UPGRADATION/REPAIR TO PRESSED STEEL OVERHEAD TANK AT CHARDUAR UNDER GE (NORTH) TEZPUR

Note 1: (Applicable for all parts/items) : The bidders/contractors are advised to read tender document, all drawings & all corrigendum/amendments and general condition of contracts before entry/quoting the rates. Note 2:- Attention to bidder is hereby invited to upload revised BOQ if published during their bid submission. Uploading of incorrect/ pre-revised BOQ shall be treated as non bonafide and rejected. Fixed credit has been given in technical documents which shall be taken into account during acceptance of bid/tender.

M&L for dismantling/taking down old corroded angle bracing of any size or type/pressed steel plate/nuts, bolts & washers etc inside the pressed steel overhead tank capacity 9600 Gallon mounted on 15 mtr staging tank of any description by dismantling the welding joints from gusset plate complete all as required at site to repair these all as specified and directed.

M&L for replacement of angle iron bracing of size and thickness as per existing (65x65x6mm) inside the steel overhead tank/clear water tank including making necessary arrangement for holding of surrounding plates and bracing, cutting of gusset plates to required sizes and shape & angle for joiting with bracings by drilling holes welding of web piece with gusset plate wherever required after making proper shape etc complete at the height not less than 15 mtr all as specified and as directed.

M&L for dismantling/taking down old corrogated/MS plain sheet top cover of any thickness from the pressed steel OH tanks by unscrewing nuts & bolts and washers of suitable size complete all as specified.

M&L for fixing MS plain sheet of size 3.0 mm thick cut to proper shape for top cover including necessary fabrication & welding and including nut and bolts and washers of suitable size including welding with hinges of suitable sizes & including painting with two coats of black bituminious paint of suitable quality for water supply purpose over a coatd of red oxide primer complete at PS OH tank and clear water tank all as specified and directed

Dismantling and taking down old corroed PS plate of any size from the pressed steel over head tank by unscrewing nut & bolts or cutting joints and removing of nut & bolts etc including joiting material complete at the height of 15 mtrs.

S&F factory made factory made pressed steel plate of size 1.22m x 1.22 x 6mm thick fixed with suitable size nuts and washers including all jointing material such as lead wool, gasket, non toxic black puitty washer etc and applying two coats of anti corrosive paint suitable for potable water complete at the height of 50 feet approx all as specified and directed

M&L for painting of complete tank (external surface) of capacity 9600 Gallon including staging, ladder, rasing & delivery mains with two coats of synthetic enamel paint (one undedr coat, one finishing coat) after preparartion of old painted surface by scrapping old paint, rust and any other unwanted foreign material with wire brush, complete at the height 15 mtr all as specified and directed

M&L for applying two coats of anticorrosive bituminuos paint lead free suitable for potable water to internal surfaces of PS tank of capacity 9600 gallon after preparartion of old painted surface by scrapping old paint, rust and any other unwanted foreign material with wire brush, complete at the height 15 mtr all as specified and directed

M&L for construction for MS float box made out of MS Sheet 1.6mm thick and of size 30 x 30x 25cm complete painting black bituminuos paint incl supply and fixing of nylon rope of including construction of water level indicator of existing size made out of MS sheet of 1.6mm thick complete including painting with super anamelled paint of white colour duly marked with water levels in red colour showing the levels of water inside the overhead tank including arrow of existing size painted with red colour and fixed at the height of 50 feet and testing complete all as specified and as directed

Note for Ser No 1 to 9 : Cost of Scaffolding required for working at any height of OHT including materials and other neccesary safety measures are deemed to be included in quoted rates.
