Excavation in earth work in hilly area by manual means in all heights and depths in all kinds of soil including saturated soil comprising of pick, jumper, blasting work both in soft and hard rock with chiseling/wedging out of rock( where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil including, dewatering wherever required setting out to the required line grades, side slopes trimming bottom and level as shown on the drawings as directed by Engineer -In- Charge at site according to technical specifications clause 1603.1 sorting out useful/un useful materials and stacking the same in all leads and lift and transportation of the un-useful materials for filling in road ways, embankment for grades improvement and leveling to the required grade and then disposing of surplus excavated earth in acquired width of roads or on approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load animal load or mechanical means along with its leveling fine dressing and all labour, machineries, materials, tools equipments and safety measures and incidentals necessary to complete the work by all means . Any loss to the public and private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all respect. Including all leads and lifts of material and as per direction of Engineer -In Charge.

Excavation in earth work for structure in all heights and depths in all kinds of soil including saturated soil comprising of soil ordinary, & blasting work soft and hard rock with chiseling/wedging out of rock( where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil. If water is met in the spring seepage rain and other causes it shall be removed by suitable diversion, pumping and bailing out and the excavation shall be kept dry wherever so required by the contractor at his own cost , including dressing of slopes and beds setting out confirming to required lines, grades , side slopes as shown in the drawing and direction of Engineer-in-charge and transportation soil to road way and then disposing of surplus excavated earth in required width of road or on approved dumping sites including its stacking leveling and dressing in all leads and lifts through all modes of transportation including head load animal load or mechanical means or other incidentals to complete the work as per technical specifications clause 305.1. All useful materials, such as stone shingles agg. and slates shall be sorted out and stacked along road sides to the maximum possible extent in all leads and lifts. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of execution of disposal of serviceable and un-serviceable materials shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all respect including all leads and lifts of materials as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying cement concrete for plain/reinfocement concrete 1:6:12 (One cement : Six sand :twelve graded stone aggregate 40mm forty miilimetre nominal size) mechanically mixed in open foundations and plinths complele as per drawings and technical specification clause 802,803,1202 and 1203 and curing complete including the cost of form work and hauling/carriage of all labour equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying cement concrete for plain concrete in open foundation 1:5:10 (One cement : four sand :eight graded crushed stone aggregate 40mm (forty milimetre nominal size) nominal mix as per drawing and technical specifications clauses 802,803,1202 and 1203 including the cost of form work and curing and hauling/carriage of all labour equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing concrete for plain reinforced concrete in open foundation complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 802,803,1202 and 1203 PCC. Grade M-10 (M-Ten) using graded stone aggregate 40mm (forty millimetre nominal size) including the cost of form work and curing and curing and hauling/carriage of all labour equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Random rubble masonry in cement mortar 1:6 ( one cement: six sand ) in sub structure as per drawing and technical specifgication clause 702,704,1202 and 1206 including hauling/carriage of all labour equipment and materials to various location through all modes of transportation in all leads and lift to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Coursed rubble stone masonry (2nd sort) in cement mortar 1:5 (one cement: five sand) in sub structure complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 702,704,1202 and 1206 including hauling/ carriage of all labour equipment and materials to various location through all modes of transportation in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Construction of dry rubble masonry for breast and retaining wall , revetment wall and parapets etc for sub structure and super structure as per drawing and technical specifications clause 1604 and 704.6 complete in all respect including hauling/ carriage of all labour equipment and materials to various location through all modes of transportation in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Back filling with granular materials behind abutment, wing walls and return walls complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 1206.3 including haulage/carriage of all labour equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportations in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing weep holes in brick masonry /stone masonary/ plain reinforced concrete abutment,wing wall,returen wall with of 100 mm (one hundred milimetre) dia PVC pipe extending through the full width of the structure with slope of1( v):20( H) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specifications clause 614,709,1206.6 including hauling/ carriage of all labour equipment and materials to various location through all modes of transportation in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete pipe 900 mm (Nine hundred milimetre) dia NP3 for culverts on Ist class bedding of granular material in single row including fixing collar with cement mortar 1:2 ( One cement : 2 sand ) but excluding excavation protection work and back filling concrete and masonry work in head wall and parapets clause 1101 including hauling/ carriage of all labour equipment and materials to various location through all modes of transportation in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying dry rubble flooring as per drawing and technical specifications Clause 1303.3 including hauling/ carriage of all labour equipment and materials to various location through all modes of transportation in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Preparation of sub grade by dressing to camber (Earth work for the cutting involved for sub-grade to be paid for separately depending upon the classification of soil complete) as per HP.PWD specifications including hauling/carriage of all labour equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportations within all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Consolidation of sub grade with road roller including making good the undulation etc. with earth or quarry soil etc. and rerolling the sub-grade complete as per HP.PWD specifications including hauling/carriage of all labour equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportations within all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Construction of granular sub-base by providing well graded materials as per table 400.1, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per Technical Specification Clause 401 including hauling/carriage of all labour equipments and materials to various locations through all modes of transportations within all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of 63mm to 45mm sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kN in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening.binding materials to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density grading II as per Technical Specification Clause 405. By mechanical meansincluding hauling / carriage of all labour equipment and materials to various location through all modes of transportation in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing,laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of 53mm to 22.4mm sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-10 kN in stages proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density Grading III as per Technical specification Clause 405. (By Mechanical means) including hauling/ carriage of all labour equipment and materials to various location through all modes of transportation in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70-1.0 kg.sqm (zero point seventy - one point zero kilogramme) using mechanical means as per Technical specification clause 502. including hauling/ carriage of all labour equipment and materials to various location through all modes of transportation in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.25 to 0.30 kg ( zero point two five to zero point three zero kilo gramme)per square on the prepared granular surfaces treated with primer and cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per technical specification clause 503. including hauling/ carriage of all labour equipment and materials to various location through all modes of transportation in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing, laying and rolling of open-graded premix carpet of 20 mm (twenty milimetre) thickness composed of 13.2 mm (thirteen point two milimetre) to 5.6 mm (five point six milimetre) aggregates using penetration grade bitumen VG-10 @ 1.46 kg per Square metre or emulsion to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kN static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat of Type B as per Technical specification Clause 506. (By mechanical Means (i) Bitumen binder VG-10 including hauling/ carriage of all labour equipment and materials to various location through all modes of transportation in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying seal coat sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using bitumen VG-10 @ 0.68 Kg. per square metre Type B as per Technical Specification Clause 508.(by manual means) using bitumen binder VG-10 including hauling/ carriage of all labour equipment and materials to various location through all modes of transportation in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.(by manual means)

Construction of hill side V-Shape drain 0.45 x 0.25 ( zero point four five x zero point two five metre) laying 10 cm ( Ten centimetre thick) M-10 grade nominal mix in cement concrete 1:3:6 (One cement : Three sand : Six graded stone aggregate 20mm (Twenty millimetre nominal size) in accordance with the requirement of specification true to line and grade . Dimension and other particular as per drawing and technical specification clause 1606.1 including hauling/carriage of materials and all labour equipments to various locations throughn all modes of transportations within all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Construction of parapets with cement concrete 1:4:8 (One cement : four sand : eight graded stone aggregate 40mm ( Forty millimeter )nominal size and curing complete including the cost of form work with steel plates as per drawing and technical specifications clause 802,803,1202 and 1203 including hauling/ carriage of all labour equipment and materials to various location through all modes of transportation in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Construction of subgrade and earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of Table 300.2 as per Technical Specification Clause 303.1 including hauling/ carriage of all labour equipment and materials to various location through all modes of transportation in all leads and lifts to the entire satisfaction as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
