Eligibility Criteria

The pre-bid meeting will be held at Executive Engineer PWD Division Kalaburagi at 11.30 am on dated: 01.06.2026

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Those who are intrested to participate in this tender should attend pre bid meeting as mentioned above date. If not attend meeting will not be eligible for participating in tender.

Agency / firm should upload Pre-bid meeting attended certificate issued by EE PWD Division Bidar in KPPP otherwise bid will be rejected

Any dispute between department and the firms / agencies during demolition shall be settelled as per the department rules if any.

Contractor has to arrange all machinaries required for the work to make sure all vehicles used for the purpose of demolition work should have proper documents and drivers should have proffessional documents.

After handing over the existing building for demolition, the firm / agencies will be responsible for the safety of labors, staffs and all activities on the site.

Before demoliting electrical supply will be disconnected from existing building.

Demolition of all material, stacking of servicable material and disposal of un-servisable material to the appropriate disposal area as per the direction of site in charge.

The contractor firm must have the own machineries i e ((1) Tippers 2 nos (2) JCB 1 nos (3) Hitachi 1 nos (4) Hammer drill 2 nos. otherwise tender will be rejected.

The contractor / firm must upload documents related to own machinaries and equipements.

The demolition tender quoted rate starts from Rs: 2.00 Lakhs.

Quoted rates below Rs: 2.00 Lakhs will be rejected.

To qualify for award of this contract, each Tenderer in its name should have in the last five years i.e., 2021-22, 2022-23, 2023-24,2024-25 & 2025-26 a) Achieved in at least two financial years an average financial turnover (in all classes of civil engineering construction works only) of Rs. 100.00 Lakhs (Turn Over certificate must have UDIN Number Otherwise it will not be considered)

To qualify for award of this contract, each Tenderer in its name should have in the last five years i.e., 2021-22, 2022-23, 2023-24,2024-25 & 2025-26 (b) satisfactorily completed as prime contractor, at least one similar work such as for which tender called of value not less than Rs. 31.00 Lakhs

The EMD of Rs. 1,00,000 shall be paidin full through e payment

The agencies / firms should be registered Civil Contractor Only in Karnataka PWD

Period of completetion will be 30 days from the date of issue of work order

Bidders must have List of self-owned demolishing, handling, dismantling, transporting equipment.

The existing building is about 60 years old and consists of ground floor.and First floor The area and materials mentioned are approximate and only indicative. The interested Applicants/Bidders can inspect the building for gathering necessary information before submission of the bids.

The bidder shall demolish the complete building including the foundation, plinth protection, flooring in and around the building and all other structures including RCC slabs, beams, columns, masonry walls, doors, windows, ventilators, plumbing and sanitary fixtures, electrical fittings and all other items excluding the outer compound wall as per the instruction of the engineer.

During demolition process, if any excavations made in the site leads to discovery of any archaeological artefacts items of archaeological interest, the same need to be reported to the Department of Archaeology of the Government of India for further proceedings should be as per the direction and prevailing rules of Archeology Department.

The bidder shall visit the site and make himself thoroughly acquainted with the local site condition, nature and requirement of the works, facilities for transport, nature of labour required, access and storage for materials and removal of wastes. The Bidders should quote taking into account all the site conditions including traffic restriction for transport etc., for proper execution of thework. The successful Bidders will not be entitled to any claim of compensation for difficulties faced or losses incurred on account of any site condition.

All tools, equipments and other required facilities for execution of work shall be provided by the Contractor

The Contractor shall arrange to provide first aid treatment to the labourers engaged on the works. He shall within 24 hours of the occurrence of any accident at or about the site or in connection with executionof the works, report such accident to the Employer and also to the competent authority where such reportis required by law

On completion of the works the Contractor shall clear away and remove from the site all debris, unserviceable materials, plant& equipments, tools, surplus materials, scraps, rubbish and temporary works of every kind and leavet he whole of the site and the works clean and in a work man like condition to the satisfaction of the Employer.

The term Dafina Act 1971 refers to the Indian Treasure-trove Act, 1878, which was amended in 1971. This act outlines the legal framework for handling treasure found within India. It specifies procedures for reporting, seizing, and managing treasure, including its potential transfer to the Archaeological Survey of India or the government treasury.

The Contractor shall, at his own expense insure the works , effect and maintain till the completion of the contract a Contractors All Risks Policy (CAR)for Insurance, with an insurance company approved by the Employer, for the full amount of the contract .The scope of the cover shall include fire, lightning, explosion, crashing, aircraft, extinguishing water or other fighting measures, flood, inundation , rain, windstorm of any kind, earthquake, subsidence, landslide, rockslide, bad workmanship, lack of skill, negligence , malicious acts or human error, additional cover for third party liability and surrounding properties. The CAR shall be held in the joint names of the Employer and the Contractor (the name of the former being placed first in the policy.) with Employer as beneficiary against all risk as per the standard all risk policy for Contractors and deposit such policy or policies with the Employer with 7 (seven) days from the date of receipt of the letter of acceptance of tender.

The successful Tenderer whose tender is accepted shall berequired to furnish by way of security a sum which shall be Rs: 1.00 Lakhs within a week from day of acceptance of offer in the form of DD, Bank Guarantee from Nationalized Bank in favour of Executive Engineer PWD Bidar. The validity of which shall be upto 2 months beyond the issue of Virtual completion Certificate.

The security deposit shall be refunded during final bill settlement after full completion Certificate by the AEE/PWE sub div Kalaburagi provided the Contractor has satisfactorily carried out all the works and attended to all the terms in accordance with conditions of the contract. No interest is allowed on security deposit.

As per tender document the contractor / supplier shall attach scanned copy of Quoted Amount such as Bank Guarantee or Demand Draft along with the bid on KPPP online portal and submit the Original Bank Guarantee on before the last date and time notified in the tender document to the tender inviting authority.
