Offer Rate Tenders will be received in sealed cover addressed to The Chief Accountant,

Surat Municipal Corporation, Surat-395003 with the name of work written on the top of envelop

by the Accountant in his office by R.P.A.D. or Speed Post only from 01/08/2026 TO

21/08/2026 at 5:00 P.M. standard Time and will be opened on the next day if possible. A sum

of Rs.70,000.00 on account of earnest money should be paid in the Municipal Treasury by

Demand Draft or Pay Order payable at Surat only. Earnest Money in the form of cheque will

not be accepted. The Amount will be forfeit in case after his quotation is accepted, the

contractor does not complete the contract documents and pay the amount of Security Deposit

of 2% (Two percent) of the tender value within the specified time, otherwise it will be

refunded. The work is to be completed within 3 years from the date of written order to

Technical bid of bidders will be opened first and tender found un-conditional, Earnest Money

Deposit Cover, Registration Certificate, Experience Certificate, Audited Balance Sheet of last

financial year and Solvency Certificate then after price bid will be opened by competent

authority. If technical bid founds insufficient documents then the Price Bid of the tender shall

(ii) A list of work in hand showing the cost of the work to be completed against each the

certificate from the Head of Office concerned.

(iii) Every contractor shall furnish along with the tender, information regarding income-tax

form the date of payment. Remittance of GST within stipulated period shall be the sole

responsibility of the Successful Bidder / Contractor , failing which , SMC may recover the

amount due , from any other payable dues with SMC and decision of Municipal Commissioner

shall be final and binding on the Contractor / Successful Bidder in this regard. Further, the non-

payment of GST to the Government may lead to the termination of contract and forfeiture of

Security Deposit / Performance Guarantee Amount.

If imposition of any other new Taxes / Duties / Levies / Cess or any other incidentals etc. or any
