Schedule-1 Design & Documentation Work

Topographical Survey, Geotechnical investigation, Design, Drawing & Documentation work for Water supply and other ancillary works: Work Shall Include Design, Engineering, Preparation of Good for Construction drawing for civil, structural, mechanical electrical & instrumentation and vetting of major RCC structures from reputed Govt. institute (IIT/NIT or approved by Employer's Representative) Pipe line route survey ,Proposed & Existing Components Plot Survey,Household survey (Door to Door Survey), geo-tagging, Trial pits etc. as per Technical specification and as directed by Employer's Representative .

Schedule-2 Water Supply and ancillary works

Excavation in ordinary soil (loam, clay, sand) for pipe line trenches including lift up to 1.5 m and all leads with back filling in layers not exceeding 20 cm including consolidation, watering, ramming of excavated earth in the trenches.

Excavation in soil mixed with single bouldres etc. requireing the use of special T&P, if any, for pipe line trenches including lift up to 1.5 m and all leads with back filling, watering, ramming of excavated earth in the trenches.

Excavation in medium Rock by chiseling or mechanical means requireing the use of special T&P, if any, for pipe line trenches including lift up to 1.5 m and all leads with back filling, watering, ramming of excavated earth in the trenches.

Add to item 4.0 to 6.0 for for every additional 1.5 m. (5 ft) lift or part of 1.5 m.(5 ft).

Filling of earth in trenches or in embankment by available earth in the layers not exceeding 20 cm in thickness with consolidation of each layer by ramming with mechanical compector under optimum moisture content (OMC) to give atleast 95% of maximum dry density (proctor density). Boulders or broken rock pieces are not allowed in filling of earth. (other than item No. 4, 5 and 6).

Excavating, supplying, transporting of local earth (including royalty) by mechanical transport including all lead & lift ,loading & unloading at site etc. complete as per the direction of Employer's Representative.

Dewatering of water caused due to seepage of ground water and surface water, including rain etc. excluding excavation of foundation but during execution of civil works including supply of all machine operator, khalashi, POL, T&P, accessories required for proper completion of the work including disposal to the nearest drainage or as as directed by Employers Representative.

Providing and fixing Barricading at site of work for restricting the general public using 40 mm dia M.S. pipe ("B" class) as vertical post with average spacing of 1.80 meter between two vertical posts, having height at least 1.5 m above road/ ground level and at least 30-45 cm below road/ ground level by making suitable size hole in road/ ground, providing and fixing suitably two rows of 100 mm wide PVC Tape preferabley of red colour. The M.S. pipe shall be painted in red and white colour strips as per approved pattern as and when it becomes shabby but at least after every alternate shifting at new location. After shifting/ removal of barricading the hole shall be filled up properly and site is to be cleared in all respect. (Note: measurement is to be done in linear basis).

Providing and fixing Barricading at site of work for restricting the general public using 40 mm dia M.S. pipe ("B" class) as vertical post with average spacing of 1.80 meter between two vertical posts, having height at least 1.5 m above road/ ground level and at least 30-45 cm below road/ ground level by making suitable size hole in road/ ground, providing and fixing two rows of 40 mm dia M.S. pipe ("B" class) as horizontal members with nuts & bolts. Both vertical and horizontal members shall be painted in red and white colour strips as per approved pattern as when it becomes shabby but at least after every alternate shifting at new location. After shifting/ removal of barricading holes shall be filled up properly and site is to be cleared in all respect. (Note: measurement is to be done in linear basis).

Providing and erecting 2.00 metre high temporary barricading at site; each panel of size 2.50mx2.00m made of 40x40x6 mm angle iron or 50x50x3 mm hollow MS tube posts/horizontal members/ bracings covered with 1.63mm thick MS sheet. The sheet shall be fixed with 30x5mm MS flat by suitable welding/riveting. The panels shall be made so that gap of 50cm above the ground is available making overall height as 2.5m. MS channel ISLC 75 @ 5.70 kg/m, 50cm long shall be provided at the bottom having oval shaped holes of size 50x25mm at both ends with 50 cm long MS angle 40x40x6 mm bracing. Suitable arrangement shall be made to fix the barricading to avoid from overturning by providing 250 mm long expansion fasteners at both ends. The work shall be executed as per drawing/direction of Employer's Representative which includes writing and painting, arrangement for traffic diversion such as traffic signals during construction at site for day and night, glow lamps, reflective signs, marking, flags, caution tape as directed by the Employer's Representative. The barricading provided shall be retained in position at site continuously i/c shifting of barricading from one location to another location as many times as required during the execution of the entire work till its completion. Rate include its maintenance for damages, painting, all incidentals, labour materials, equipments and works required to execute the job. The barricading shall not be removed without prior approval of Employer's Representative.(Note : One time payment shall be made for providing barricading from start of work till completion of work i/c shifting. The barricading provided shall remain to be the property of the contractor on completion of the work).

Providing and laying sand bedding and encasing all around the pipeline in trenches including watering, ramming, consolidating and dressing complete as per technical specification & as directed by Employer's Representative.

Providing & laying Granular bedding with graded hard crusher broken stone of 100% passing through 20 mm sheive, 20 to 50 % passing through 10 mm sheive and 100 % retain on 6.3 mm sheive, laying in layers of thickness 10/15 cm including ramming, consolidation etc complete for all type of pipes of following sizes as per drawing and or as directed by Employer's Representative

Providing House Service Connection(Single Service connection) from Ductile Iron distribution main to AMR meter, including supply & fixing of brass ferrule confirming to IS: 2692, clamp saddle of non corrosive Engineering Plastic(Polyethylene) body moulded with Stainless Steel threaded metal insert for tapping outlet.The stirrup metal plate shall be duly embedded in the plastic body, except at the place of nut-bolt lugs.Threading size & dimensions shall confirm to IS :554. The design of the saddle body should be such that, the service connection outlet metal insert shall project out towards pipe side & align with hole drilled on the pipe to ensure positive locking against rocking or creeping on the pipe, as might be caused by vibration, pressure or excessive external loading. Saddle seal shall be of virgin rubber SBR Grade 30 / NBR (NSF 61 approved). It shall be of type pressure activated hydro-mechanical design. It shall be contoured gasket to provide a positive initial seal, which increases with increase in the line pressure.Gasket shall be gridded mat, with tapered ends, with the outlet section having ring contacting the saddle body multiple rings contacting the pipe, preferably with a stainless steel reinforcing ring insert moulded to prevent expansion under pressure. Stainless Steel Type 304, NC rolled threaded, Tightening torque for1/2"(M12) nut bolt: 14g.m and for 5/8"(M16) nut bolt:21-23kg.m. Drilling the DI pipeline shall be through the chain and rachet mechanism and the drill hole shall be perpendicular to the axis of the DI pipeline, including supplying & laying MDPE PE 80 PN16 blue pipe as per ISO 4427 upto the property limit of both sides of road including supplying & fixing PP compression fittings such as Metal Insert Female Thread Adaptor with SS304 material (2Nos), Double compression elbow with compression on both sides (4Nos) complying to ISO 14236-2000 and GI plug-in for closure of ends/GI pipe with union to joint with existing connection, SS Ball Valve, FVC. All Pipes & fittings shall be PN 1.6 rating including transportion, loading & unloading at site, all labours, tools, eqipments etc. complete work including connecting new house service pipeline to existing/new legal house connection after completing the distribution pipeline as per the drawing & as directed by Employer's Representative.(Road Cutting & Restoration shall be paid separately)

Cleaning of under ground sump, Over Head R.C.C. Tank ( independent staging) including disposal of slit and rubbish, all as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. The cleaning shall consist following operations:-(i)Tank shall be emptied of water by pumping & bottom shall be cleaned of silt and other deposits.(ii) Entire surface area of the sump shall then scrubbed thoroughly with wire brush etc. and pressure washed with water.(iii) Chlorination of RCC internal surface by liquid chlorine.(iv) The treated surface shall be dried using air jetting and all loose particles shall be removal from the surface.(v) Finally the surface shall be treated with ultraviolet radiation etc. all complete as per the direction of Employers Representative.

Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of IP-42 and general construction confirming to IS:8623 : 1993, wall/ free standing floor mounted dust and vermin proof compartmentalised cubical panel as specifications and Other parameters required as per point (a) ,(b), (c),(d), (e), (f), (g), (h) as below:- (a)Thickness of CRCA sheet shall be 2.0 mm, cable alley compartments having concealed hinged type doors with key type lock with / without detachable extension type structure. Removable 3 mm. thick sheet steel gland plates with appropriate size of knockouts for cables shall be provided (b)complete panel shall undergo a process of degreasing, Water rinsing, Activation, dedusting, pickling in acid bath, phosphatising & shall be subjected to nine tank process and then Powder coated with approved shade of minimum 70 microns on both side of panel. The panel having PE foam/ Neoprene rubber gasket of not less than 3mm thickness ,required hardware , concealed hinged door with key type locking arrangement for equipment/switchgear earthed with 2.5 sq.mm braided copper wire. [c) Interconnection between bus bar and switchgears /cable shall be rigidly supported and made out by flexible copper wires (up to 63 amp ) and by solid bus bar (>63 amp ) . control wiring will be carried out with 1.5 Sq.mm, Earth wire with 2.5 Sq.mm and CT with 2.5 sq.mm flexible copper wire only. All joints / interconnections of copper bus bar shall be dully tinned . Clearance between main bus bar and risers / metal parts shall be at least 10 mm additional to width of bus bar Bus bar is insulated by Heat Shrinkable sleeves . Earth and Neutral bus bar shall be half of the size of phase bus bar. (d)Wiring between components within switchgear and Incoming / outgoing cable shall be done through the terminal block only. Direct connection shall not be permitted. Each terminal block shall be one piece moulded, barrier type, 650 volt grade, complete with washers, heads, studs with two nuts and identification strips and shall have adequate continuous current rating. For tap-offs, adjacent terminals with shorting strips shall be used. 10% Spare terminal blocks shall be provided. Wire identification on marking strip shall correspond to the designation of the wiring diagrams. (g) Tests: The insulation resistance (with 1000 V Megger) and High voltage Power frequency test (by applying a voltage of 2.5KV for one minute) shall be measured between phases, between phase and neutral and between phase and earth. both before and after high voltage power frequency test. The insulation resistance shall not be less than three megaohm. CT Secondary current injection test shall also be carried out. (h) only outer surface area on all sides shall be measured & panel to be fabricated only from CPRI approved fabricator only (CPRI Test certificates to be submitted)All as per pre approved by Employers Representative.

Operation and maintenance Fee for 18 year Operation Service Period for producing and distribution (24x7) potable water conforming to the relevant Service Levels including all necessary tasks, activities and obligations as necessary for operation, maintenance and management of water production and distribution system and all related infrastructure, Tube Well, chlorination for disinfection, water quality testing and monitoring, flow and pressure measurement, management of water distribution to all connected customers, including planning, demand management, DMA and sub-DMA management, network operations, network management, leak detection, leak repair, connections management, all commercial services including meter reading, bill generation, distribution of bills, bill collection, customer services including recording and redressing customer complaints, all administrative and management tasks and all services to be provided as a prudent water supply service provider as well as cost of incentives, operations, spares, equipment, transport, tankered water supply, including all necessary preventive and reactive maintenance of all civil, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation units, transport, communications, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), reporting, including cost of all wages, chemicals, Fuel , consumables, spares, insurance, complete. Providing House Service Connection(Single Service connection) from Ductile Iron distribution main to property limit, including supply & fixing of brass ferrule confirming to IS: 2692, clamp saddle of non corrosiveEmployers Representativeing Plastic(Polyethylene) body moulded with Stainless Steel threaded metal insert for tapping outlet.The stirrup metal plate shall be duly embedded in the plastic body, except at the place of nut-bolt lugs.Threading size & dimensions shall confirm to IS :554. The design of the saddle body should be such that, the service connection outlet metal insert shall project out towards pipe side & align with hole drilled on the pipe to ensure positive locking against rocking or creeping on the pipe, as might be caused by vibration, pressure or excessive external loading. Saddle seal shall be of virgin rubber SBR Grade 30 / NBR (NSF 61 approved). It shall be of type pressure activated hydro-mechanical design. It shall be contoured gasket to provide a positive initial seal, which increases with increase in the line pressure.Gasket shall be gridded mat, with tapered ends, with the outlet section having ring contacting the saddle body multiple rings contacting the pipe, preferably with a stainless steel reinforcing ring insert moulded to prevent expansion under pressure. Stainless Steel Type 304, NC rolled threaded, Tightening torque for1/2"(M12) nut bolt: 14g.m and for 5/8"(M16) nut bolt:21-23kg.m. Drilling the DI pipeline shall be through the chain and rachet mechanism and the drill hole shall be perpendicular to the axis of the DI pipeline, including supplying & laying MDPE PE 80 PN16 blue pipe as per ISO 4427 upto the propert limit of both sides of road including supplying & fixing PP compression fittings such as Metal Insert Female Thread Adaptor with SS304 material (2Nos), Double compression elbow with compression on both sides (4Nos) complying to ISO 14236-2000 and GI plug-in for closure of ends/GI pipe with union to joint with existing connection. All Pipes & fittings shall be PN 16 rating including transportion, loading & unloading at site, all labours, tools, eqipments etc. including cutting of road surface, earthwork, refilling, and restoration of cut road surface , AMR Meters complete work including connecting new house service pipeline to existing/new legal house connection after commissioning the distribution pipeline as per the drawing & as directed by Employers Representative.
