Supply and fill potable water into the existing RCC under ground / semi under ground / above ground water sumps situated at Pampa Vihar as required basis with suitable capacity water bouzer including necessary pumping and metering arrangements all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Supply and fill potable water into the existing RCC under ground / semi under ground / above ground water sumps situated at INS Dronacharya as required basis with suitable capacity water bouzer including necessary pumping and metering arrangements all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Note for item Nos.1to 3 :- (i) Contractor shall supply water in hygenically neat and clean water bowser free from dust, dirt and scales. (ii) water bowsers to be used for carrying potable water shall be painted with EPI coating internally (Food grade BIS approved)and externally with synthetic enamel paint over anticorrosive paint. (iii) Quantity of water will be measured and paid as per actual meter reading only (iv) The rate quoted shall be deemed to be inclusive of all transits losses, loading / unloading of water in bouser and in water sumps. (v) If the meter become defective, the same shall be repaired / replaced by the contractor immediately at his own cost. (vi)Water Bousers / Trucks used for transportation will be of adequate capacity upto 40KL and the bidder must own / lease at least o7 to 08 tankers of various capacity as mentioned in his fleet for dedicated use for MES supplies under this contract and one tanker small of upto 10 KL capacity for supply of water in areas where approach is difficult with large tankers. The details of vehicles will be submitted along with the bid.
(vii)The MES will give the Authorisation Letter for collection of water from Kerala Water Authority for domestic defence needs incase contractor proposes to utilise source of potable water from Govt source (KWA) , however,the charges to be paid to Kerala Water Authority for supply of treated water at any of the Authorised location of the water supply will be borne by contractor and Quoted rates will be accordingly.(viii)In case, contractor supplies water from Tube wells or Dugwells in the vicinity of Periyar River,then the statutory permissions as required will be obtained by them.(ix)Unit rates quoted by the contractor shall also deem to include for testing of following (daily,ie;365 days) :-Testing of water (As per table 1 Organoleptic and physical parameters of IS-10500- 2012) in a Govt approved Laboratory all as specified and directed. Quality of water shall be tested (routine test) and test certificate to prove the potability of water issued by a Govt approved laboratory shall be produced by the contractor for each day of supply of water. The water shall be tested for essential characteristics, Bacteriological Examination for routine test as laid down in IS:10500 - 2012 and conform to the requirements.
Testing of water for all parameters as per IS:10500 - 2012 in a Govt approved laboratory all as specified and as directed. (Water to be tested As per table 2 to 6 for General parameters concerning subtance undesirable in excessive amount, parameters concerning toxic substances, parameters concerning radioactive substances, pesticides residues limits and test method and bacteriological quality of drinking water (IS:10500-2012) in a Govt approved NABL Laboratory all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Sample of water shall be taken jointly by the representative of Engineer in Charge and contractor from the approved source of supply. (ii) Test report shall be submitted before the supply of water for each change of sources or at an interval of 180 days as directed.
