Amount

Raking out joints of stone masonry surface to the required width anddepth, with due care and precaution, by mechanical / manual means,including preparing and cleaning the surface for re-pointing/ refillingof joints, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within50 metre lead.

Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) onthe exterior side of building/structure, upto 25 metre height, aboveground level, including additional rows of scaffolding in stepped manneras per requirement of site, made with 40mm dia M.S. tube, placed1.5 metre centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joint with cup& lock system with M.S. Tubes, M.S. tube challis, M.S. clamps andstaircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. andmaintaining it in a serviceable condition for execution of work ofcleaning and/ or pointing and/ or applying chemical and removing itthereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings,runners, connecting with the building etc, wherever required, if feasible, for inspection of work at required locations with essential safetyfeatures for the workmen etc., complete as per directions and approvalof Engineer-in-charge.Note:- (1) The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measuredfor payment purpose. (2) The payment will be made once only forexecution of all items for such works.

Cleaning the sand stone surface and removing dirt, dust, bird dropping,grease, oil, algae, fungus, monkey beats, vegetable growth etc.,including providing, applying and washing the surface with liquidAmmonia Chemical of 5% solution and other chemical cleaning agentas approved by Archaeological Survey of India/ Engineer-in-charge,of approved brand and manufacturer , with the help of requiredscrubbers and also cleaning with machine operated water jet mixedwith desired quantity of fine silica where ever required, without causingany scratching/ damage to the stone surface and finally washing thesurface with clean water with the help of pressure jet machine,complete in all respect, including taking all precautions to safeguardventilators, windows, doors etc. by suitable covering so as to avoidany damage to the building /structure , all as per direction of Engineerin-charge (The rate is inclusive of all materials & labours involvedexcept scaffolding).

Providing and applying antifungal wash treatment using 3% solutionof sodium pentachlorophenate, of reputed brand and manufacturer,on cleaned sand stone surface at desired locations as per directionof Engineer-in-charge (The rate is inclusive of all materials & laboursinvolved except scaffolding).

Ruled / Flush pointing on Red sand stone masonry surface withlime, surkhi and marble dust mortar in the ratio of 1:1.5:1/2 {Onelime: 1.5 surkhi (50% red and 50% light yellow surkhi ) : 1/2 marbledust}. (The rate is inclusive of all materials & labours involved exceptscaffolding).

Applying two or more coat of Ethyl Silicate chemical as approved byArchaeological Survey of India/ Engineer-in-charge, of approved brandand manufacturer, with brush or spray on the existing stone masonrysurface till there is no further absorption of chemical by stone surface,including protecting the applied surface from direct sunlight by suitablemeans during application, all complete as per direction of theEngineer-in-Charge (The rate is inclusive of all materials & laboursinvolved except scaffolding).

Applying breathable, non-reactive, antifungal, and water repellantSilane/Siloxane chemical as approved by Archaeological Survey ofIndia/ Engineer-in-charge, of approved brand and manufacture, dilutedwith solvent mineral Turpentine oil in the ratio of 1:12 (One part ofapproved chemical :12 Part of Turpentine oil), on the existing sandstone masonry surface with two or more coats to give uniformapplication of chemical on the surface, all complete as per directionof Engineer-In-charge (The rate is inclusive of all materials & laboursinvolved except scaffolding).

Dismantling old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning thesurface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping groundwithin 50 metres lead.

20 mm cement plaster of mix :1:6 (1 cement: 6 coarse sand)

Removing dry or oil bound distemper, water proofing cement paintand the like by scrapping, sand papering and preparing the surfacesmooth including necessary repairs to scratches etc. complete.

Providing and applying plaster of paris putty of 2 mm thickness overplastered surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete.

Distempering with oil bound washable distemper of approved brandand manufacture to give an even shade :New work (two or more coats) over and including waterthinnable priming coat with cement primer

Finishing walls with Acrylic Smooth exterior paint of required shade :New work (Two or more coat applied @ 1.67 ltr/10 sqmover and including priming coat of exterior primer applied@ 2.20 kg/10 sqm)

Distempering with 1st quality acrylic distember (Ready mix) having VOC content less than 50 grams/ litre of approved brandand manufacture to give an even shade :Old work (one or more coats)

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade :One or more coats on old work

French spirit polishing :One or more coats on old work

Finishing walls with Acrylic Smooth exterior paint of required shade :Old work (Two or more coat applied @ 1.67 ltr/ 10 sqm)on existing cement paint surface

Polishing in high gloss/matt finish melamine clear polish on woodwork in required color/wooden shade texture with following processin the sequence as detailed below:

Cement concrete flooring 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 gradedstone aggregate) finished with a floating coat of neat cement, includingcement slurry, but excluding the cost of nosing of steps etc. complete.40 mm thick with 20 mm nominal size stone aggregate
