Material and labour for repairing of lightning conductor & air termination rod single or multi pointed of any type and size including dismantling of the full set and refixing after cleaning, replacing nut bolts, making straight of GI/PVC pipes, refixing of clamps and nut bolts, fixing of earth strip with proper welding/jointing by nut bolts without any loose joints, replacing of defective/broken saddle piece of any size and type and from air termination point upto earth pit, re-allignment of earth strip by fixing it on wall and reparing of disturbed portion and making good as per existing complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for welding to GI Earth strip joints including replacement of existing nuts bolts joints complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for soldering/brazing to the copper/ aluminium strip joints in replacement of existing nuts bolts joints complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for painting of earth pit chamber of size 42x42x40cm by two coats of synthetic enamel paint after cleaning earth pit properly with iron wire brush and indicating board as per colour code complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for construction of earth pit made out of cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) and cover slab made out of precast RCC (1:1.5:3) type A-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) of size 42 x 42 x 5cm thick reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars @ 15 cm c/c both ways with 10mm dia mild steel round bar of 30 cm long, bent to shape as lifting handle, funnel, wire mesh including dismantling of old existing earth pit complete all as specified and directed .

Material and labour for earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode of size 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground with earth pit not less than 2.25 meter deep below ground level with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 meter below normal ground level connected to GI earth strip of size 32 x 6 mm earth lead by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts, washers of galvanised iron as steel, protected by 40 mm bore HDPE pipe of pressure rating 6 kgf/sqcm all as directed including cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-1 earth pit with precast RCC (1:1.5:3) type A-1 cover slab of size 42 x 42 x 5cm thick reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars @ 15 cm c/c both ways with 10mm dia mild steel round bar of 15 cm long, bent to shape as lifting handle, funnel, wire mesh, 20 mm bore galvanized iron pipe (medium grade) for watering, charcoal or coke and salt in alternate layers with necessary earth work in soft/loose soil complete all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part-I including testing on completion including taking down old existing unserviciable earthing complete all as specified and directed. Supply and installation of advance encapsulated compound based CPRI tested maintenance free, pipe-in-pipe technology upgraded (zinc & alloy coated), zinc coating ( 80-100) microns with pure zinc (99.9%) & alloy coating (200-250)microns. Earthing system conforming to IS-3034, ASEEL-39. The outer and inner pipe should be 76.2 mm & 41.9 mm, 3mtrs length, zinc coated with additional special alloy coating 300mm on the top side for additional corrosion protection of the terminal. The annular space between the pipes being filled up with COMPACT FILL(CF) (Crystalline Conductive Compound). The COMPACT FILL (CF) mixture which is machine pressed in the pipes should not disintegrate or collapse when outer pipe corrodes. The inner pipe should be extended with terminals for connectivity. The job includes digging the pits of dimension 60cm X 60cm up to depth of 3.1m and replace the soil with low resistive soil as approved by Engr-in-Charge, then make a bore of dia 200mm of depth 3.1m and refilling the same by conductolite back fill compound (Ground Enhancer), the BFC should be eco friendly it should not contain environmentally hazardous material / metal having RoHS Certification from NABL accredited lab. Good earth is to be arranged to fill the excavated pits by mixing the same with BFC 2 bags including FRP (Fiber reinforced plastic) light weight, high mechanical strength, chemical resistance with detachable easy locking lid of size 250mm X 250mm of thickness 2mm and the earthing should be installed by applicator of the manufacturer / authorised dealer including taking down old existing unserviciable earthing complete all as specified and directed. Supply and fix in repair earthing continuity of 20 x 3.15 mm copper strip with saddles and fixing screws on porecelain insulator/ spacer fixed at every 1 mtr length for extension of earthing strip on roof/wall and joining the same with existing/new earth test point complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair galvanised iron strip of size 32 x 6mm with saddles and fixing screws on poreceling insulator/ spacer fixed at every 1 mtr length for extension of earthing strip on roof/wall and joining the same with existing/new earth test point complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for air termination single pointed aluminium rod,12mm dia and 300mm long including necessary fixing arrangment using clamps,nuts and nuts including taking down old unserviceable air termination rod complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for PCC (1:2:4) type B-2 (using 40 mm grade stone aggregate) as in foundation, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

Use and waste of form work to sides of concrete foundations, footings, bases of columns, raft and raft beams, sides and soffits (if any) of foundation and plinth beams; and similar work; vertical or to batter with rough finished flat surfaces of concrete complete all as specified and directed.

Materials and labour for 15 mm thick rendering on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in cement mortar (1:4) and finished the surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

Materials and labour for complete removal of existing treatement of old steel surfaces of lightening tower (base size 3mx3m and height 12 mtrs) and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer complete structure painting upto top level all as specified and directed Note :- (i) Contractor shall ensure safety of Painter with proper sefety belt before climbing to tower. (ii) Any frame work structure if required at site which rates deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (iii) Contractor shall visit the site before quoting rates.

Supply and fix in repair test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25mm duly painted with 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint powder coated after applying 2 coat of primer over it drilled and screwed including 3 nos. 8mm dia 25mm long hex. head screw for lighting conductors including thermoplastic weather proof terminal empty box for fixing the terminal block complete all as specified and directed.

Materials and labour for cross arm bracings, supports, clamps of size 30x3mm and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of zinc chrome primer including dismantling of undersize / defected cross arms/ clamps of M.S. channel or angle of any sections complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in repair 32 mm dia high density polyethylene (HDPE) pipes of pressure rating 6 kgf/sq cm to protect earthing strip on wall or in floors etc complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for excavating for earth pit of size 45 cm x 45 cm x 60 cm into the adjacent of the high resistance value GI/copper earth pit, make a bore of dia 200 mm from the bottom of excavated pit upto a depth of 2 mtr and provide a 2mtr GI pipe (light grade) of 40mm bore and fill BFC compound conductolite (1 bag of 25 Kg) aroun the 40mm GI pipe in the 200mm bore hole and connect the 40mm GI pipe with GI strip of size 32 X 6 mm including connection with the existing strip by proper welding/soldering including returning filling complete all as specified and directed. Note:Joints at both ends of GI pipe and GI strip should be welded. Make of BFC:- ASHLOK / MACKMET/CAPE

Material and labour for maintenance of conventional earth pit comprises plastering of cracked earth pit cover in cement mortar (1:4), repalcement of PCC/MS sheet earth pit cover of any size and type, pouring salt water solution of salt and water ratio (1:3) (5Kg :15 Ltr) to bldg earthing, tightening of earth electrode, removing grass around the earth pit, replacement of funnels, watering pipe 20mm dia (light grade) complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for checking earth resistance reading for earthing and submit the report with result duly signed by the user as per format sample given in triplicate by department during execution of work complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Earth resistance to be checked as per the direction of Engr-in-Charge. (ii) Contractor should be responsible for provide testing equipment all as required without any extra cost.
