Strong Motion Accelerograph (Accelerometer with Data Acquisition & Communication System including software and all components & accessories) for Field Stations (Observatories), dam crest / free field and galleries conforming to the requirements specified in Technical specification.The system shall include indoor type Surge Protectors and other accessories etc as per specifications with necessary weather proof enclosures etc for data acquisition and for the protection of all components.
VSAT system for field stations (Observatories) including; • ODU (Antenna with transceiver). • IDU. • AC adapter. • DC adapter. • Ethernet Cable, Connectors etc. conforming to the requirements specified in Technical specification.The system shall include indoor type Surge Protectors and other accessories etc as per specifications.
Solar Power System for field stations (Observatories) as Primary Power System including Solar panels, Charge controller, battery and all cables, cable connectors, mounting racks, indoor type Surge Protection devices and any other accessories conforming to the requirements specified in Technical specification.
Secondary Power System for the Broad Band Seismographs at field stations (Observatories) including Battery, Stabilizer, Battery charger, indoor type Surge Protection devices and any other accessories, conforming to the requirements specified in Technical specification.
Secondary Power System for the Strong motion Accelerographs at field stations (Observatories) including Battery, Stabilizer, Battery charger, indoor type Surge Protection devices and any other accessories, conforming to the requirements specified in Technical specification.
Secondary Power System for VSAT at field stations (Observatories) including Battery, Stabilizer, Battery charger, indoor type Surge Protection devices and any other accessories conforming to the requirements specified in Technical specification.
Power system for the Strong Motion Accelerographs at various installation locations in dam crest / free field and galleries by extending cables (from the main KSEBL supply point including providing a common control switch at starting point) using 2.5 mm2, 3 core armoured cable with all accessories and including Battery for back up, Stabilizer & Battery charger (IP 67 rating) with spike protection / DC-DC converters, and any other accessories, conforming to the requirements specified in Technical specification.
Desktop Computer for Control Room in Dam Safety Organisation building,Pallom for data acquisition and analysis including necessary softwares and all accessories conforming to the requirements specified in technical specification.
Laptop for the field (Idamalayar,Sholayar and Poringalkuthu field offices) including software and all accessories conforming to the requirements specified in Technical specification.

Installation, Testing and commissioning of Desktop Computer at Control Room in Dam Safety Organisation building, Pallom with necessary softwares etc complete conforming to the requirements specified in Technical Specifications, and providing necessary training as directed by the Engineer in charge.
Installation, Testing and commissioning of Laptop with necessary softwares etc complete conforming to the requirements specified in Technical Specifications, and providing necessary training as directed by the Engineer in charge.
Integrating the data obtained from the newly added seismic equipments with the existing KSEBL network system of seismic equipments and connected CRS at Thiruvananthapuram,making arrangements to obtain all seismic datas received at CRS, Thiruvananthapuram in the desktop computer installed at the Control Room in Dam Safety Organisation building, Pallom via the SEED link or any other alternative methods. The work includes installation of all necessary softwares etc as directed by the Engineer in charge.
Recurring Expenditure for VSAT (for five years)
In Route: 36 kbps TDMA in route bandwidth for Total networking including DOT & WPC share for total network.
Out Route: 16 kbps TDMA satellite bandwidth charges for total network including DOT and WPC revenue share and VSAT network monitoring charges for total network.
Backhaul connectivity: 24 kbps SCPC Satellite bandwidth link charges for KSEBL including DOT and WPC revenue share and VSAT network monitoring charges for total network.
CAMC charges of entire system including Seismic equipment, Data Acquisition & Communication System, maintenance of Computers,maintenance related with integration of data with the CRS system at Thiruvananthapuram and obtaining all seismic data from CRS, Thiruvananthapuram in the desktop computer at Control Room in Dam Safety Organisation building,Pallom, VSAT system (including spare parts, modules, cards, subunits, consumables, IDU, ODU, Modem, Routers, antennas, cables, connectors,SPDs,field visit charges, providing training, repairing charges, transportation, maintenance cost of entire system including that of related civil works) Lightning Protection, Earthing and Surge protection etc. complete for Year I after warranty period.
CAMC charges of entire system including Seismic equipment, Data Acquisition & Communication System, maintenance of Computers, maintenance related with integration of data with the CRS system at Thiruvananthapuram and obtaining all seismic data from CRS, Thiruvananthapuram in the desktop computer at Control Room in Dam Safety Organisation building,Pallom, VSAT system (including spare parts, modules, cards, subunits, consumables, IDU, ODU, Modem, Routers, antennas, cables, connectors, SPDs, field visit charges, providing training, repairing charges, transportation, maintenance cost of entire system including that of related civil works) Lightning Protection, Earthing and Surge protection etc. complete for Year II after warranty period.
