Dismantling and Removal of Lighting tower and foundation at Q10 Berth FACT, W/Island

Cutting, Dismantling and Transportation of structurals: Work involves: Make required site arrangements for the work including clearing the vegetation around the tower and providing scaffolding. Cut and dismantle part by part entire structurals, supports and platforms.Cutting and dismantling shall be executed as per the instructions from site in charge. Any temporary support required for dismantling shall be done by the contractor. The dismantled plates/structures etc shall be transported to the scrapyard in FACT-CD after weighing. Scope of arranging cuttings gases(oxygen,DA/LPG) for required quantities, trucks and trailers of various capacities required for cutting, dismantling, loading and transporation and unloading at scrap yard/earmaked area shall be in the scope of this contract. Crane for cutting and dismantling the tower at the site, smaller crane for loading to trucks/trailers and unloading at scrap yard/ear marked area shall be under the contractors scope. Site shall be cleared after work, dismantle temporary supports if any and any left over scrap shall be shifted to scrap yard.

Demolishing the foundation( C.C/ R.C.C): After the dismantling of tower the foundation has to be fully demolished and the site shall be cleared as per the following. Demolishing the foundation( C.C/ R.C.C). work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of steel bars and disposal of unserviceable material as per direction of engineer - in- charge. The dismantled plates/structures etc shall be transported to the scrapyard in FACT-CD after weighing. Disposal of moorum/building rubbish/ malba/ similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste material as mentioned in special conditions of work by mechanical transport including loading, transporting, unloading to approved municipal dumping ground for lead upto 25 km for all lifts, complete as per directions of Engineer-in-charge
