Excavation in trenches not exc. 1.5 Metre wide and not exc. 1.50 Metre in depth for foundation etc. or for shafts, wells, cess pits, manholes, pier holes ,laying of cable etc. not exc. 10 Sqm on plan and not exc. 1.50 Metre in depth and getting out as in Soft/Loose Soil, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and laying dry coarse sand as in cushioning of under ground electric cable in trenches, laid to a uniform thickness of 23 Cm (15 Cm under the cable & 8 Cm over the cable) and gently punned down to 18 Cm thickness complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge. Note:- Thickness after punning down shall be measured for payment.

M&L Bricks common burnt clay building bricks, sub-class ‘B’ designation 75 laid dry width wise across the line of cable in trenches for protection of UG cable including dismantaling of old unservieacble bricks complete all as specified and as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.

M&L 100 mm bore GI tubing light grade for protection of cable including necessary joint including taking down old u/s one complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L 40 mm bore GI tubing light grade for protection of cable including necessary joint including taking down old u/s one complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking out unserviceable UG cables of any type and any sizes from trenches etc and removing from the site of work complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Serviceable bricks obtained shall be stacked properly for re-use. (ii) Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of these schedule.

Material and labour for painting to steel tubular pole 8.5/9.0 metre long with two coats of synthetic enamel paint up to 1.20 metre height from ground level in 15 cm alternative black and yellow strips and remaining portion with aluminum paint and MS frames like channel, clamps, angle, D-clamps etc with two coats of aluminum paint complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling existing steel or cement poles/ struts, any size carefully including necessary excavation demolition of concrete etc. and removing the old unserviceable rubbish etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and erecting steel tubular swaged pole complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts and screw as specified, type 410 SP-31, 9 Metre long including two coats of aluminium paint over one coat of red oxide primerincluding making hole of 2 inch dia at 2.5 meter from bottom and 1 inch at 8 meter from bottom complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Rates quoted shall be deemed to be inclusive of following works:- (a) Material and labour for painting of pole externally with one coat of black bituminous paint (upto planting depth) and above plinth block concrete collar with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer including preparation of surface. (b) Material and labour for writing letter or figures (Block, Roman, Italic as Indian) with thick synthetic enamelled paint of apprised shade n exc 5 Cm height including numbering of pole all as directed by EIC.

Cutting and trimming of tree branches, bushes n.exc 5 Mtr girth all along LT overhead lines/guard wire and removing branches out of defence land complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fixing in repair copper cable PVC insulated stranded twin core flat or circular aluminum conductor of size 1.50 Sqmm, served with inner sheathing of PVC tape and complete all as specified and directed. Note 1:-The contract sum shall be arrived at after deducting amount of schedule of credit from the total quoted amount. Note 2-Contractor's supervisor and main worker would wear shirt/T-shirt of colour sky blue/brown/yellow preferable embossed with contractor's firm name while carrying out any activities in defence area for better check of security purpose. Note 3:-The tenderer (all eligible contractors) shall ascertain the taxes & levies as on date.
