| 2.00Laying, jointing with circumfrential butt welded joints by electrical arc welding 100% with but welding ( welding thickness shall be equal to pipe wall thickness) and testing of GI pipe of apprved store issued rate make of following diameter Conforming to IS 1239-1990 (Part-II),(Latest with upto date amendments having wall thickness as specified below capable of with standing required test pressure, including manufacturing and febrication of reducers/ tapers , all short pieces, bends etc. as per site requirement made from parent tubes . The laying of pipe shall also include butt welding joints duly welded in layers (Two outer), where ever required as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge (Earth work in trenches will be measured and paid for separately) and all operations such as cutting, welding, jointing, fabrication of bends, tees i.e. lowering and laying in excavated trench to ensure required level including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respects to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer in charge.
