CWE/FZR-53/2020-21 Repair/Replacement and maintenance of transformer and HT external electric supply and HT underground cable at various locations under GE Ludhiana

Opening of all electrical connection HT/LT from the bushings/terminal box of the unserviceable distribution transformer of indoor/outdoor type from existing position i.e. two pole structure or PCC foundation of capacity 63 to 160 KVA, of any make and specification for repair, transporting the transformer to authorised repair workshop(upto 100 KM), opening of top cover including conservator, breather and allied items, inspecting the same to assess the repairs required,carryout the repairs. Cleaning, greasing and overhauling including taking out and replacement of unserviceable/worn out parts with new parts, fixing parts by draining out transformer oil complete all as required to make the transformer serviceable. Refilling dehydration of transformer oil after reassembling after repairs, bringing back to the location where the transformer was installed, fixing in original position, connecting all electrical/mechanical connection and testing and commissioning on load as per capacity complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per Serial item No 1 here-in-before but transformers of capacity 200 KVA to 400 KVA. Notes for item No 1 & 2:- (i) Spare part for repair and dehydration of oil shall be measured and paid separately under the schedule item respectivelly. All parts/components replaced shall be identical to those specified by original manufacturer (ii) Transformer oil required for de-hydration shall be measured and paid seperately. (iii) Additional Transformer oil required for Topping up shall be measured and paid seperately.

Taking out of burnt HT/LT Primary / secondary winding from the unserviceable transformer of any capacity. cleaning all the limbs, rewinding with super enamelled copper wire of same specification of HT/LT winding with suitable gauge by calculating numbers of turns as per voltage of transformer complete, varnishing and drying by vaccum impregnating, replacing insulating material, nut bolt etc and testing as per latest IS/BS specification complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and filling transformer oil ISI marked in sealed containers for transformers, confirming to IS-335 with dielectric strength of 50 KV and testing for strength including recording results complete all as specified.

Filtration and dehydration of transformer oil to achieve, the required dielectric strength not less than 45 KV, and testing for strength including drainingout of oil and refilling of oil in transformer complete all as specified and directed.The test result of dielectric strength to each transformer shall be submitted by the contractor to Engr-in-Charge in writing before claiming any payment .

Supply only, LT 415 Volt bushing porcelein vitreous brown body 1100 volt grade as per IS 3347 (ISI marked) for transformer capacity upto 400 KVA complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only LT 415 volt threaded brass bushing rod with nuts, check nuts and washers for transformer capacity 63 to 160 KVA ISI marked complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only LT 415 volt threaded brass bushing rod with nuts, check nuts and washers for transformer capacity 200 KVA to 400 KVA ISI marked complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only HT bushing porcelein vitreous brown body 11 KV grade as per IS 3347 suitable for transformer of capacity upto 400 KVA complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only HT threaded brass bushing rod with nuts, check nuts and washers for transformer capacity 63 to 160 KVA ISI marked complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only HT threaded brass bushing rod with nuts, check nuts and washers for transformer capacity 200 KVA to 400 KVA ISI marked complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply only of cork sheet for top cover of transformer 63 to 400 KVA capacity complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F for switch air break gang operated tripple pole 11000 volt 400 amps mechanically operated, mounted on HT insulators 12 Nos and MS galvanized frame with operating rod of 25 mm bore medium grade GI pipe worked from ground level with locking arrangement for current rating with 12 insulator with drop out expulsion type fuse complete with nuts, bolts and washers etc as required including one coat of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer including making connection complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement Lightning arresters Gapless Metal oxide type consisting of Zinc Oxide varistors, FRP core and silicone housing complete with all fitting transmission class discharge capacity 65 kilo amps 11000 volts complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement expulsion fuse single pole (drop out fuse) mounted on insulator & steel frame 100 Amps for 11000 V grade. complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of unserviceable worn out/weathered/ damaged ACSR conductor, service feeder of any size from pole after disconnecting of jumpers and insulator bindings complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for ACSR conductor of any size including all binding wires and aluminium jointing, jumpering etc on LT lines complete all as specified and directed

Material and labour for pin type, porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green insulator of size 150 mm height, 150 mm dia, including one galvanized mild steel spindle, two galvanized iron washers and one galvanized iron nut for 11000 volts grade complete all as specified as directed.

Material and labour for disc type insulator , porcelain vitreous, 145mm high and 255 mm dia ball and socket type, white or green, single disc assembly for tension with tension clamps for conductors, working pressure 11000 volts. complete all as specified and directed.

S&F GI pipe light grade 80 mm dia for protection of cables. complete all as specified and directed.

Boring of holes under road, pavement, hard standing by trenchless technique and necessary T&P for passing of LT/HT cables. complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying, laying, jointing, testing and commissioning HT XLPE cable, 11000 volts (earthed), insulated, screened, sound compacted aluminium conductor, screening with extruded semi conducting layers, insulation screening with copper tape covers laid up with PVC (ST-2), extruded inner sheathed GI strip armoured PVC (ST-2) out sheathed, ISI marked with IS-7098 Part II with amendment, size 95 Sqmm, 3 core , laid in trenches /pipes /ducts /along poles/ walls/ equipment etc including taking down of old cables complete all as specified and directed. NOTES : (i) Excavation & earth work, sand cushioning, protection pipes, end termination joints & protection covers shall be measured and paid separately.

M & L for painting to existing feeder piller box with two coats of smoke grey enameled paint over one coat of red oxide primer including removing of old paint scratching and perparing the suface complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for painting to existing transformer of capacity 63 to 100 KVA with two coats of smoke grey enameled paint over one coat of red oxide primer including removing of old paint by scratching complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per Serial item No 30 here-in-before but for capacity 125 to 200 KVA.

Excavation in trenches in soft or loose soil, not exceeding 1.5 metre deep and not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and getting out complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in trenches including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing surplus excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 Mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 Mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & labour for sand cushioning in trenches and well ramming in layers for cable cushioning with fine dry sand and complete all as specified and directed.Notes-:(i) Excavation and earth work to be measured and paid for separately. (ii)Thickness of 18cms after punning shall be considered for payment.

M & L for precast concrete cable cover class HVP type 1 peak size 300mmx 180mm and thickness 40mm laid flat, dry and adjacent to each other, perpendicular to the central axis of the cable in trenches, complete all as specified & directed.

M&L Earthing complete incl with earth work with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60cmx60cm, 6.0 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically at a depth not less than 2.25 metres below normal ground level with top edge of the plate at a depth not less than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connected with and including GI strip 32mm x 6mm with & including GI pipe 50mm bore medium grade as protection pipe (upto the body of equipment max 7.50metre) by means of GI bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of GI and thimbles, earth plate surrounded by packed layers of coal dust and common salt 15cm thick, all around top and bottom and watering pipe 20mm bore of GI pipe light grade with funnel and wire mesh complete all as shown in Electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I (2009), testing on completion including PCC chamber (1:3:6) using 20mm graded stone aggregate and RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 cover and angle iron frame complete all as specified.

Disconnecting of HT connections and DC connections from existing bus bar and disconnecting trolley including servicing of complete parts of VCB, cleaning with carbon tetra chloride, lubrication of mechanical parts,repairs to control wiring with single core copper conductors of existing size as required at site of VCB of any type, any make for satisfactory running and replacement of defective spare parts, applying one coat of 11 KV insulation paint on busbar, spouts and other connected parts and reassembling the same re-connecting all HT & AC / DC connections complete in functional order including testing on existing load complete all as specified and directed. Note: Spare parts shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items of this schedule as supply only (in replacement). These shall be identical to those specified by original manufacturer. Small parts such as nuts, bolts, screws & washers required at site are deemed to be included in the cost quoted by the contractor

M&L for pinpointing of 11 KV underground HT cable fault of any size with help of cable fault locating (CFL Machine) consisting of DC testing, thumping system and DIGI point sensor complete to locate the exact fault location complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only Space Heater 240 Volt single phase. complete all as specified and directed.
