Box cutting in road embankment in all kinds of soil & spreading the soil uniformly over the flanks & consolidating & dressing the sub-grade to correct camber & grade.

Brick soling with picked jhama bricks including preparation of bed as necessary with brick joints properly filled in and packed with powdered earth and including necessary cushion of similar material below the soling (and in between layers when more than one layer is used) completes as per direction. (c) Soling or dry pavement with one brick on edge on a layer of brick flat (thickness 125mm + 75mm)

Providing and laying nominal mix Cement concrete (with mix proportion 1:1.5:3) / M-20 grade with coarse and fine aggregate conforming to IS: 383, the size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25 mm of Pakur or other approved variety including Screening and cleaning of aggregates, if necessary, both of approved quality and cement, as necessary, compacting by vibrator or other suitable means, cost of curing with water, cost for quality control, sampling, testing etc. and including placing a Separation membrane of impermeable PVC sheet 125 micron thick transparent or white in colour laid flat with minimum creases. Before placing the separation membrane, the sub-base shall be swept clean of all the extraneous materials. Wherever overlap of plastic sheets is necessary, the same shall be at least 300 mm and any damaged sheathing shall be replaced at the Contractor's cost. Including carriage of all materials to site but excluding the cost of staging, shuttering and and reinforcement if any.

Hire and labour charges for Shuttering with or without staging upto 4.0 m height using approved stout props with wooden planks/ply wood/steel sheet plate with required bracing for any kind of plain or reinforced concrete works in all sorts of minor structure including culvert, box culvert, crossdrain etc. The rate is inclusive of fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of work as per specification and direction (b) Where staging is not required

Providing and filling joint sealing compound as per drawings and technical specifications with coarse sand and 6% bitumen by weight

Supplying, fitting and placing HYSD bar reinforcement in Sub-structure including initial straightening, straightening of coils bars, removal of loose rust (if any), cutting to requisite length bending, binding with annealed wire not less than 1 mm in size and conforming to IS 280 at every intersection hooked and bent to correct shape and placed on forms etc. including cost of black annealed wire and cost of loading, unloading, carriage of all steel materials complete as per drawing and technical specifications and direction of Engineer-in-charge

Earth work in excavation of foundation of structuresas per drawing and technical specification,including setting out, removing, spreading orstacking of spoils within a lead of 150 m. as directedand including trimming the sides of the trenches,leveling, dressing and ramming the bottom, andbackfilling with approved material complete as perdirection of the Engineer-in-Charge(soft or hard) by manual means In all sorts of soil excluding marshy soil & rocksa) upto 3 m depth(ii) With pumping out water excluding shoring

Providing weep holes in Brick masonry / Plain /Reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall / returnwall with 100 mm dia AC pipe, extending throughthe full width of the structure with slope of 1V:20Htowards drawing face. Complete as per drawingand Technical specifications

Supplying, spreading and compacting Sand to required thickness, in layers not exceeding 150 mm to proper gradient and camber, inundating each layer by water and packing and ramming layer by layer to achieve desired compaction, including lighting, guarding, barricading and making adequate earthen bundh where necessary, curing with water as per direction, mending cracks and depressions by ramming wherever necessary.

Construction of Sign Board with 0.45m x 0.60m(height) granite slab of 15-18mm thk.engraving the lettering over it as directed by the E.I.C. fitting and fixing complete over brick masonry (with 4:1 cement mortar) platform covered with 4:1 sand-cement plaster with neat cement punning all complete as per direction & design supplied by the E.I.C.

Direction and Place Identification Signs upto 0.9 sqm Size Board. Providing and erecting direction and place identification retro-reflectorised sign as per IRC:67 made of high intensity grade sheeting vide clause 801.3, fixed over aluminium sheeting, 2 mm thick with area not exceeding 0.9 sqm supported on a mild steel single angle iron post 75 x 75 x 6 mm firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M15 grade cement concrete 45 x 45 x 60 cm, 60 cm below ground level as per approved drawing and Clause 801 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision)..

Labour for fitting and fixing 10 cm. to 13 cm. diameter Sal-bullah/ Eucalyptus-bullah as ties and runners including necessary nails, bolts and nuts.

Coal tarring on wooden surfaces including cost of materials. a)ONE Coat

Supplying of empty cement polythene bags in good condition.

Filling empty Cement bags with dry earth or sand, stitching the bag (cost of thread included) and carrying and placing them in position and all incidental charges complete but excluding cost of filling materials, (Earth or sand) and gunny bags.

Earthwork from borrow pits over existing embankment or for repairs to embankment, closing breaches etc. within an initial lead of 30 metre and lift of 1.50 metre including breaking clods and depositing the same in layers not exceeding 25 cm. and rough dressing etc. complete as per profile.

Extra rate over item no 21 for all kinds of soil for every additional lead of 30 meters or part therof beyond the initial lead of 30 meters. i) one extra lead

Earthwork in excavation in all kinds of soil for making embankments, repairs to the embankment, closing breaches etc. as per profile including supply and transporting the earth by truck or tractor or any other mechanical means on land , including loading, transporting, unloading and stacking with all lifts bothways and head load where necessary and depositing the same on embankments, clannels, filling depressions in requisite profile, levelling as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge within a lead of, (a) Between 1 Km and 2 Km
