Tender for Repair of Pile and Slab type bank protection at Kaniyampuzha in Champakkara Canal of NW.3.

Repair of P & S

Site Clearance by cutting of grass, bushes etc., and removal of excess sand deposited over existing capping beam and clearing the gap between jetty and bank protection by removing waste materials as per the directions of E-I-C. The rate shall include bire charges of tools, disposal of debris, labour charges etc., complete.

Demolition of damaged existing RCC capping beam by using concrete breaker / manually and disposal of dismantled materials, stacking serviceable and unserviceable material separately including cutting reinforcement bars for providing of new capping beam for stregthening of jetty portion as per directions of E-I-C including hire charges of machineries, labour charges etc., complete.

Earth work excavation on the embankment of the existing pitching 60 cm wide and 1.00 cm M depth for placing geo-textile for preventing soil erosion and failure of the bank in future as per direction of E-I-C. The rate shall inclusive of hire charges of machineries and tools, labours etc., complete.

Supply and placing in position Geo-textile as per specification or equivalent filter for below revetment as per the approved specification and drawings and any other place as directed by the Engineer including over lapping, sticking, stretching with all lead lift labour. Tools & Plants floating crafts, divers, etc. complete.

Providing of pre-cast RCC slabs of new top slab of 10 cm thick and 1.30 M width, Anchor Slab of 1.00 x 1.00 x 0.10 M size including hoisting and placing in position as per directions of E-I-C including the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and labour charges but excluding the cost of reinforcement.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of grade 1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand : 3 graded stone aggregate - 20mm nominal size) for capping beam 150mm thick and extension of existing pile (0.30 x 0.30 x 1.30 M) along with providing of 35 mm dia hole at the centre of the pile for inserting anchor rod including centering & shuttering, curing etc., as directed by Engineer, including cost of materials, labour, Tools & Plants etc., complete.

Steel reinforcement for R.C.C capping beam including proper lapping of the bars as directed by E-I-C including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position & binding etc. complete.

Supplying and fixing steel plates of size 100 x 100 x 8 mm to be fixed at each pile location for support of Anchor as per directions of E-I-C. The rate shall include cost of steel plates, cutting into required size, welding and fixing of steel plate into one side of anchor rod, transportation, applying of one coat of metallic primer and two coats of black bituminous paint etc., complete.

Providing and fixing 32 mm dia Anchor rod for length 2.0 m as shown in drawing including cost of materials like washers, nuts etc., threading of rod upto a length of 20cm, applying of one coat of metallic primer and two coats of black bituminous paint and all labour etc. complete.

Earth work in filling the trench by soil obtained from the borrow pit made for laying geotextile layer, free from logs, stumps, roots rubbish etc., and placing the earth in layers not exceeding 225 mm in thickness, including levelling dressing, watering ramming and consolidating by approved means to the required profile under the direction of the Engineer, including all lift and leads.

Supply and spreading of red earth on the back side of the P&S protection, over the layer filled with available sand (above previous ground level) for getting strength for repaired bank protection as per directions of E-I-C. The rate shall include cost of red earth, transportation, labour charges for spreading etc., complete.

Procuring and applying of black bituminous paint to the piles before driving above the bed level as directed by the Engineer, including cost of all material labour etc. complete.
