M&L for repair to pot holes any depth, not exc 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) and making good by applying tack coat with bituminous primer VG-10 @ 5 Kg per 10 Sq m, putting in premix bituminious macadam, well rammed and sealed with premixed sand seal coat (9.8 kg of binder with 0.09 Cum of stone chipping, 6.3mm size), again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chipping) depth of potholes exc 30 mm complete all as specified and directed. Note: Pot holes shall be marked and checked by Engr-in-Charge for 100% quantity before commencement of work and shall also be entered in MB with reference to permanent objects before starting carpeting work.

M&L for Preparing of black top bituminous surfaces by brushing with brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with air pressure through air jet using air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc incl removing mud etc to a distance minimum 1.50m from edge of road and applying evenly a tack coat of bituminous primer using paving bitumen (VG-10) at the rate of 5 Kg per 10 Sqm of road surface by sprayer operated hot pressure mechanisum, supplying, laying, spreading 30mm consolidated thickness of semi dense asphaltic bituminous concrete carpet (VG-30) with 0.406 cum crushed and graded coarse aggregates with design mix formula with bitumen not less than 5.5% using paver with mechanical paver all as specified in clause device for automatic leveling and profile control within the specified tolerance as mentioned in SSR Part-I , rolled and consolidated to required camber and gradient with power roller for uniform smooth surface complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying, laying, spreading upto 75mm or less consolidated thickness of premix bituminous macadam carpet filling in depression (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) in single layer using mechanical paver using bituminous binder (VG-30) at the rate 4% by weight of total mix, laid/rolled and compacted/consolidated to required camber and gradient with 8 to 10 tone power roller to a uniform smooth surface complete all as specified and directed Note for item No's. 2 & 3: Based on job mix formula, in case the binder content (i.e. Bitumen) is less than the contents specified against these items then a minus adjustment @ Rs 40/- per kg of bitumen (less consumed) shall be applied on the quoted rate of contractor against these items, hence the quoted rate of contractor shall be reduced based on less content of bitumen required as per job mix formula. However, no price adjustment on plus side shall be made for increase of quantity of bitumen in case of required as per job mix formula.

M&L for applying evenly a priming /tack coat with paving bituminous VG-10 grade at 10Kg/10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs, delineator 1200mm long made of 2 mm thick steel sheet rectangular OD size 75 x 100mm. Bottom plate 2mm thick of size 150 x 150 mm for firm grip welded to base. Top end closed with 2mm steel sheet. At top on both sides diamond grade cube corner micro white reflector of size 75 x 125mm laminated in 2mm deep cavity to make it scratch resistant. Post to have two bands all around of white/yellow/red reflective sheet of width 225mm by keeping black coat as bands for greater night visibility. All coated with heat process and baked to 120°C or powder coated to make all weather resistant and fixing in cement concrete 1:2:4 with size of block 450mm x 450mm x600mm deep including required excavation and earthwork complete all as specified and directed. Note: The rate of PCC and earth work is included in this item and nothing shall be paid extra. Make- CAT Part No GPL-11-16 of Make – Greenlite Pvt Ltd or equivalent model manufactured by 3M India Ltd /Dark Eye.

S&F in replacement two way reflective road studs (Cats eye) of dimensions 110mm x 128mm x 29.50mm of impact resistance aluminium alloy body with Amber/red/ white reflective panels and fixing the same on road surface by applying approximately 100gm Epoxy mixture and placing the cats eye without applying excessive pressure and additional fixed with 12mm dia and 120mm long zinc plated steel nail at the centre of cats eye complete all as specified and directed. Note: Model No DA-971 of make Dark Eye or equivalent model manufactured by 3 M India Ltd, Greenlite Pvt Ltd .

S&F in replacement two way reflective Solar road studs (Cats eye) of dimensions 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 60mm) of high efficiency mono-crystalline solar panel 2.4V/0.30 Watt, one Ni-Mh of Ni-cd rechargeable battery (1.2V /1600MA), six super bright LEDs with 10000 to 18000 mcd (Millicandela) , view distance upto 1000 meters, flash rate 2 Hz and bearable weight of solar studs (10 Tone approx) with impact resistance aluminium alloy body with yellow/ red/ white/ green reflective panels and fixing the same on road surface by applying approximately 100 gm epoxy mixture and placing the cats eye without applying excessive pressure and fixed with 12mm dia and 120mm long zinc plated steel nail at the centre of cats eye complete all as specified and directed. Note : Model No DHRUV manufactured by M/S Dark Eye or equivalent model manufactured by 3M India Ltd, Greenlite Pvt Ltd.

Material and labour for painting lines, dashes, arrows letter, marking etc of 3m thick film on new surface or previously treated road surface with hot applied retro-reflective thermoplastic road marking paint (white/golden/yellow) conforming to MORTH (Clause 803.4) all as specified with 8% glass beads using special applicator machine with heating arrangement upto 160°C including cleaning and drying the existing road surfaces to ensure dust, oil, grease and moisture free surfaces before applying the paint complete all as specified and directed. S&F rubber speed breaker made from heavy duty rubber and polythylene with high resistance wear and tear property, height 3" for speed restriction, colours black and yellow combination, High reflective mark showing arrows in white marked on both side of yellow and black pieces, each side having end cap of size 250x1000x75mm and middle size of the speed breaker as 500x500mm with four holes fixed with epoxy and heardner and bolts with epoxy and hardener as per manufacturers instructions complete all as specified & as directed.
