Dismantling Asbestos cement (corrugated,semicorrugated, etc.) sheets in roof coverings removal of meterial off site complete all as specified.

Supply and fix pre-painted Galvalume / Zincalume aluminium-zinc alloy-coated corrugated / trapezoidal profiled high-tensile sheet steel roofing and side-wall cladding (nominal Total Coated Thickness - TCT 0.50 mm / Base Metal Thickness - BMT 0.45 mm to 0.50 mm), of approved colour, shade, and profile, having a minimum yield/tensile strength of 550 MPa (Grade G550 conforming to IS 15965 / AS 1397 / ASTM A792), with metallic coating of alloy composition 55% Aluminium, 43.5% Zinc, and 1.5% Silicon (mass coating rating not less than AZ-150 / 150 g/m² total both sides), finished on top exposed face with 20 to 25 microns of Regular Modified Polyester (RMP) / Super Durable Polyester paint system over 5 microns corrosion-resistant epoxy primer and bottom/backer face with 5 to 7 microns neutral epoxy wash coat, in roof covering, canopies, vertical side-wall cladding, and gable ends at all heights, elevations, and roof slopes, executed in a comprehensive roofing and cladding installation sequence comprising: hoisting, handling, positioning, aligning, and laying profiled sheets true to line, pitch, and slope over structural steel / timber purlins and runners; maintaining minimum longitudinal end laps of not less than 150 mm to 200 mm and lateral side laps of not less than one full crest / corrugation fitted with anti-capillary drainage grooves; precision cutting, trimming, and notching around structural penetrations, skylights, ridges, and valleys; fixing sheets securely to structural purlins / runners using heavy-duty, corrosion-resistant, mechanically galvanized / cadmium-plated self-drilling and self-tapping carbon steel / stainless steel hexagonal flange head screws (conforming to AS 3566 Class 3 / Class 4) fitted with integrated vulcanized EPDM rubber sealing washers at every crest on end supports and alternate crests on intermediate purlins; stitching lateral side laps with matching stitching screws at spacing not exceeding 500 mm centres; sealing end laps and vulnerable intersections with continuous non-hardening butyl mastic sealant tape; providing necessary double/cantilever scaffolding, staging, ladders, edge protection, and safety lifelines; and thoroughly sweeping and clearing away all metal swarf, drilled cuttings, and debris from the roof sheet surface to prevent premature corrosion, complete all as specified.

(Note: Measurement shall be taken on the net flat plan area of the finished roof covering / vertical elevation area of wall cladding in square metres [Sq.m] without separate measurement for laps. Pre-painted aluminium-zinc alloy coated steel sheets shall conform to IS 15965 [Specification for Pre-painted Aluminium-Zinc Alloy Coated Steel Strip and Sheet] / AS 1397 / ASTM A792, paint performance to IS 14246, and self-drilling fasteners to AS 3566. Rates include all profiled sheets, laps, precision cutting, self-drilling self-tapping fasteners with EPDM washers, stitching screws, butyl sealant tape, scaffolding at all heights, and cleaning roof swarf. Structural steel trusses, purlins, side runners, sag rods, plain Galvalume ridge capping, valley gutters, barge boards, and north-light flashings shall be measured and paid for separately under relevant items of Schedule 'A' unless specified otherwise. Material and labour for providing and applying a high-performance single-component, water-based, aliphatic/hybrid Polyurethane (PU) liquid elastomeric waterproofing membrane coating system (conforming to ASTM C836 / ASTM D412 / BS EN 12390-8), on horizontal and vertical surfaces of RCC roof slabs, terraces, podiums, balconies, chajjas, wet areas, and parapet upstands at all heights, elevations, and floor levels, executed in a comprehensive surface preparation and multi-coat application sequence comprising: thoroughly cleaning, chipping, hacking, wire-brushing, and washing the concrete/plaster substrate to remove all dust, dirt, loose particles, algae, moss, oil, grease, curing compounds, and laitance; ensuring the substrate is structurally sound, clean, and dry with substrate moisture content not exceeding 5%; routing out all existing cracks, static joints, and honeycombs to minimum 10 mm × 10 mm V/U-grooves and sealing flush with approved polymer-modified mortar / polyurethane elastomeric sealant; forming 75 mm × 75 mm rounded fillets/covings in polymer-modified cement mortar 1:3 at all horizontal and vertical parapet wall junctions, pipe penetrations, and drain khurras; applying one priming coat of approved water-based / polyurethane primer (or diluted first base coat as per manufacturer specifications) over the prepared substrate; followed by applying three uniform coats of approved water-based Polyurethane liquid membrane (such as SmartCare PU Aqua or approved equivalent) by brush, roller, or airless spray in cross-directions (perpendicular to preceding coats) after the previous coat has achieved touch-dry state, maintaining specified inter-coat recoating intervals; taking the coating vertically up the parapet walls and vertical upstands to a minimum height of 300 mm above finished floor level and into rainwater spouts/drain collars; reinforcing all corner fillets, construction joints, dynamic expansion zones, and drain outlets with an embedded layer of 45 to 50 gsm non-woven alkali-resistant spun-bonded polyester/glass-fiber mesh between the first and second coats;

allowing the membrane to cure naturally through atmospheric moisture to form a continuous, seamless, tough, flexible, and UV-resistant elastomeric waterproofing barrier having a cumulative minimum Dry Film Thickness (DFT) of not less than 1.0 mm (1000 microns); possessing certified technical physical characteristics: Density of 1.20 kg/litre, Crack Bridging ability up to 4.0 mm, Elongation at break of not less than 450% (conforming to ASTM D412), Tensile strength greater than 1.50 N/mm² (conforming to ASTM D412), Solid Content not less than 60%, and Water Impermeability under 7.0 MPa water pressure for 72 hours of 0.0 mm penetration depth (conforming to BS EN 12390-8); conducting a mandatory 48-hour continuous water ponding leakage test (ponding water to a depth of 50 mm) to verify complete watertightness prior to handing over; including providing and erecting necessary double/cantilever scaffolding, staging, ladders, edge protection, masking tapes, and thoroughly cleaning all chemical stains and splashes from adjoining walls, doors, windows, and fixtures, complete all as specified.

(Note: Polyurethane liquid applied waterproofing membrane shall conform to ASTM C836 [Specification for High Solids Content, Cold Liquid-Applied Elastomeric Waterproofing Membrane], ASTM D412 [Standard Test Methods for Vulcanized Rubber and Thermoplastic Elastomers - Tension], BS EN 12390-8 [Depth of Penetration of Water Under Pressure], and code of practice for waterproofing IS 3067. Measurement shall be taken on the net treated surface area [including vertical upstands up parapet walls and into drain outlets] in square metres [Sq.m]. Rates include all substrate preparation, crack routing and sealing, corner coving fillets, primer coat, three coats of PU liquid membrane achieving minimum 1.0 mm DFT, polyester mesh reinforcement at corners/joints, scaffolding at all heights, and 48-hour water ponding test. Base structural RCC slabs, leveling screed beds, rainwater pipes/khurras, and subsequent protective screed/tile wear courses [if ordered] shall be measured and paid for separately under relevant items of Schedule 'A' unless specified otherwise.
