Appendix A: Soil Exploration Works

56.13:Providing access to the site clearing site and making good for surveying in order to provide clear line of site devoid of any hindrance due to vegetation etc. and clearing areas for station points (This item is applicable only for sites without access such as in case of new road formation, bridge and building sites at in accessible locations).

56.1.a:Mobilization including transportation of all necessary plant and equipment's and materials of boring, field testing and sampling and demobilization after completing the work - For machine boring

56.2.a:Setting up boring at each bore hole locations including carrying all necessary plant, equipment and materials of boring and field tests and collection of samples at each bore hole location - For machine boring.

56.3.a.1:Boring with rotary power drilling equipment's in - all types of soil having N value less than 50 excluding hard rock, soft rock or medium rock for strata upto 10m including conducting necessary S.P.T and recovery of undisturbed soil samples at 5m intervals - For ordinary soil.

56.5.a:Boring through all classes of rock excluding hard rocks having N value greater than 50 using tungsten carbide drilling bit - In land

56.5.b:Boring through all classes of rock excluding hard rocks having N value greater than 50 using tungsten carbide drilling bit - In Water

56.3.b.1:Boring with rotary power drilling equipment's in - all types of soil having N value less than 50 excluding hard rock, soft rock or medium rock for strata next 10m and upto a depth of 20m including conducting necessary S.P.T and recovery of undisturbed soil samples at 5m intervals - For ordinary soil.

56.3.a.2:Boring with rotary power drilling equipment's in - all types of soil having N value less than 50 excluding hard rock, soft rock or medium rock for strata upto 10m including conducting necessary S.P.T and recovery of undisturbed soil samples at 5m intervals - For under water.

56.4:Boring through all type of hard rock or similar refusal strata of N value greater than 50 using diamond core drilling bit for in land under water and banks of river.

56.11.a:Compilation of all field data with recommendation for a suitable foundation after conducting necessary lab test (report in triplicate) - Machine boring for 5 bore holes.

56.11.c:Compilation of all field data with recommendation for a suitable foundation after conducting necessary lab test (report in triplicate) - Machine boring - Extra for additional set for bore holes exceeding 5 nos.

OD29550/2022-2023:CORE BOXES-of size 150*27*5.3 cm(4 slots for each box) including packing of samples with proper cushioning to avoid further damage during transportation.

Appendix B: Survey works

60.11.1:FIXING TBM- Supplying and fixing TBM with RCC 1:1.5:3 pillar block having a size of 30*30*75 cm, steel reinforcement for RCC work, painting top and sides of pillar with synthetic enamel paint, lettering in the pillar block with 8cm high "TBM" on one face and the reduced level on the outer face, etc complete, fixed in CC1:3:6 using 40 mm metal 55*55*60 cm etc complete and centering and shuttering including strutting , propping and removal of form work for pillar and foundation.

60.11.2:Taking FLY LEVELS- from the nearest GTS BM and closing on the starting BM including conveyance of instruments etc along road or in heavily built up area or in roads with heavy traffic or in thick jungle ( out turn 4000 m / day )

OD9877/2023-2024:Conducting topographic surveys on banks of rivers for taking cross sections at suitable intervals and preparing contour maps showing 2m interval contours using Total Station or such approved methods showing all topographic features like culverts and crossings, survey stones, and other permanent objects and the preparation and submission of maps at suitable scale (plan, cross sections, longitudinal sections, etc), indicating the contour lines 2m interval in digitized forms including supplying 5 numbers of soft copies CD/DVD, 5 numbers of hard copies of printouts, etc complete as per the direction of departmental officers at the site (outturn 3 hect/day)

OD9878/2023-2024:Conducting a topographic survey in the river for taking cross sections at suitable intervals and preparing contour maps showing 2m interval contours using Total Station or such approved methods showing all topographic features like culverts and crossings, survey stones, and other permanent objects and the preparation and submission of maps at suitable scale (plan, cross sections, longitudinal sections etc), indicating the contour lines 2m interval in digitized forms including supplying 5 numbers of soft copies CD/DVD, 5 numbers of hard copies of print outs etc complete as per the direction of departmental officers at site (outturn 6 hect/day)
