Contractor has to fill the financial online on (n) procure.

(1) Sand for masonry and concrete work to be used of coarse graded without silt, dust

and salt free and to be screened, washed, if so directed, by the Engineer-in-charge

and consultant Engineer. Remove dust and other impurities if necessary.

(2) Aggregate of 25 mm and below to be used of approved quarries and to be of special

quality only as directed.

(3) A) All concrete will have to be machine mixed and mechanically surface and needle

B) All concrete work are carried out on weigh base machine system.

(4) Reinforcement to be used shall be TMT bar except 6-mm dia bars, unless specifically

permitted otherwise. The TMT bars of tested quality shall only be allowed to be used

(5) The TMT bars will have to be procured from either Tata, Iron & Steel Co., Steel

Authority of India, Electro Thermo, Friends, Utkarsh, Gallant, Diamond, Akshat,

Mono etc. as may be approved by the Engineer-in-charge or as mentioned in

approved make list. Test checks of random samples must be done through

Govt./Private Laboratory at the cost of contractor. The TMT bars size 8-32 mm (IS

1786 & IS 2062, confirm to grade Fe 415/500/500D) For fabrication structure

Contractor has to make safe structure design and mode of measurement for

fabricated structure is by way bridge weight.

(6) The material will stand rejected if the results are not found satisfactory. The rejected

material will have to be removed from site immediately at contractor’s cost. Inferior

material if used in work and defected subsequently, such work shall stand rejected.

The contractor will have to remove the same at his cost and re-do the same.

(7) Contractor will have to produce bills against purchase of steel, cement or any other

building materials from approved source. Test check from random sample will be

made for necessary testing purpose through Government and Government approved

private laboratory. The result should be obtained up to mark of ISI nominations.

(8) Before starting the work testing of material must be done as per ISI norms & the

results should be as per standard.

(9) Cement must be of 53 grades OPC. & Conforming to IS 12269 Certified of reputed

Company like Tata, ACC, Ambuja, Siddhi, Sanghi, Ultratech, Lotus, Hathi, Binani, Hi-

bond or as specified in approved make list.

(10) 1 % Welfare cess will be recovered from the contractor bill.

(11) E.M.D. & S.D. will be paid by Contractor as per the Norms of Govt. of Gujarat.

(As mentioned in the Standard Bidding Document) This amount may vary as per the

resolutions passed by Govt. of Gujarat at various stages. Final call for the EMD & SD

will be as decided by Chief Civil Engineer. Contractor is bound for the same.

(12) The Percentage Rate Tender will be filled by the contractor in the mode of unit rate

& writing the figures in words & letters up to two digits.

(13) The work shall be completed in the stipulated time or The Liquidity Damage will

recovered as per agreement clause.

(14) Water used for construction work should be fit for drinking. The GSRTC will provide

water source if possible & 1 % charge will be recovered from the bill for the same or

if contractor made his own arrangement no water charge will be deducted, but prior

approval must be taken.

(15) All item included in the tender form & shown in the design and plan must be done as

per strictly instructed by the Site Engineer and Divisional Deputy Engineer.

(16) Site stores for storing the cement and another building materials will be constructed

by the contractor at their own cost and will be demolished after the completion of

(17) Site office will be constructed by the contractor at the site of work and should

maintain all registers like (1) Cement Consumption (2) Site Order Book (3) Works

Inspection Book (4) Testing Result etc with own cost.

(18) Chief Civil Engineer reserves all the right to accept or reject all tenders without

assigning any reason there of.

(19) The materials used for water proofing work must be of standard quality and it should

be approved by the Consultant & Divisional Deputy Engineer and the 5 % deposit of

the work will be released after the expire of guarantee period which is applicable. If

any leakage arise in due course the contractor have to rectify the same work,

otherwise the whole deposit will be forfeited.

(20) Work photocopy must be taken in four nos. One set before the work starts and other

set after the completion of all activities with risk and cost of Agency in every running

(21) 1 % testing charges like cube testing, b.t. metal, sand, cement & other raw materials

will be recovered from running bills from the contractors risk & cost and same

testing done on the site as the work progresses by the Dy.Engineer.

(22) The Guarantee Bond should be given for 5 years for the completed work of CC

Tremix Flooring on Rs.100/- stamp paper. The Security deposit of 5% remains

withheld in the name of GSRTC upto guarantee period.

(23) Work progress payment will be release timely.

(24) If there is electrical work in the tender than contractor must furnish the electrical

contractor registration. Electrical contractor licence issued by petro chemical

department & also furnish electrical work experience if not he / she must have

MOU (Full form) with electrical agency or must have JC (Joint venture) with

electrical agency having the necessary document mentioned above. Contractor

must furnish all these. (MOU proforma is attached) This condition is applicable if

there is electrical work in tender.

(25) Contractors/ Bidders have to fill online form for their relevant work completion

details as per 3-A forms submitted for experience for Civil Works & Electrical

Works as per the Nivida Details/SBD. For relevant experience if special condition

(price bid & relevant experience details) is attached, then technical evaluation will

be carried out on basis of that. For other works for which special condition is not

attached, technical evaluation will be done on basis of Nivida/SBD.

(26) If there are condition in this tender which are contradictory to each other than

Chief Civil Engineer/GSRTC decision on that condition will be considered final.

(27) Defect Liability period & other Retention money that is hold by GSRTC will be

released as per the Norms of Govt. of Gujarat or as per the Standard Bidding

(28) Remaining details like Rates, DTP & other relevant details will be filled during the

signing of Agreement. Signed agreement will supersede every condition.
