MOTORIZED SLIDING GATE: Design, Supply, erection, testing and commissioning of Motorized sliding gate for Hangar of size approx 55.1 m (length) X 14.69 m (height) with gate opening area of approx 48 m (length) X 13.5 m (height) One Side openable gate in a telescopic manner fabricated by using suitable size heavy duty steel section with minimum 0.5mm thick Pre painted galvalume (PPGL) sheet cladding as per approved specifications, designs, drawing and direction of the Engineer in charge. Specifications of the gate are follows :- Total opening will be divided into Seven / Eight equal panels in length and total clear area for accomodating these panels in gate open position is approx 2.50 m. All Seven/ Eight panels sliding from one side to other side independently of each other. Each panel supported at top with suitable dia ball bearing top roller assembly ( Minimum 4 nos per panel) & bottom with suitable dia ball bearing wheels of standard make and all the wheels & roller assmebly are bolted or welded to the door frame.The wheei assemblies must be replacable easily. Sliding door shall be fabricated with Heavy duty steel section of suitable size to withstand the basic wind load of 50 meter/ second & 1.5 KN / m² and having outside Pre painted galvalume (PPGL) sheet cladding. Bottom track using suitable section rail welded to suitable size channel / plate which is properly grouted into the floor (shall not prode above Finished Floor Level) Bottom rail shall run along the opening and extend up to parking bay of the gate. Heavy duty energy absorbing buffer stops are to be fitted at the extremities of the bottom tracks to prevent leaves over-running the ends of their tracks during towing-mode operation. These are to be designed to eliminate any trip hazard that might otherwise occur. Top guide track of suitable steel section welded to the structure which guides the panels along the opening at top & mechanical stopper shall be provided at the extremities of top track system. Each leaf should be operatable independently .To enable the same each leaf will have one number of three phase VFD controlled electric motor of suitable capacity for efficient driving of the door with a speed of 6 to 8 meters/ minute including control panel as per specifications. Electrical operation of all door panel shall be carried out from the control panel mounted at the extreme end of the leading door leaf. While opening/ closing the hangar door all leaves shall automatically travel in a staggered manner and will stop at its preset electrical limit switches.Additional pair of limit switches to be provided in each leaf to take care in case of failure of existing limit switches. Each door panel shall have an individual operation panel with deadman's control Forward, Reverse switches that shall let it to be operated in either direction at a slow speed to enable personal access or passage of small trolleys from any point in the door opening. Emergency Stop button switch to be provided in each door leaf so that if any of the emergency stop switches is pressed , the whole door shall stop immediately. The internal face of each door leaf is to be “boxed in” at low level along the complete width of the leaf to enclose the door wheels and drive motors Power is to be transmitted to each leaf by means of an enclosed duct type overhead conductor system with collector trolley . Each door leaf is equipped with weathertight sealing, on sides & joints with twin tapered EPDM wiper seals (color black) set in aluminum extrusions & in bottom with a heavy-duty nylon brush seal, which is retained in aluminum extrusions in each leaf which avoid the chances of any kind of wear & tear, corrosion and it also keeps the door free of infiltration Provision should be kept for Manual operation during power failure by de-clutching. Door shall be equipped with two inside & two outside emergency stop switches. Each leaf is to be fitted with an audible alarm and a visual alarm. The alarms shall start & continue to operate during door is in working condition.. The required civil work for installation of gate includes concreting for grouting , painting of entire door assembly (except painting of galvalume sheet) with two or more coats of Polyurethane paint of approved shade over one coat of epoxy primer etc. complete with prior approval /direction of the Engineer - in - Charge as required and as per technical specification enclosed complete as required. ( The Manufacturer of Sliding Gate shall have valid ISO 9001 : 2015 certificate, ISO 14001 : 2015 & BS OHSAS 18001 : 2007 certificate. )
CMC FOR FIVE YEARS AFTER DLP All inclusive Comprehensive maintenace of the entire system of 3 nos motorized sliding telescopic gates (includes gates, automation system with drives, electrical panels, wheels, bearings, rollers, chain sprouket , gear system, top & bottom track as provided under item no. 1 , including trouble shooting, preventive maintenance and break down maintenance as required as per good engineering practice, recommendation of the original equipment manufacturer, instructions of Engineer-in-Charge & as per terms and conditions specified in special conditions of contract. a) For first year (after completion of two year defects liability period)
