 mm polyster reinforced App modified memebrane "Thermolay" manufactured by Shalimar Tar Products Ltd. with a width of 50 cm on joints with gas torch and sealing the joints with gas torch . inclulding all labour charges, material charges etc. complete. The surface furnished with PVdF based coating on sides and service coating on reverse side of polyester paint. The coating shall confirm to specification of ECCA/AAMA. The system shall be fixed using GI/Aluminium brackets and Stainless steel bolts & nuts with spring washers and cap nuts and all other necessary accessories. The bracket supports shall stand a wind pressure of 200kg/m2. Sealing shall be done using weather sealant DOWCORNING 789 or approved equivalent make. Construction of granular sub-base by providing graded material, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per clause 401. Grading-III -For lower sub base - Mix in Place Method. Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to Wet Mix Macadam specification including premixing the Material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed Material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density.Note: 1. Though vibratory roller is required only for 3 hours as per norms, the same is required to be available at site for 6 hours to match with other machines. The usage rates of vibratory roller may be multiplied with a factor of 0.652. As three wheeled smooth steel rollers are commonly in use, the same has been provided as an alternative which can be used if the thickness of individual layer does not exceed 100 mm. Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion ( SS) on prepared surface of granular Base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70 - 1.0 kg/sqm using mechanical means. Note: Bitumen primer has been provided @ 0.70 kg per sqm as per clause 502.8. Payment shall be made with adjustment, plus or minus, for the variation between this quantity and the actual quantity approved by the Engineer after the preliminary trials referred to in clause No. 502.4.3. Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion( RS) using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.20 - 0.30 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous surface cleaned with mechanical broom. Note: 1. Bitumen emulsion has been provided @ 0.20 kg per sqm as per clause 503.8. Payment shall be made with adjustment, plus or minus, for the variation between this quantity and actual quantity approved by the Engineer after preliminary trials referred to in clause No. 503.4.3. 2. An output of 3500 sqm has been considered in case of prime coat and tack coat which can be covered by bituminous courses on the same day. Providing and laying bituminous macadam with 80-100 TPH hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading premixed with bituminous binder (VG 30), transported to site, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled as per clauses 501.6 and 501.7 to achieve the desired compaction. For Grading I ( 40 mm nominal size). Note: 1. Although the rollers are required only for 3 hours as per norms of output, but the same have to be available at site for six hours as the hot mix plant and paver will take six hours for mixing and paving the output of 450 tonnes considered in this analysis. Providing and laying bituminous concrete with 80-100 TPH hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder( NRMB) @ 5.4 per cent of mix and filler with Anti stripping additive (Zycosoil) material 1.0 kg per 1 tonne of bitumen, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORTH specification clause No. 507 complete in all respects. Grading - II (13.2 mm Nominal Size). Note: *1. Although the rollers are required only for 3 hours as per norms of output, but the same have to be available at site for six hours as the hot mix plant and paver will take six hours for mixing and paving the output of 450 tonnes considered in this analysis. To cater for the idle period of these rollers, their usage rates have been multiplied by a factor of 0.65 2.Quantity of Bitumen has been taken for analysis purpose. The average density of 1.5 tonne/cum is only a reference density in this Data Book.6. The individual percentage of aggregates should be calculated from the total weight of dry aggregates i.e.. excluding the weight of bitumen. The weight of filler will also be 2 per cent by weight of dry aggregates. The reflective panels on both sides with at least 12cm of reflective area up each side. The luminance intensity should be as per the specification and shall be tested as described in ASTM I : 809 as recommended in BS : 873 part 4 : 1973. The studs shall be fixed to the Road surface using the adhesive conforming to IS, as per procedure recommended by the manufacturer complete and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. Providing and fixing reflective road studs (Raised Pavement Marker) of ' category A' made out of ASA/HIPS/ABS moulded body with shanks and conforming to ASTM D 4280, strong enough to support a load of more than 13.635 T when tested in accordance with ASTM D 4280, reflective panel confirming to ASTM D 788, and reflectivity conforming to clause 804.4. including installation, drilling, fixing with adhesive etc. with 2 years warranty for the road stud as well as for in field performance as per clause 804.7.3. Road Markers/Road Stud with Lense Reflector. Providing and applying 2.5 mm thick road marking strips ( retro - reflective ) of specified shade / colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully / semi automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of material, labour, T & P, cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil grease and foreign material etc. complete as per direction of Engineer - incharge and accordance with applicable specifications. Providing & laying Bituminous Concrete 40/50 mm compacted thickness with bitumen of grade VG-30 @ 5.5% (percentage by weight of total mix) and lime filler @ 3% (percentage by weight of aggregate) and waste plastic additive @ 8% (percentage by weight of bitumen) prepared in Batch Type Hot Mix Plant of 100 - 120 TPH capacity, using crushed stone aggregate of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site by tippers, laying with paver finisher equipped with eectronics sensor to the required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandemrollers to achieve the desired compactions and density as per specification, complete and as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing & laying Bituminous Concrete 40/50 mm compacted thickness with bitumen of grade VG-30 @ 5.5% (percentage by weight of total mix) and lime filler @ 3% (percentage by weight of aggregate) and waste plastic additive @ 8% (percentage by weight of bitumen) prepared in Drum Type Hot Mix Plant of 60 - 90 TPH capacity, using crushed stone aggregate of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site by tippers, laying with paver finisher equipped with eectronics sensor to the required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandemrollers to achieve the desired compactions and density as per specification, complete and as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge.
