Desiliting the reservoir / from the upstream and downstream of the Irrigation structures by removing deposited sediments / sand (after remitting the amount in advance based on the quantity of sand removed during the succeeding month to the appropriate account as directed by the Government / Departmental officers) using suitable sophisticated machines or by mannual means from the locations defined and for a depth specified in the desilting plan which shall in no case go beyond the original bed level of the structure and including all lead and lift, all labour charges, incidental charges and hire charges of the machineries, all tools and plants and accessories, fuel charges, idling and mobilisation charges etc. complete in accordance with the norms specified in the terms and conditions. The quoted amount is to be deposited by the contractor in the appropriate account as directed by the Government / departmental officials.
Filling river bed at locations to a bed level as defined and directed by the department with sediments at site by mechanical methods such as sand pumps or any similar equipment including all lead, lift, all labour charges, incidental charges and hire charges of the machineries, idling and mobilisation charges etc. complete, strictly during no flow period in the river or during the period specified by the department according to the flow conditions in the river (Deduction).
