Formation of access to the site, consisting of a strip of width about 1.5 m, along the length of the wall and through the arboraceous area along the compound wall stretch and a transverse path of width 1.5 m to 2 m, from existing access road to the above strip, by employing hydraulic excavator by cut and fill operation as well as uprooting medium size tree saplings of less than 30 cm girth, all complete.
Cutting down trees and tree branches near the compound wall, with roots causing or likely to cause structural damage to the wall or cause hinderance to the construction work.
The work to be carried out carefully using chainsaw, with rope protection, and the wood to be cut down in sections of approximately 1.5 m to 3 m length, and dropped carefully without damaging property or electric cable lines, if present. (Permission shall be obtained from KSEB and work shall be done in liasion with KSEB line staff). The cut sections to be stacked at site. The work includes cutting down fully. 1. twin trunk pala tree of girth about 1 m for each trunk till height about 5 m, total height about 10 m, 2. pala tree of girth about 1 m till height about 5 m, total height about 10 m, 3. Wild Jackgreen tree of girth about 1 m till height about 5 m, total height about 10 m, 4. Coconut tree of girth about 2 m till height about 5 m, total height about 10 m, 5. Choonda pana tree of girth about 1 m till height about 5 m, total height about 10 m, 6. Cutting about 20 branches of varying lengths and girth 40 to 60 cm, on 5 trees adjacent to compound wall
Credit for various tree logs of girth between 1 m and 2 m, of coconut, Wild Jackgreen tree , Pala, Choonda Pana, Badam, Kattadadi etc. (approximately 10 to 20 logs of varying lengths of 1.5 m to 3 m). Credit rate shall be inclusive of expenses incurred in loading, conveyance and unloading, and nothing extra shall be paid against any expenditure incurred in this item.

Demolishing brick work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge..

Seggregating and separating full bricks suitable for reuse from the dismantled and stacked bricks, refilling the remaining debris in the low lying area inside the compound etc.
Rate shall be inclusive of all labour charges, hire charges for all accessories for seggregating the bricks, removing plastering, and filling of debris prescribed as above, rate derived for each full brick salvaged.
Dismantling roofing including ridges, hips, valleys and gutters etc., and stacking the material within 50 metres lead of: Asbestos cement sheet
Dismantling steel work manually/ by mechanical means in built up sections without dismembering and stacking within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge
Credit for dismantled MS sections including carriage away from site.
Mechanically cutting and removing roots of trees in the foundation trench zone, prior to earthwork excavation. Measured per m length of foundation trench.
Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan) including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift up to 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m.

Taking out MS grill work on top of compound wall comprising of vertical 12 mm square rods of lenght about 1.15 m spaced @ about 7.5 cm C/C welded horizontally at top and middle on both sides by 50 x 50 x 5 mm MS flat, and embedded into wall through CC anchor blocks (dismantling of which is paid for separately), after breaking the connecting weld/sections at about 5 m interval, straightening the bent portions, welding any detachments, and stacking at site.

Finishing with Epoxy paint (two or more coats) at all locations prepared and applied as per manufacturer's specifications including appropriate priming coat, preparation of surface, etc. complete.

Finishing walls with water proofing cement paint of required shade :
New work (Two or more coats including a priming coat applied @ 3.84 kg/10 sqm).
Preparing surface of steel work for fresh coat of painting, by chiseling, sandpapering and wirebrushing to remove existing paint and rust.
