Earthwork in excavation by mechanical / manual means in all types of strata comprising any of the materials such as soil, sand, silt, clay, gravel, moorum of all varieties, shingles, pebbles, all types of conglomerates, laterite rock, soft rock, ordinary or disintegrated rock, weathered, fissured/shattered decomposed rock and all such other materials either in full or in parts as the case may be by adopting any approved method or methods as may be convenient or permitted inclusive of chiseling, wedging etc.in all conditions such as dry, moist, saturated, submerged, foul conditions etc. including pumping or bailing out water, including setting out construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious matter, dressing of sides and bottom and disposing of the surplus excavated soil / rock as directed by the Engineer in Charge etc. for a lead of 50 mts and all lifts etc. as specified and directed etc. all complete.

Transportation and Carriage of materials (Manure or sludge or earth) by tipper truck including loading, unloading and stacking for a lead upto 3.00kms all inclusive and as per the direction of the Engineer in Charge.

Clearing jungle including up rooting of rank vegetation grass bush wood trees and sapling of girth upto 30 cm. measured at a height of 1 m above ground level & removal of rubbish upto a distance of 50 mt. outside the periphery of the area cleared. (if however, only grass is met with the area will be measured and paid for under item 4001).
