Leak Rectification and Encasing of Ducts and Vessels in SA Plant, FACT-CD

Leak rectification of ducts and vessels in SA Plant . Works involes collection and transportation of MS / SS Plates [6mm / 8mm/10mm thk.] and required materials from CD-Stores. Necessary site arrangements including scaffolding shall be done where ever necessary. Fabrication / bending, shaping of plates to suit the requirement, identify the leaks, setting the suitable plates and weld properly to arrest the leak as per the instruction of Officer incharge to suit the site condition, removal of scaffolding and cleaning the site. Necessary repairs has to be attended on various high temperature ducts, Air ducts , vessels, bellows, converter nozzles/ boot etc which contains SO2 and SO3. Repair of size 250 mm x 250 mm is considered as 1 point.

Encasing on Various Vessels and Ducts with 3/6mm Thick SS Material. Work involves: Collection and transportation of 3/6 mm thick SS Plates and required consumables from CD-Stores.Necessary site arrangements including scaffolding shall be done.Encase the weak portions of the ducts/vessels with additional 3mm SS plates and full welding as per instruction of engineer in charge to meet the site conditions. The 3/6mm SS plate will have to properly rolled and formed to shape/profile and symmetry of the vessel being encased. All plate edges should be properly bevelled. All encased joints is required to be full welded.Necessary patchwork of the area to be encased has to done with SS/MS plates as instructed by engineer in charge.Encasing will have to be carried out at all elevations.After work completion clear the site and transport the the scrap to the scrap yard/area earmarked.
